When starting the game fothe first time, you'll choose national flag and proceed tCopacabana Beach. Here yocan freely move your Mii antalk to different characters to access the game'svarious modes.

♦ New modes and facilities will appear as youadvance through the game.

♦ You can also start any mode from the ShortcutMenu (once unlocked) by pressing .

In this mode, you can freelselect an event to play witany available characterSolo is for 1 player, anMultiplayer is for 2-4 playeco-op or competitive play.

Go here to participate in thOlympic Games by enterintournaments as your Micharacter. Make it through althree matches to get a medaand clear that tournament.Visit the Co-op Counter to switch between single-player mode and two-player co-op mode.

In this mode, you'll choose tplay as either Team Mario oTeam Sonic, and competagainst the other team. Defeathe opposing team's captai(Mario or Sonic) within a set number of rounds towin. If neither captain is defeated, the winning teamwill be determined based on other criteria.

This mode can be played by a single player (Solo)or two players (Multiplayer).

You can do various things here, such as viewinginformation and changing settings.

Miiverse posts are displayed here. You can also useit to post to Miiverse yourself.

Download other players' ghost data from theNetwork Rankings and compete against themin events.Your own ghost data may also be uploaded afteryou complete an event, letting players around theworld try to beat your records!

Scan a Mario or Sonic amiibo to access the LeagueSeries. Scanning other amiibo will earn you coinsand Rings.

Carnival Challenges

Every so often, Carnival wilcome to CopacabanBeach. When it does, yocan take on special CarnivaChallenges by talking to thcharacters on the floats. Clear events whilecompleting the missions they give you to win specialprizes!

At these stands, you can use the coins and ringsyou've earned to win cool collectibles such asoutfits for your Mii and stamps to use in Miiverseposts.

♦ The amount of times you can scan amiibo islimited per day.
