SHARED HOUSING CENTER
Shared Housing Center offers housing stability with supportive services, focusing on economic independence, vocational advancement and academic achievement. We serve non-traditional families and individuals, including women with children, grandparents raising grandchildren and
returning female veterans.
ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACT
• Provided housing and housing services to more than 25,000 families and individuals (more than 250 annually) since 1984
• Achieved less than 5% recidivism to homelessness through long-term support and relationships with alumni families for over three decades
• Supported more than 50 high school grads since 2010 to attend college and vocational training through scholarships and internships
