The panelists were asked to discuss and evaluate each of the
proposals on the following criteria:
– Aesthetic quality – Appropriateness of the proposed artwork
for the site and project goals – Demonstrated feasibility of the
preliminary proposal and the proposal budget – Demonstrated
maintainability and durability of the artwork’s design, materials,
fabrication
and installation methods
The panelist then ranked the artists 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 (1 =

Motion: Motion to authorize the Director of Cultural Affairs to
enter into contract with artist Leonardo Drew for an amount not to
exceed $410,000 for design, fabrication, transportation and
installation consultation of an artwork for the San Francisco
International Airport: Terminal 1, Boarding Area B, Bulkhead 1
Project. Motion: Motion to approve selected artist, Andy Vogt and
proposal for the San Francisco International Airport: Terminal 1,
Boarding Area B, Bulkhead 1 Project as recommended by the artist
selection panel.

enter into contract with artist Andy Vogt for an amount not to
exceed $450,000 for design, fabrication, transportation and
installation consultation of an artwork for the San Francisco
International Airport: Terminal 1, Boarding Area B, Bulkhead 2
Project. Motion: Motion to approve selected artist, Jason Jagel and
proposal for the San Francisco International Airport: Terminal 1,
Boarding Area B, Holdroom 10 Project as recommended by the artist
selection panel.
Motion: Motion to authorize the Director of Cultural Affairs to
enter into contract with artist Jason Jagel for an amount not to
exceed $400,000 for design, fabrication, transportation and
installation consultation of an artwork for the San Francisco
International Airport: Terminal 1, Boarding Area B, Holdroom 10
Project. Motion: Motion to approve selected artist, Robert
Minervini and proposal for the San Francisco International Airport:
Terminal 1, Boarding Area B, Holdroom 14 Project as recommended by
the artist selection panel.
Motion: Motion to authorize the Director of Cultural Affairs to
enter into contract with artist Robert Minervini for an amount not
to exceed $277,000 for design, fabrication, transportation and
installation consultation of an artwork for the San Francisco
International Airport: Terminal 1, Boarding Area B, Holdroom 14
Project. Motion: Motion to approve selected artist, Emily Fromm and
proposal for the San Francisco International Airport: Terminal 1,
Center, AC – 06 Project as recommended by the artist selection
panel.
Motion: Motion to authorize the Director of Cultural Affairs to
enter into contract with artist Emily Fromm for an amount not to
exceed $300,000 for design, fabrication, transportation and
installation consultation of an artwork for the San Francisco
International Airport: Terminal 1, Center, AC - 06 Project.
