Shape

Lines that meet to make figures

Shape is used to define the outfit in this picture, ovally fuzziness.

Shape is used here for the pillars and structure of the ruins.

This shows shape through circles that are linked together.

My Personal Preference of shape is this cube because its lines meet to make something new

Line

A mark that may contain endings

The lines on her dress come to a stopping point.

The train has rows of seats which show lines.

This shows thick lines that meet together to create a new picture.

My personal preference is a horse made of outlines.

FORM

Shapes with depth, width and height

This shows depth because of the ruffles and layers.

This shows 3D pictures that have real looking qualities.

This symbol has width and depth that something of real life would have.

My Personal Preference is 3D glitter putty.

Value

Light and dark changes in color

Their dresses show value because they are a series of pink, and light blues.

This home shows value because it has different gradients of light browns.

This image shows value because of the different shades of purple and blue.

My Personal Preference is flowers of different shades of the same color.

Texture

The feeling of a surface

This scarf shows texture because of its fluffy soft ruffles.

This house shows texture through its granite walls.

This shows texture through the type of art and glass-like material.

My Personal Preference of texture is this wooden plank because it is scratchy and jagged.

Color

The hue, shade, or value of something

This shows color because each outfit has different fades and hues of color.

This room shows color through the lime green paint on the walls and the orange, plus the white and brown furniture.

This shows color because each symbol has different gradients of shades of yellow, pink and blue.

My Personal Preference of colors is having many different shades

Space

A type of depth or illusion

This shows illusion of depth because it is really just a cut out and seems real.

This picture shows a boy who is making it seem that he is a dish, with the illusion of his head being chopped off.

This is an illusion because it shows how the triangle comes together at certain points.

My Personal Preference of Space is how the squares are well separated to create an effect.
