This project is easy to assemble and can be personalized with each student’s own hand-tracing. How to Download: Download the print-ready pdf file (includes lesson plan/instructions). Goals/Objectives: Students will create a Shavuos Greeting Card that can be sent to family and friends before Shavuos. Materials Needed: 1/3 of a sheet of colored cardstock ½ of a sheet of colored cardstock ( a different color than the first one) Die-cut of a handprint (or trace a hand yourself) Green wax sticks or pipe cleaners Assorted fake flowers (from the dollar store) Glue Buttons Instructions: 1. Bend back the fingers and glue them to the palm of the hand, as if the hand is holding something. 2. Glue the hand onto the smaller piece of cardstock. 3. Glue flowers onto that paper in different places. 4. Glue a button into the center of each flower. 5. Insert wax sticks or pipe cleaners into the fingers and then onto the flowers. Glue them down. 5. Glue the smaller (decorated) card onto the larger card. Variations: To make a folded card, the smaller card may be glued onto a sheet of cardstock that is folded in half.
