Shlomoo Organization Comprehensive Report until 10/Sep/2016

Introduction:

Shlomoo Organization has started its works on 12/Jan/2016 by monitoring and

documenting the violations and crimes that have been committed against the Christians

(Chaldeans, Syriacs, Assyrians, and Armenians) in their residence areas in Mosul,

Nineveh Plain, Sinjar (Shingal), and other areas in Iraq by the Islamic State in Iraq and

the Levant terrorist Organization (ISIS) through its field teams which toured many

places, in which the Christians citizens were forcibly displaced in camps, rented houses,

under-construction buildings, caravans and wherever they were to closely witness the size

of the violations and crimes committed against them. The outcome of the accomplished

works of violations monitoring and documenting from 21/Jan/2016 until 10/Sep/2016

was (11135) families, that is nearly about (50%) of the total number of the displaced

Christians citizens.

This field survey included the camps in Arbil Governorate (City Centre, Ozal city, Jihan

compound and Dirwaza compound), Ainkawa town (Town Centre, 108 province,

Karimlais compound, Ashti 1 camp, Ashti 2 camp, Alamal compound, and Alkarma

compound), it also included the displaced in Duhok Governorate (Mar Narsai Centre,

Shezi compound, Zakho district, Akrah, Aldawoodia compound, Mangesh, Aradin, and

Sirsink) and the displaced in Sulaymaniyah and Kirkuk Governorates (Kirkuk Displaced

Centre. The work is still ongoing in the Iraqi governorates. The field survey also included

Lebanon, Jordan, and many campaigns wherever the displaced exist in Germany and the

work is still ongoing. In addition to formatting forms that document the violations on

Shlomoo Organization website to be accessible to the citizens, whose rights have been

violated by ISIS terrorist Organization or any other organizations, to register and

document these forms and sending them online from anywhere to Shlomoo Organization

on (www.shlomoo.org).

Through monitoring and documenting by the field teams, some notes were detected

which can be summarized by the following:

1- There is a big turnout by the displaced to testify what they have exposed to from

severe violations according to the International Human Rights Standards.

2- Most of the testimonies confirm that what the displaced have exposed to is a

continuous result of what they had exposed to since April/2003 until the falling of

Mosul in June/2014. It is a interrelated and systematic series to get them to a genocide

as the one that had occurred to them and eradicated them for the first time in the

history.

3- Many of the displaced have brought documents that enhance the violations that have

occurred to them through the claims they presented to courts of law, police

departments or CDs.

4- Most of the testifiers presented private individual testimonies in addition to Shlomoo

Organization for Documentation form.

5- The psychological status of most of the displaced was disturbed because of what they

have exposed to from severe violations, sad and touchy stories, and horrible events.

6- The displaced felt hopeless and not knowing the future whether to stay or to

immigrate, they felt that they were left alone in this world to meet their inescapable

fate.

7- Collective claims to accelerate the liberation of their areas and assuring their

international protection conditioned return as a guarantee for their future.

8- The necessity of providing succor aids and compensations for huge financial losses for

thousands of houses, machines, and industrial, commercial, agricultural, and

handicraft projects, in addition to complete appropriation of their possessions of gold

and money, especially during their displacing and fleeing to Kurdistan Region.

Violations:

During the monitoring and documenting the violations, the Shlomoo Organization for

Documentation has come to the conclusion of the following:

1- The number of testimonies that have been listened to by Shlomoo Organization for

Documentation field teams until the preparation of this report is (11135) families not

persons, that the testimonies of more than (30000) (thirty thousand) persons have been

listened to (not including children under the age of 16 years old).

The testimonies were mostly presented by the householder and the spouse, or the

father and his son, on behalf of the family, or the mother with her son or daughter on

behalf of the family, or by the presence of the whole family, and that took much of

listening, time, and effort for documenting all the criminal deeds that they have

exposed to.

2- In spite of that the most of the escapees from death by Islamic State in Iraq and the

Levant terrorist Organization are 95% from Mosul (Nineveh Plain), however, there

are large numbers of the presenters to document the violations that they have exposed

to are from capital Baghdad, Basarh, Diala, and other governorates.

3- The genocide of the Christians took the organized prosecution approach to

exterminate them through identification-based murder, abducting, and captivating

them in the governorates they were living in. Moreover, when they managed to flee or

a few family members managed to survive, those terrorist groups chased them down

in the governorates they headed to. For instance, it was observed that (650) families

have exposed to compound genocide in Nineveh governorate after surviving of the

family as a whole or a part to meet the same inescapable fate in Nineveh Plain after

heading to it for the first time.

4- About (11133) families have been documented supported with original documents in

addition to the way of reaching them when needed to inquire about any information.

We have tangibly found that the Christian nation (Chaldeans, Syriacs, Assyrians, and

Armenians) has exposed to a genocide by the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant

terrorist Organization (ISIS) according to the International Human Rights Respect

Standards endorsed by the United Nations.

The Christians exposed to murder, compulsory displacement, abducting, captivating,

enslaving, and forcing to convert the religion. Their daughters were abducted and sold in

slave trade markets as well as their young children in addition to collective murder that

the facts proved the intention of the Islamic State in Iraq and the Levant terrorist

Organization (ISIS) through blocking the water of the Christian cities and towns and the

demobilization of the employees at the beginning then forcing them to convert to Islam or

they would have been murdered according to what came in its announcement on

17/July/2014, as well as to Christians and Yazidis slaves pricing according to age

documents as shown below:

His vanquishing, The Mover of days evenly with His justice, and may prayers and peace

After informing the Christians and their followers of the date of the presence to discuss

their status in the Islamic State in Nineveh, they rejected and did not come at the pre-

specified time; where we were supposed offer them one of the following choices:

1- Islam.

2- Protection agreement (Taking tribute (Aljiziah))

3- If they refuse the above, the sword will be it then.

The Prince of the Believers, the caliph, Ibrahim, granted them to only save themselves

from the borders of the Islamic State on Saturday 21/Ramadan/1435 at 12:00 PM as a

final date, and nothing but sword will be between them and us after this date.

Genocide

The act of inflicting organized collective harm is usually

described as extermination and it was demonstrated according

to the second article of Genocide crime prevention treaty and

punishment on it that was issued by a decision of united

Nation General Assembly 26(D-3) on g 12 -1948 This tree

was put into operation on 12 -1-1995. It was fixed in the

internal system of International Criminal Court. According to

the treaty named (CPPCG) the act of Genocide with objective

of total or partial destruction against a group whether it is

national or ethnic or religious a is destruction by one of the

following criminal acts

.1 Murder members of the group .2 Inflicting physical or dangerous spiritual harm against

members of the group. 3. Submission of the group deliberately to living

conditions in order to its material destruction, totally or

The Details

His wife Mrs. (N.Sh.H) talked about what had happened to them and said:

ISIS terrorist Organization entered our areas on 8/Aug/2014, but we did not recognize that

until 7/Aug/2014. We tried to flee but some of the Organization's followers did not allow us

and took us back to the apartment. After that, we tried to flee again through Karimlais road

with a group of families but they arrested us putting us in Saint Barbarah Church. They

informed us that they were going to slaughter us and they prepared for that. After a while

they said that the Governor issued a forgiveness and they took us back to Qaraqoush. They

psychologically tortured us asking us to announce our conversion to Islam. They physically

tortured us, too. Later, they took us to a house near to Alhamdaniyah Hospital by a person

after rejecting the conversion to Islam. Later, they took us to Mosul asking us again to

convert to Islam. One of them tried to abduct my (12) year-old daughter saying that Islam

allows them to marry a seven year-old child. That was a fatal moment to me and my husband

(R.M.K), who hugged her strongly. After a few days our capturing, me, my husband

(R.M.K), my son, and my daughter, they took us back to Qaraqoush. There, we found broken

crosses and some houses were robbed. Then, we decided to go out o our area by person

whom we met. That person took us to Alkhazir. We were saved by a miracle from the

barbarian Organization.


We had the feeling of death for a few scary and horrible moments. We still live in a very

disturbed psychological condition and fear controls us until this day.

The Details

After leaving our town on 6/Aug/2014 because of ISIS terrorist Organization invasion, we

headed to Erbil. My son (S.M.M) considered immigration to Europe to guarantee his

children's future after losing hope in the future of Iraq. My son (S.M.M) travelled to Turkey.

After a few days, he agreed with a person to cross to Greece by a large safe yacht, but this

person broke the deal putting them in a small boat on 17/Nov/2014. After sailing for a short

distance, the boat turned over and my abovementioned son with his wife (S.S.Q), drowned

and his son (A.S.M) and his daughter (M.S.M) were lost. His second son (F.S.M) was carried

away by the waves to the shore of Greece and survived drowning. My son (B.M.M) received

him in Greece. All of that has happened because of the terrorist Organization, which

separated and tore us apart. We live in a deadly misery and in a miserable psychological

condition after the great loss of our dear family members.

this day whether being alive or dead. We live a bad psychological condition

and in fear until this moment.


My father is still under the control of ISIS terrorist Organization and we know nothing

about him.

The Details

After the fall of Mosul in the hands of ISIS terrorist Organization, I called my brother

(A.Y.H), who was working in Baghdad to quit his work to come to Batnaiah. My brother

tried to come, but he was captured by ISIS terrorist Organization gangs on his way. He was

abducted with four Yazidis. After the abduction in three days, on 18/June/2014, a member of

ISIS terrorist Organization called informing me that they had slaughtered my brother because

of being a Christian working in an alcohol shop in Baghdad. The caller said that he belonged

to the Islamic State.

The Details

After the fall of Qaraqoush in the hands of ISIS terrorist Organization and the escape of

all the people, I, my son, and his family went out, but my husband (Y.A.Y) refused to go out.

The communication between us was through a phone. After a few days, the communication

was no more available. We knew from the arrivals released by ISIS terrorist Organization

that my husband was taken to Mosul. He is still missed and we have no information about

him whether he is alive or dead. We live in a (A.Y.C) camp now.

The Details

I am (N.W.J), a Mosul inhabitant. My son was abducted by the terrorist gangs for (15)

days and a ransom of (25,000,000) twenty five million Iraqi Dinars had been paid after

torturing my son and forcing him to change his religion. The terrorist gangs also chased my

husband on 20/Apr/2014 trying to abduct him, but he managed to escape leaving his work at

Mosul University and he had been registered absent. A warning was issued by ISIS terrorist

Organization on 18/July/2014 telling us to leave Mosul. Our car, money, and properties had

been robbed and my husband's cousin (S.J.S), who had a groceries shop, was murdered.

The Details

ISIS terrorist Organization ordered us to leave Mosul On 17/July. While we were leaving,

we faced a checkpoint of ISIS terrorist Organization where my money, car, and gold were

taken. After we had lost everything, we headed to Kurdistan Region.


We were tortured and our money was taken.

9 A.N.A.Sh 1953 Male Mosul 10/June/2014 ISIS

The Details

After the controlling on Mosul city by ISIS terrorist Organization, we headed to Tillkef.

After one week there, I was phoned and informed that I had to initiate my work because of

being an employee so I went back to Mosul with my family staying there for about (25)

days. On 22/June/2014, the manager of the hospital, which I was working at, told me that the

Christians are unwanted in Mosul so she made me have an obligatory vacation for one

month. Later, on 19/July/2014, we were informed by loudspeakers of the mosques to either

leave Mosul, murder, Islam, or tribute so we went to Tillkef at my daughter's house. My

husband (A.N.A) and my son stayed at home leaving the second day on 17/July/2014. While

they were leaving Mosul with (86,000,000) eighty six million Iraqi Dinars. The money and

some documents were robbed on their way out. After heading to Tillkef, we all escaped but

my patient husband. Because of the security situation, my husband's cousin, who was my

daughter's mother-in-law, died due to ambulances absence then. My husband was arrested.

Then, the neighbors told us that he had needed medication, bandages, and clothes because he

was patient (colostomy) and he needed his special medication so bad. I asked the neighbors

to buy him whatever he needed. I sent them (270,000) two hundred seventy thousand Iraqi

Dinars, but one of the neighbors told me that the rest of the neighbors had stolen my house

and my daughter's house!

After six months of being arrested, my husband was taken to the court of law. The judge told

me to announce his conversion to Islam, but my husband refused so my husband was forced

to pay tribute. He had his retirement credit card with him, (1,800,000) one million eight

hundred thousand Iraqi Dinars so he paid the tribute and he was released with (11) old men

from an infirmary. Later, they were dropped off at a checkpoint in Kirkuk and they were

received by Peshmarga after staying three days under rain and severe cold. We still suffer

from psychological disorders and we live in a pitiful condition.

2- Arresting my husband for more than six months.

3- Robbing all of our money.

10 R.M.A.S 1961 Male Mosul 18/July/2014 ISIS

The Details

It was Friday evening on 18/July/2014. The front door was loudly knocked by an AK-46

so I went to open it seeing three members of ISIS terrorist Organization and two cars waiting

outside with (DShK) heavy machine gun. They asked me if I was a Christian and I said

"Yes!".

They told me to leave everything and get out of the city because we were unwanted to be

there. At the beginning, I refused, but they threatened me to take my sister who was with me

at home so I had to leave taking nothing and leaving everything ,money, gold, and two cars,

behind. I begged them to take one of the cars, but they did not agree ordering me to leave

barehanded just with my clothes I was wearing. We went to Almazaraa area near Tillkef. I

went back to Mosul next day at morning to meet a member of the Organization in Wadi

Alhajar at (10) PM. His name was Alameer (Abu A.). He told me if I would choose Islam as

my religion, whatever had been taken from me would be given back to me, the house, the

two cars, and the money but I rejected the idea. I went to meet Alameer (Abu Y.) at the

Legislative Court on 18/July/2014 telling him what had happened to us. He told me to

convert to Islam to have everything back and I rejected for the second time, too. I suggested

tribute but he refused ordering me to leave the city otherwise I would be slaughtered and I

would never be able to return to the city. We still live in fear because of the psychological

shock.


1- Losing my house and money.

2- Recognizing the reality of the ideology of the alleged State. It is a State that adopts terrorism not

humanity.

3- Losing my job and our future.

The Details

I, my wife, and my three year-old child (Christine) were gathered with a group of

Qaraqoush inhabitants by armed ISIS terrorist groups in a bus claiming that they were taking

us to the health centre to do medical checks for us, but we knew that they were lying when

they separated men from women. While I was sitting with my wife, who was carrying the

baby in her lap, an armed ISIS terrorist member got into the bus grabbing our baby and

taking her away. I begged and beseeched them to give her back but they totally refused

threatening to kill me if I would not get into the bus, which took us to an unknown distention.

Then, we were dropped off. Next, I and my wife walked on foot for four hours until we

While I was heading to my job centre, Almansour Company, inside Mosul University on

in an injury in my shoulder and leg. I was taken to Aljoumhori Hospital, where I stayed for

(15) days. I submitted to several surgeries. Then, I was moved to Erbil Hospital leaving

Mosul because of ISIS terrorist gangs control of Mosul and the bad treatment for the

Christian citizens and forcing them to convert from Christianity to Islam. We headed to

Kurdistan Region on 14/June/2014.

warning did not include tribute but sword slaying only. As a result, we decided to flee out of

the city. On our way out through one exclusive checkpoint outlet established by ISIS terrorist

Organization, we were humiliated because of being Christians and everything we had was

taken, gold, money, even my husband's car with the family documents leaving us walking on

foot losing our land and possessions in Mosul.

On 17/July/2014, we heard through loudspeakers in mosques that we had to leave within

(24) hours, otherwise, we would have been beheaded. In the next day , we hired three taxis to

leave the city heading to Erbil. On our way out, we surprisingly saw a checkpoint of ISIS

terrorist Organization in Alshalalat area. They asked us to get out of the cars taking all what

we had, gold, (5,000,000) five million Iraqi Dinars, and three cell phones. They said that we

were leaving with no return and they said let the churches help you. We still live in a

miserable psychological Condition.

The Details

A gang of seven armed members, some of them were veiled and one was a neighbor of

ours, came on 17/July/2014 to make us choose among Islam, tribute, murder, or leaving the

city. Then, they made me listen to a recording on cell phone threatening me to abandon

Christianity and to convert to Islam, otherwise the consequences would be so pernicious. I

left everything and fled. When I reached Alshalalat checkpoints, I received a phone called

from someone called (R), who I do no at all. He start threatening me that if I did not go back,

they would inform the judge of the Islamic State to stop my salary from Alhadbaa University

College (private sector). In spite of reaching Kurdistan Region, (R) still calls and threatens

me by cell phone and that definitely affects our psychological condition.

The Details

On 18/July/2014, all the Christians in Mosul were threatened either to leave the city, be

Muslims, tribute, or murder so we fled heading to Tillskof. In Alarabi Quarter, we had been

robbed. They took our money, gold, and our car, too. We fled again on 6/Aug/2014 as a

result of ISIS terrorist Organization invasion in that area. We had exposed to several

abductions, threats, murder attempt, and the death of my father as a result of fear in 2013. I

used to work in Grains Manufacturing Department in Mosul and as a goldsmith after work.

After I had been threatened for many time, I moved my goldsmith's to Tillskof and I left my

job for (30) days. After that, I was warned to be dismissed from my job, so I went back to

my job. Later, my brother (N.S.N), who was a university student, was abducted in 2013 and

was released for (20,000) twenty thousand USDs ransom after torturing him. Next, we

moved to Batnaiah, and because of my mother was an employee at Mosul University –

College of Medicine, she was also threatened and she left her work after my father (S.N) was

chased to be murdered. He entered a carpenter shop and directly had a stroke resulted in his

death. My uncle (A.N) was threatened and my another uncle (A.N) was abducted from his

house in Alnoor Quarter but he managed to escape. While escaping, he was shot in his skull

and he still receives medical care until this day. We live in fear and horror and a very hard

psychological condition until now.

2- An attempt to abduct my uncle (A.N) and shooting him in his skull.

3- The death of my father. He had a stroke because of fear.

The Details

After the invasion of Mosul by ISIS terrorist Organization on 9/June/2014, I went out

with my family to Bartillah on 10/June/2014 fearing the threats, but we went back to Mosul

on 13/June/2014 and the life was so normal back then. On 15/June/2014 they knocked the

door asking me to operate the clothes factory that I had so I told my brother (S). We went

with a few workers and operated the factory. After a few days, my friend (R.H) told me that

an decision had been issued to either convert to Islam, tribute, or murder so I rushed and took

my family and headed to Bartillah. There was an ISIS terrorist Organization checkpoint in

Alshalalat area. They made us get out and they asked us whom were we, we said Christians,

they told us to say (Nasara) not Christians. They obliged us to leave the car with everything

in it, money and gold. They dropped us off in a Shabak zone and where we continued

walking on foot until we arrived Bartillah, which we also left on 6/Aug/2014 when ISIS

terrorist Organization invaded the area. We still have the premonition of fear that controls us

until now in addition a hard perpetual psychological condition since the occurrence of the

disaster.

The Details

We left our house at (12) PM on 18/July/2014 and fled because of fear of ISIS terrorist

Organization, which obliged us to forcibly leave our city or choosing Islam or sword. When

e reached a checkpoint of ISIS terrorist Organization, they took whatever we had, money and

gold. One of the neighbors, who was from a different religion, helped us to reach Alshalalat

checkpoint to flee in his personal car and he is a witness of what happened to us and our

getting out of city through that checkpoint, which ISIS terrorist Organization had controlled,

where they took everything we had leaving nothing for us. While they were taking

everything from us , my sister (Gh.W.A.H) resisted them, but the criminals hit her violently

on her pelvis and back with their feet causing a fracture in pelvis joint. Consequently, we

carried her to Kurdistan Region, where she submitted to an over major surgery of

exchanging the joint of the left pelvis with an iron one at Sardim Private Hospital. She still is

under the observation of the specialized doctor(A.F.S). We still suffer from a bad

psychological condition.

mosque, the old people, including myself, were separated and put in a refrigerating vehicle.

that my daughter would have been released the next day. I have no idea about what had

The Details

When ISIS terrorist Organization controlled Qaraqoush, armed groups of this

Organization abducted my brother (Th.M.B), 1970, and his wife (R.B.A.A), 1982. Then,

they had been transported to Mosul and separated from each other. My brother's wife was

imprisoned in one of the house that belongs to (Abu M), an Ameer in the Islamic State,

according to what they said when they called us using my brother's personal phone, whom

was in their capture. My brother's personal phone was the only way to communicate with

them. We talked with his wife for the last time on 22/Aug/2014 and we have no clues of

what happened to both of them until this moment.

The Details

We woke up by a phone call from my father on 7/Aug/2014 informing us that ISIS

terrorist Organization had entered that area so I went out with my family heading to

Karimlais. After a march of (5) KMs, (50) armed persons in cars with general-purpose

weapons surprised us. They made us stop phoning their commander and after (15) minutes

they took us back to Qaraqoush. We tried to escape on 8/Aug/2014 and we faced a pick up

with two armed persons in. They took us to Karimlais taking (200,000) two hundred

thousand Iraqi Dinars from us and finally took us back to Qaraqoush. We were taken to a

house near Sarah Preparatory School on 22/Aug/2014 separating men from women. I was

taken with three sisters (Kh), (F), and (J) to Mosul on 23/Aug/2014 putting us in a two-floor

house. The ground floor was inhibited by members of the terrorist Organization and the

second floor consisted of three rooms. We were (7) in one room, there were (30) Yazidi girls

aged from (10-17) years old in the second room, where the terrorists used to rape the Yazidi

girls every night and we used to hear their screams. After (8) days, a member of ISIS

terrorist Organization asked me why had not I pray saying that my husband converted to

Islam . In the ninth day, I said if my husband had converted to Islam, I would have also

converted to rescue my children, especially my daughter, who was (11) years old, while I

told them that she was only (8) years old. We were taken to the Legislative Court on

30/Sep/2014 and made us convert to Islam and we were moved to a house in Alkoba area.

After suffering from severe fear and horror and lack of food, a food ration agent helped us

and after calling someone, we managed to escape saying that we were going to the

dispensary. When we arrived the bridge, a man was waiting for us saying that they wanted to

help us fleeing from the capture of the terrorist Organization hoping that God may mercify

them. They took us to Maktab Khalid area between Alhawyja and Kirkuk then to Kurdistan

Region.
