The Globe Theater Have you ever wondered about the Shakespearian actors, and the gigantic stage? Back then, the Shakespearian actors acted differently than we do today. No women could act on stage. Only men could. Men had to play womens parts. That is crazy! In our world today, anyone is allowed to act on stage. Now, lets talk about that stage. The stage is extended into the audience, and it has columns that the actors use to hide behind, and perform a scene. Backstage, there are props and special effects. For example, the actors use swords, shields, etc Some special sound effects are a cannon, fireworks, and shouts. Wow! To sum it up, I never knew anything about the Shakespearian actors, and the gigantic stage, until now.
