The DK1G shell-type cutters are available in a diameter range from 40 to 200 mm.Tools up to Ø125 are designed for internal coolant supply.
With its wiping fl at the tool is perfectly suited for conventional one-cut operations in automotive applications, like roughing operations with existing surface requirements on the component.

The well-proven interchangeable head system „ChipSurfer“ is being expanded for the application range of external edge machining. In addition to the already existing end mill version a new disc-type version is now offered, which makes it possible to generate radii at internal edges that are diffi cult to reach. The design with 6 effective teeth and the double-sided radius profi le underlines the effi ciency.
The new ChipSurfer series 18S_ is available in the well-proven PVD-coated grade IN1530.
The tough carbide substrate in combination with a PVD-coating allows the use of different materials of the material groups „P, K, M and S“. This series is ideally suited wherever external radii in the range of R1 - R4 are required.

Application Range
The well-proven interchangeable milling head system 'ChipSurfer' is being supplemented for the fi nish machining area with multiple axes. The new tapered end mill series is available in an uncoated and a coated version and is designed to handle fi nishing operations in a shorter time than is possible with regular ball nose cutters, and thereby even improve the surface quality.
The new tapered end mills are available in 2 different carbide grades with the common diameters of Ø8/Ø10/Ø12/Ø16 mm.

Product Overview
The adjustable slot mills presented here supplement the GoldSlot slot mill series with fi xed insert pockets in the diameter range 100 - 315 mm, which have already been successfully placed in the market. The new cutting width range is 11 - 17 mm and thus follows the existing series with 3 - 10 mm cutting widths.
The so-called bridge-style insert, developed especially for this series of milling cutters, got its name from the pressed recess, which provides enough depth of engagement for the screw thread, even for narrow widths of cut, as shown in the following illustration.

Application Range
In addition to the known advantages of the tangential design (stability, high chip removal capacity, high process reliability), this new tool series also makes it possible to generate a fl at slot base, without V-shape. This is made possible by a special grinding angle on the insert, which compensates the angular error that is caused by the lateral release of the insert in the main body.
The corner radii in the standard range are R0.4 / R0.8 / R1.6 and R3.2 mm, depending on the respective insert type and the cutting width of the tool. The cutting width range 11 - 17 mm is covered by just 2 insert types. The inserts IXH415... and IXH416... are mounted on axially adjustable holders, which make it possible to adjust the cutting width and also to serve as spare part in the event of a crash or if an insert breaks.

Product Overview
The square shoulder milling system presented here is a new development with regard to the 4-edged wiper geometry in con-junction with the spindle tilt adjustment. The tool series covers the diameter range 50 - 315 mm in standard. There is the possibility of square shoulder fi nishing on 90° shoulders. The minor cutting edge - adjustable for heel clearance compensation - allows top surfaces, even under non-optimal conditions.

The especially for this tool series developed 4-edged tangential insert in one rotation direction allows top-surfaces at extreme feed rates due to the spindle tilt adjustable secondary cutting edge. The fi nishing insert is available in 2 different minor cutting edge lengths, which enable very high feeds per revolution.
It minimizes the axial force on the workpiece due to the shortened minor cutting edge, thus preventing vibration and chattermarks. The 4-fold curved minor cutting edge enables optimal overcutting results at path fi nishing in a process-reliable and highly effi cient way.
Application Range
This new fi nishing system allows - due to its adjustable insert which is available 2 minor cutting edge lengths - applications on heavy milling machines and boring centers, as well as smaller machining centers. The mounting position of the insert enables face milling as well as shoulder milling at 90° shoulders.

Product Overview
HiPosAlu offers a market-leading performance when machining aluminium and non-ferrous metals. And now, with the new XEVT16 insert, which is very similar to our tried and tested XECT16, we lift cutting speeds to an unprecedented level.
In addition to the existing V-shaped pocket seat, a new form-fi tting "stopper" helps to absorb the centrifugal forces. Therefore, compared to the XECT16, the new XEVT16 allows approximately 35% higher cutting speeds.
Application Range
As there are more and more machines on the market that are designed for these extremely high speeds, we are setting the right course for the future with the upgrade to the XEVT16. An additional productivity gain is due to the excellent ramping capability (ramping and circular interpolation), especially when pocketing in structural components for aerospace industry.

Milling Cutter Series

Product Overview
The new ProDuo ball nose end mill series is designed for rough and semi-fi nishing operations in the mold & die industry, for the aerospace industry as well as for machining in general engineering. Application Range
The new EvotecMax insert has been developed - amongst others - also for single cut machining, especially in the automotiveindustry. Here it is important to produce excellent surfaces and a second fi nish cut is often not possible due to the presetcycle times. We extend our GoldQuad product line, that has been successfully established in the market, with a new plunge mill. The GoldQuadPlunge plunge mill with our SD_S13... insert allows a maximum width of cut (ae) up to 11.9 mm.The new series is available as shell-type cutter with diameter range Ø50 – 160 mm and will replace the former S-MAX plunge mill standard series. Also semi-standard cutting tools in the smaller diameter range (from Ø32) can be produced on request as screw-in type version.

Product Overview - Parting & Grooving Tools
The new T-Burst high pressure coolant tools meet the needs for machining difficult to cut materials such as titanium, inconel and other heat resistant alloys. Supplying high pressure coolant at parting and grooving applications, ensures good chip breaking, reduces cycle time and increases the tool life for most materials.
On difficult to cut materials it is commonly hard to break the chips with standard external coolant especially with low feed rates, but applying high coolant pressure will lead to result on good performance. Moreover, high pressure coolant will reduce or even eliminate built-up edge phenomenon and increase the tool life.
The T-Burst line starts in TClamp system with square shanks of 20 mm and 25 mm. The tools are available for insert widths from 3 mm to 8 mm.
Both TTER/L and TQHR/L type holder are available for high pressure coolant up to 300 bar and can apply coolant directly to the cutting edge.

Ingersoll has expanded the GoldRhino-series with screw clamping type boring bars. The new range of boring bars with screw clamping is now available to suit GoldRhino inserts 'C', 'T', 'V' and 'W'. HOLDER FOR SWISS TURNING APPLICATIONS
Product Overview
The new T-Burst holder for swiss turning applications, as with the current T-Burst holder, applies high pressure coolant from dual holes directly between the metal chip and the insert’s rake face for optimum chip control, extended tool life as well as increased productivity through higher cutting speeds and feed rates.
It is capable of handling coolant pressure up to 140 bar maximum and is designed to machine miniature products generally found in the automotive, medical and aerospace sectors. The new T-Burst holder is ideally suited for machining difficult-to-cut materials such as stainless steel, titanium, inconel and other heat resistant alloys.
For added convenience, a simple coupling (one-touch exchange) system has been introduced. The hose connecting the machine to the holder can be easily and quickly attached or detached for replacement.
The coupling system’s hoses are available in two lengths: 200 mm and 300 mm depending on the machine’s specifications.

Ingersoll Werkzeuge GmbH has expanded the product range of coolant through tools that are designed to lead high pressure coolant directly to the cutting edges.
While T-Burst is the umbrella term of all high-pressure tools of Ingersoll Werkzeuge GmbH, the new Ingersoll-High-Pressure (IHP) tools are characterized especially by the tubeless coolant supply system. For all machine tools with VDI connection according to DIN 69880, high pressure holders can be used easily and quickly without any additional effort.
Large cutting depths are another outstanding feature of the square grooving holders of this new product series. Parting and grooving blades — starting at widths of 2 mm — for large overhangs or deep parting and grooving applications, exact positioned cooling nozzles and additional cooling of side faces make this T-Burst series unique in the world of cutting tools.
Furthermore the new T-Burst IHP tools now offer the possibility to use star turrets with high pressure blades. Simple adjustment of center height by set pin as well as fine alignment with adjustment screws guarantee maximum tool life due to an optimum tooling concept.
