Program Description

As a global city and the largest in China, Shanghai influences

commerce, finance, trade, culture, fashion, research, and enter-

tainment. Beautiful and modern, the “Paris of the East” has

been described as the showpiece of the world’s fastest-growing

economy.

Students will have the opportunity to complete a business in-

ternship while taking Chinese courses at Shanghai Lake Malaren

International Convention Center. After short-term training, par-

ticipants will be placed in various administrative departments

working with local staff.

Undergraduate Courses Offered

*6-9 credits required All participants following the Stony Brook Curricu-

lum (SBC) will fulfill GLO and EXP+ in addition to requirement(s) fulfilled

by their coursework.
