Work it Out Project focus

We are currently working to establish links with local authorities, health boards and other major public sector employers, and are liasing with our existing partners to further the project. As the project approaches the 2 year stage, we are now looking to make some permanent links with partners that will ensure long-lasting relationships between Shelter Cymru, umbrella organisations and businesses into the future.

Advice online

If your organisation has not put a link on the web pages this can easily be done. The link is - http://www.sheltercymru.org.uk/get/default.aspx?parentid=2If you require any help to place this on your pages please do not hesitate to email us for assistance. We are currently working on plans for a new set of software tools for employers and umbrella organisations that will enable Shelter Cymru’s advice services to be accessed more effectively – we will update on this soon!

Progress to date

During November the Work it Out project was in attendance at Swansea Council’s health and well-being day at the Oldway Centre in Swansea, and a number of events with Bridgend Council’s health and well-being road shows across the county. We were also at the Communities First Conference at the Swalec Stadium in Cardiff on the 11th, and made many positive links with other third sector organisations. In December we will be at the Salvation Army’s open day in Cardiff on December 1st, and the TUC health and safety conference in Cardiff on the 2nd, along with liasing with and meeting with current partners during the month.

Any new partners?
