1 Deep sea fishing - There are several boat launching facilities in both Leeman and Green Head, with the opportunity to catch dhufish, groper and snapper (licence required).
2 Golf - Tee off for 18 holes of golf located in Green Head. 3 Water activities - There is an abundance of
bays and beaches perfect for water activities - canoeing, diving, swimming, snorkelling, jet skiing, paddle boarding etc.
4 Playgrounds - there are numerous playgrounds in both Leeman and Green Head for children to enjoy.
5 Sea lions - one of the largest colonies of sea
lions in WA can be found at Fishermen’s Island south of Green Head and Beagle Islands north west of Leeman. Sea Lion Tours available from Green Head,

6 Tennis - tennis courts located in both Leeman and Green Head. Racquets and balls available for the Leeman grass tennis courts from the Leeman Country & Sporting Club Inc.- ph. 9953 1041.
7 Leeman Town Oval - kick a ball, play cricket or fly a kite on the lush green oval. (No golf practice please)
8 Wildflowers - view the spectacular wildflowers found throughout the area from July to November.
9 Lake Indoon - located 19km east of Leeman
on the Coolimba Eneabba Road. Lake Indoon is a freshwater lake ideal for skiing, sailing, camping and picnics. Facilities include BBQ, picnic area, boat ramp and ablution block with showers.
10 Windsurfing/kitesurfing - December to March are the best times to take advantage of the sea breeze.
11 Art Galleries - Visit the 2 local art galleries located in Green Head - Blue Ocean Gallery - 0427 261 642 & Green Head Gallery - 0417 186 329.
12 Coffee, meals or refreshments - Enjoy a coffee, meal or refreshment at the local restaurants and take away shops.
13 Dynamite Bay - located in Green Head, the protected bay is perfect for swimming and includes a bbq, gazebo, ablution block, shower, grassed areas and shelters. Very picturesque.
14 Stockyard Gully Caves - located 20km east of Leeman and Green Head, this group of limestone caves forms part of a fascinating ancient below ground river system. 4WD only, caution - bees at cave entrance. Picnic areas onsite.
15 Professional Crayfishing - watch the professional crayfishermen bringing in and unloading their catch at the jetties in Leeman & Green Head.
16 Mosaics - admire the local Mosaic art on the
ablution blocks in Leeman & Green Head and also the Leeman Memorial. The Leeman & Green Head CRC also have a small display.
17 Jetty fishing - evenings are ideal for fishing and squiding from the jetties in Leeman, Green Head and Coolimba (Desperate Bay).
18 Photography - there are numerous photo opportunities in and around Leeman & Green Head - sunsets, flora, fauna, etc.
31 Point Louise - a few minutes north of Green Head is a main surf break but also ideal for snorkelling in the clear waters.
32 Ospreys and their nests -
located in Leeman are 2 manmade osprey nests. Os-preys are frequently seen in their nests or nearby with freshly caught fish. 1 nest is located at the Bay Beach, the other at the new boat ramp.
33 Pinnacles - the Pinnacles are located just south of Cervantes. A desert landscape where weathered rock spires of the Pinnacles rise out of yellow sand dunes. 34 Mini Golf - located at the Blue Ocean Gallery in
Green Head. Open on school holidays, Thursday - Sunday 9am - 4pm or by appointment phone 0427 261 642.
35 Sunrises & Sunsets - There are many vantage points to view some fantastic sunrises and sunsets such as sunrises at the salt lakes, sunsets on the foreshore or the look outs.
42 Sandy Cape and North Head - Located south of Green Head is Sandy Cape and North Head. Sandy Cape is a recreational area where camping is allowed. North Head is a limestone headland reachable by 4WD with superb views, Bartle Memorial and 2 x WWII radar installation shelters. See Sandy Cape information bay for more details.
43 Look Out - Leeman and Green Head have
look out platforms with wooden bench seats where you can sit down and enjoy the breathtaking 360º views of the ocean and townships. The Leeman lookout is located at Ti-Tree Point near Bay Beach.
Green Head lookout is located at Dynamite Bay. 44 Geocaching - Geocaching is a treasure hunt using a GPS enabled devise to find a geocache. There are several geocaches around the Leeman and Green Head area.
45 Library - Visit our local libraries. Leeman Library is open Monday - Friday, 8am - 4pm. Ph: 9953 1388.

46 Beachcombing - take a leisurely stroll along the beach and see what treasures you can discover .
47 Surfing - there is a left and right break at Pt Louise, the left is more powerful which would suit the intermediate to advanced surfer.
48 War Memorials - Leeman and Green Head have War Memorials at Harold Heil Reserve in Leeman and Cliff Park in Green Head. ANZAC Day services are held each year.
49 Picnic & bbq - enjoy a relaxing picnic at the many parks, grab some fish & chips and head to the beach or cook a bbq on the facilities located at Gecko Patch Hill in Leeman or Dynamite Bay, Seal Park and Cliff Park in Green Head.
50 Explore the beauty of the coastline - take a leisurely drive along the maintained gravel track from Point Louise to Little Anchorage complete with picnic tables dotted all along the bays.
51 Coolimba/Desperate Bay - 10 minutes drive North of Leeman is Coolimba, also known as Desperate Bay, a former fishing village where a jetty and a few fishermen's shacks still remain. Protected inlet, great for jetty fishing.
52 Trash 2 Treasure - Find some treasures at the Trash 2 Treasure yard located in Leeman. A recycling initiative, the T2T yard accepts donations of unwanted goods, which are then on-sold, all profits go back into the communities of Leeman & Green Head.

26 Lawn Bowls - Both Leeman and Green Head have bowling rinks, Leeman synthetic and Green Head grass. Bowls are available to use at both facilities. 27 Three Bays Walk - In Green Head, walking south along the path from Anchorage Bay, enjoy the many views, flora and fauna along the way to Dynamite Bay, the look out and ending at the headland at South Bay. 28 Beach fishing - the local coastline has numerous vantage points for beach fishing. Whiting, herring and tailor are most commonly caught. 29 Scuba Diving - Diving the warm Leeuwin current just offshore brushes many accessible limestone reefs which are home to a variety of marine species.
30 Leeman Salt Lake - the large salt lake fills up in winter. The clear water is ideal for paddle
craft, deep enough to paddle in and shallow enough to be safe. In the lake are islands, freshwater springs and birdlife. In summer the lake is partially dry and possible to take a four wheel drive around the
lake. Please seek local advice before attempting this journey.
36 South Bay - South Bay is located at the southern end of Green Head, a long crescent shaped beach ideal for fishing and those who like walking along a deserted beach. 37 Mt Lesueur National Park - 20 minutes south
east of Green Head is a wealth of native flora & fauna. A mega diversity of wildflowers and is a national biodiversity hot spot.
38 Little Anchorage & Billy Goat Bays - located between Green Head and Leeman, offers protected beaches, great swimming, fishing and wind surfing conditions. Check out the “Window” at Lipfert Island (Billy Goat Bay).
39 Skydive Jurien Bay - for the adrenalin junkie,
Skydive Jurien Bay is an award winning tandem skydive drop zone and operates 7 days a week (weather permitting). Ph - 9652 1320
40 Birdwatching - enjoy birdwatching? Both Leeman and Green Head are rich with bird life. Leeman Shire Administration office has a list of birds and locations where birds may be found. Ph - 9953 1388 41 Bushwalking - Leeman and Green Head are surrounded by bushland and nature reserves perfect for bushwalking. Remember to be “snake aware” during the warmer months.
19 Skate Parks - both Leeman & Green Head have a skate park for the skateboard and scooter enthusiast.
20 Snorkelling - the whole coastline is perfect for snorkelling including numerous small islands which are located within swimming distance from the beach.
21 Painted Float Tree - Admire the painted floats and thong art on the tree in front of the Trash 2 Treasure yard in Leeman. 22 Sandboarding - Try your hand at sandboarding on the many sand dunes and beaches.
23 Little Three Springs - One of the last natural watering holes left on
the Old North Stock Route. Fresh water springs in amongst flooded gum trees. 24 Leeman Recreation Centre - Hire the Leeman Rec-
