The new office of MCCI at Police Plaza Concord, Gulshan-1 was inaugurated on 03 August 2019. Now that it is ready for use, it has been decided that the various facilities available at the new office may be rented out for its member and non-member firms for holding seminars, workshops, meetings, symposiums, other official gatherings and forums, etc. In this connection, this policy will be treated as a guideline only. The Chamber Committee is fully empowered to follow any new system or bring any change any time or allow any party to use the facilities any time on special consideration.

Depending on the use of the whole/partial facilities available at MCCI office, the rental rate will be applicable as under:

Please note that the above-mentioned rental rate is applicable for 6 (six) hours only in a day. Additional charges will be applicable for extended uses.

Please also note that an additional 10% discount on the total rental amount will be applicable for any party hiring two or more facilities simultaneously on the same day.

• The party (someone who wants to seek rents, thereafter called as party) has to confirm availing MCCI’s facilities at least two days before the event. Service will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. The party will have to write to the Secretary-General mentioning the purpose, date and time .

• The rent will include the space, available furniture, lighting and audio-visual arrangements. The party may also hire additional facilities like furniture, lighting and audio-visual system from external sources at their cost if necessary through prior consultation with appropriate authority.

• The party will arrange banner or other display materials of their own choosing. • The specified rental rate will not include food, drink or anything else.• The party has to pay an additional 10% of the rent as service charge.• The party will have to cater for food, drinks, beverages, and snacks separately on

actual cost basis. MCCI will render required support in acquiring these items as per need.

• The space is rented out for official purpose only. Any social events like marriage ceremony, reception program, gaye holud, akikah, etc., cannot be arranged at the premises.

• The party will remain responsible for any damage to the property. Nothing will be allowed to be hung or pasted on the wall.

• Only Pay Orders or Cross Cheques in favor of MCCI will be accepted.• 50% of the rent has to be paid in advance as booking money.

MODE OF PAYMENT

BOOKING CANCELLATION

If a party wants to cancel a booking, they have to inform the MCCI authority in writing (e-mail) at least one day prior to the event date. Otherwise, 50% of the rent will be charged.
