THANKSGIVING LUNCH
My name is Stephanie Reyna; I am the counselor and parent liaison for Somerset Early Childhood Elementary. I look forward to introducing and facilitating our campus’ Practical Parenting courses.
Our first Practical Parenting Course What Parenting Style are you?
will be held in English and Spanish onFriday, January 16 @ 9:00 am at ECE Library
Repeated on Friday, January 16 @ 5:30 pm at ECE Library
What Parenting Style are you? will focus on understanding the family system as a whole
Parenting Quick Tip: Around the Kitchen TableThe kitchen table has always been a bonding time for families. Studies even show that children whose families eat together do, better in school and other areas of their lives. By asking open-ended conversation starters, you can avoid the typical shrug or “I don’t know,” and get kids engaged in talking.

7 Where would you like to go for a vacation?8 Who is your favorite hero and why?
9 What is your favorite family tradition?10 How would you solve...?
