to help that day, please let me know. We can always use extra help with set up and take down. We willneed volunteers to bake. If you can help or bake, please reply to this email or call Bev at 326-2914.Cruizin Fur Critters will be held on Saturday, June 9. We may have at least one sponsor who willfinancially help us with advertising, prizes, etc. More on Cruizin in April.

Boys n Toys was held this past Saturday, March 24 th at Hoffman Hall. It was not as well attended as I hadhoped, but it was better attended than I had feared. There were 11 families present. I think everyone whodid come had a good time. I will be the first to say that this event was an extreme amount of work. Ibelieve we made about $100 on Boys n Toys. Thanks to everyone who helped in anyway. Thanks also toour sponsors for their financial support. Halpin Tire and Ken Stoeffler American Family Insurance donatedenough to pay for 2 weeks of Courier Press ads and 15 radio ads. AmericInn Lodge and Suites donated aone night stay in a whirlpool suite and Monkeys Tale gave a $10 gift card. This event will be wrapped upas soon as thank you notes are written hopefully by the end of this week.

Princess for the Evening is set for Saturday, May 5. We have Huckleberrys booked and Bird and AndySkemp will not charge us for the use of the hall. Brian Cipra will once again be the photographer. AndyJones Juice MC- from Boscobel will be the DJ. The cost for Juice MC is $150. Jill has picked up thecorsages from Kembles Greenhouse and balloons and tiaras will be ordered this week. To date, we have$400 pledged from sponsors. All but 2 have already mailed in their checks. Sponsors to date are: TenderCare Animal Hospital, Dr. Donna A. Higgins, Optometrist, Nelson True Value, Phils Auto Body, PaperMoon and Associated Bank. At the March meeting, Julie told us that we may have trouble getting heliumfor the balloons. She was correct. Jami contacted AirGas as in the past to see if they would donate a tank

of helium for the balloons. AirGas told Jami that they cannot get helium at this time and hoped that by nextyear the situation would be resolved so they could donate to us. I placed a call to Badger Welding fromMineral Point and was told that at this time they can still get it. I reserved one tank which will be deliveredto Nelson Hardwoods on the Monday preceding Princess and will be picked up from Nelson Hardwoodson the Monday after Princess. The cost for one tank of helium which will fill 200 balloons is $45.Badger Welding will donate the helium. Donations will be solicited for cheese trays, a grand prize for thefree drawing, a Princess cake and possibly flowers for the tables. We will need help setting up in the afternoon and again some help for the evening. If you would like tohelp with set up which is fun as we fill 200 balloons with helium, please reply to this email or call me at326-2914. Time for set up will be decided at the April meeting. If you would like to help with the dance, please let me know also. This year I would like to try letting moms in for the very last 15 minutes of thedance. We had a few moms sneak in last year as they just had to see their husbands and daughters onthis special evening. I feel that most of the work is done for Princess, other than advertising, set up, the

event itself and getting a few door prizesPizza Hut Celebrity Tip Night was a huge success thanks to all of you who supported RABAS by diningat Pizza Hut that evening and leaving very generous tips. We cannot thank you enough for your supportand for also spreading the word about Celebrity Tip Night. Thanks to everyone who came to Pizza Hut forCelebrity Tip Night and to the guest servers. We made $688 in tips from 5 p.m. 8 p.m. plus another $20was received in the mail from a friend of Vicki and Bill Mueller who could not make it on Tuesdayevening. Pizza Hut will donate an additional $500.Pasta for Pets will be held on Wednesday, April 18 th at Huckleberrys. Pasta for Pets is an all you can eatpasta, salad and dessert bar. We need volunteers to bake desserts for the dessert bar. Brownies, cakes andbars work well. We will also need a few volunteers to waitress (deliver beverages, etc and bus tables).Pasta for Pets does also include a silent auction. If you can donate anything for the silent auction, bakeorvolunteer that evening, please reply to this email or call Bev at 326-2914 or Jill at 326-4870.The Food Stand & Bake Sale at Kembles has been canceled for this year.

A Chicken Q by Rooster Andysof LaCrosse will be held on Thursday, May 31. It will be held in theparking lot of Rickleff Plumbing/Amerprise Financial Services/Great River Community Medical Clinic onthe corner of Marquette Road and Blackhawk Ave. We will need to sell 300 grilled chicken dinners at $8each. Our cost is $5 each. Chicken dinners include grilled chicken, potato salad, baked beans and adinner roll. Please promote this fund raiser to your friends, relatives and co-workers. Donna had someexcellent news to share at the March meeting. Design Homes will commit to buying 150-170 chickendinners for their employees. So we are half way to selling the minimum order of 300. Tickets will be soldin advance and we will have them available at the April meeting so our members can purchase them forthemselves or to sell. Jill suggested that we do not sell the tickets until May as she is afraid that peoplewho purchase them too early will either forget they have the tickets or will lose them.
