Wecanproducephotographsofspectacularcolorrangebutremovingthecolorfromaphotochangesthefocus—itshiftstheviewer’sattentonfromthecolorstothingsthatcanbemoreabstract,lessimmediatelynotceable,anditpresentstheworldtousinawaythatfewofusareusedtoseeing it.
