Nov. 12—Showmanship and Education for
Beef, Lamb, Goat & Swine
Nov. 13– Prospect Show Beef, Lamb, Goat
This Clinic and Prospect show is intended to provide an education-
al opportunity for 4-H and FFA members participating in the live-
stock project areas. The main purpose is to teach the basic princi-
pals of livestock management as they relate to facility maintenance,
selection, nutrition, animal health, handling, showmanship and
transportation

Steer—No steer shall weigh less than 500 lbs.
Heifer—Weigh no more than 750 lbs. at weigh in
Please Return all Supplies as soon
as possible and make sure all items
are in good working condition and
notify if are in need of repair
If you are applying for the Polk County Farm
Bureau County Bred Deadline: Turned in by
October 11th $1000 will be presented to the
Highest placing animal in the Commercial Heifer
and Steer Show. $500.00 will be awarded
to 2nd highest place, and $250.00
to the 3rd highest place winner
4-H members in 3rd grade
thru 8th grade, Join us!
Cost: $60. When: October 21-22.

Major Show validation for Heifer, Lamb & Goat will be
October 26th at Barney Wiggins Arena from 6—7 p.m.
Practice will be on Wednesday, October 5th at 6pm
Wish Coach Angie Richardson Luck on her Training October 8th &
9th in Houston to become a USA Archery Instructor! Looking forward
to all the new adventures this will bring to our Polk County Archers!
