ASCS offers an enriched, balanced, and broad American curriculum with an international perspective, in keeping with the US Common Core State Standards and Next Generation Science Standards. We also provide the UAE National Education in Arabic, Islamic Studies, and Social Studies and upkeep a unique Quran memorization program.

At ASCS, course delivery methodology is based on world class renowned teaching strategies and best

practices with the aim to motivate students for tapping into and realizing their full potential. We strive to ensure the development of the “Whole Child”, and build self-confidence and self-awareness, which in turn enables independent learning. The teachers at ASCS Nad Al Sheba use differentiated instruction to cater to individual needs of the students, communicate regularly with parents, provide a safe and secure environment for learning, and use the latest technology to incorporate 21st century skills.

With our state-of-the-art learning facilities and technology alongside our world class renowned teaching strategies, we ensure that our students are being enriched with the finest education. We are fortunate to be able to draw on two decades of educational knowledge and expertise from our sister schools, ISCS Muwaileh and ASCS Maliha.

Campus FacilitiesASCS Nad Al Sheba has state-of-the-art learning facilities and technology; the classrooms are the center of learning and have been designed to support optimal movement, creative out of the wall spaces and several activity stations with immediate outdoor access to an engineered garden. Each of our classrooms is fitted with the latest computers, interactive whiteboards, shared active learner responses devices and visualizers. The idea is to encourage creativity with the integration of technology so that the students internalize the concept of ‘thinking out of the box’. This coupled with our strong educational standards and quality-teaching practices ensure our students find classroom learning fun and engaging.

It is my pleasure, on behalf of our students, staff and community, to welcome you to the American School of Creative Science, located in Nad Al Sheba 3. We are at the heart of a growing community, drawing admissions from across Dubai and Sharjah because of our focus on academic excellence rooted in faith. This brochure intends to introduce you to our school, a safe and inspiring learning environment helping students realize their potential.

At ASCS Nad Al Sheba, we believe that nurturing holistic communities is the purpose of education. This means helping students achieve academic excellence driven by virtuous dispositions and a strong moral compass. Our aspiration therefore, is to enable learners to have the passion for seeking knowledge, to care about the world and be able to define solutions to make their impact in it. Our curriculum provides the skills and attitudes to do this. We provide a unique blend of the US Common Core and UAE Curriculum, woven together through the values of our school’s vision and mission. Curriculum skills therefore, are

always linked to real-life experiences, innovation, faith and UAE culture. The Qur’an program ensures children develop a love for recitation and memorization, promoting the importance of oral literacy in the region. Our passion for language enables students to develop a proficiency and passion for English and Arabic, kindling the mission of the UAE to secure Arabic as a language of the future.

We expect very high standards of work and behavior from all of our students. We do this by enabling learners to take ownership of their progress, setting personalized targets for their growth. We strive for excellence in teaching practices consistently across the school, where students are constantly in the challenge zone to expand their knowledge. The after-school program, trips and pastoral programs all ensure that students develop a passion for activities which they can pursue outside of school and later in life.

Principal's Message

Admissions to the American School of Creative Science will be conducted on a first come first served basis in a fair manner. Admission will also be based on entrance test for each grade and stage level. Prospective students will also be required to undertake a CAT4 Cognitive Ability Test on a published date and time.

Admission procedures for new students

Complete the application form at the school.

Submit a copy of the student’s passport, copy of each parent’s Emirates ID & most recent school report or (to whom it may concern) letter from the student’s current school.

Upon receipt of the application form, the student will be invited for an entrance exam and interview. KG1 and KG2 students will be invited to school with their parents for an interview.

Grades 1 to 7 students will be invited for a computerized examination & interview.

The Registration Department, along with the Senior Leadership Team, will test and evaluate applications made throughout the year on a case by case basis. Admissions will be based upon availability in the grade level school/term reports and entrance/CAT4 Cognitive Ability Test results. All other registration and administrative requirements remain the same as other grade levels.

If your application is successful and the student is offered a place, you will be notified by phone or e-mail and be invited to come in to complete the rest of the admission formalities.
