Subject: Momentary power interruptions cause the Aquos link to become inoperative. Countermeasure: Upgrade unit with latest firmware version 1.04.

The new firmware can resolve the following occurrence:

After momentary power interruptions (within one second) can cause Aquos link inoperative.

In this case, please upgrade the monitor firmware to 1.04.

Please refer to the service manual(s) for the upgrade procedure.

When servicing these models, please upgrade the monitor firmware to version 1.04 or later by using a USB memory device. Please go to SharpNet (www.sharp-service.com) Technical Channel ►downloads to get latest firmware versions.

Note1: All user data settings are not reset when the monitor firmware is upgraded by using the USB memory device. Please reinitialize the TV (INDUSTRIAL INIT) after each upgrade. The user settings will then be set to the default settings.

Note2: The firmware can be downloaded from SharpNet.

Note3: The progress screen for this firmware upgrade may take up to 1 minute to appear. Before removing USB device, please unplug AC cord to restart upgrade process (if needed).
