(“BIG”) – headquartered in Herzliya, Israel – was founded in 1994 by Yehuda Naftali with the vision of developing American styled open-air shopping centers in Israel.Today, the company operates in three countries - Israel, the United States and Serbia - where it has ownership (entire or partnership) in 64 projects, 54 of them being operational shopping centers, totaling more than 1.22 million sq m, and 10 under development. In addition, the company owns 4 logistic centers in France.BIG’s senior management, led by Yehuda Naftali and Eitan Bar Zeev, has vast experience in both retail development and shopping centers operation.Operations are based on a vertically-integrated structure of leasing, property management, acquisitions, development, construction management, legal and accounting/reporting functions.BIG is a publicly traded company, traded on the Tel Aviv Stock Exchange, and listed in the TA 125 Index (top 15 real estate companies in the TA stock exchange).The company was traded on the TASE in August 2018 at €850 million, and its total balance sheet assets in June 2018 were at €2.5 billion.

Yehuda Naftali | Chairman of the Board & FounderMr. Naftali has an active role in navigating the company, and setting its goals and strategies. Mr. Naftali has over 40 years of experience in the business of site location, construction and management of open air shopping centers. His real estate career began in West Hollywood and West Los Angeles developing and redeveloping commercial properties for retailers.
Eitan Bar Zeev | Director & C.E.OMr. Bar Zeev serves the principal leadership role for the execution of BIG’s overall business strategy, and brings a variety of experience in all aspects of retail, marketing, acquisitions and brand building. Mr. Bar Zeev joined BIG in 2004 after 11 years with McDonald’s Israel where he served as President before joining BIG.
Hay Galis | Deputy C.E.OMr. Galis serves as the Deputy C.E.O of the company, and is to become the company`s C.E.O in June 2019, replacing Mr. Bar Zeev, who will become the chairman of the board. Mr. Galis joined BIG in 2003, and has been involved in almost every major deal which the company has made since. Mr. Galis has over 20 years of experience in retail real estate, with focus on management, leasing and marketing.

Uzi Eli, Adv. | VP International Business DevelopmentMr. Eli leads international activities and unique projects of the Group.Mr. Eli joined BIG in 2018 after serving as General Counsel and a member of the senior management of Plaza Centers Group for more than 11 years; as part of his role, Mr. Eli oversaw and led complicated public offerings, M&A and finance transactions across Europe, India and the US. Prior to that role, Mr. Eli was a senior associate in one of the leading law firms in Israel. Mr. Eli is a licensed Attorney at Law and has an MBA degree, specializing in finance and accounting.
Assaf Nagar | Executive VP & CFOMr. Nagar is a licensed CPA and joined BIG in 2007, after 3 years as Senior Manager in Ernst & Young Israel. Mr. Nagar is managing the Group's financial department and is in charge of its Investors Relations.

BIG Group expanded into Serbia in 2008. Our subsidiary BIG CEE, was formed to develop shopping centers in Serbia, one of the fastest growing markets in Central and Eastern Europe.
Under its long-term holding strategy, BIG CEE’s primary focus is development and management of owned assets.
From 2016, the company started with acquisitions and mixed-used developments, including residential and office projects.
Future plans of BIG CEE are focused on acquisitions of logistic centers, offices, as well as retail centers of smaller formats.

BIG NOVI SAD is the first shopping center opened by BIG in Serbia and the first shopping center opened in the city of Novi Sad. The project comprised of two box buildings on each side of an enclosed mall and a stand-alone cinema building. Opening of the third box building (GLA 8,000 sq m) which will be hosting the second Decathlon store in Serbia, is scheduled for 2019.

BIG FASHION BELGRADE is the second shopping center opened by BIG in April 2017. In addition to the existing BIG FASHION shopping center, by Q3 2019, BIG will develop BIG FASHION PARK, a unique concept that combines a retail park, residential and office areas. Project totaling 121,600 sq m, comprises of a residential area with 1,000 apartments, an office building and a retail area with the first Decathlon store in Serbia, being one of its main residents. BIG FASHION PARK will introduce the first mixed use project of its kind to the Belgrade market.

*In September 2018, BIG signed a final and binding agreement for the acquisition of Aviv Park Pančevo. The acquisition is expected to be finalized in October 2018. The project is located in the heart of Pančevo city, near the capital city of Belgrade and provides a variety of international brands and local leaders in the fields of fashion, sports, electronics, home decor etc.
