l It is our pleasure and privilege to introduce maiden edition

of e-newsletter “Shubhalakshmi Pariwar”. On behalf of our

editorial board we solicit in finding support of our respected

Managing Director Shri Ajay Agarwal Ji, without his inspiration

guidance and blessings this new endeavour could not

materialized.

Shubhalakshmi Polyesters Limited has made a tremendous

and impressive progress from its inception. The turnover of the

company has rose from financial year 2010 to financial year 2015,

from 321 Crore to Rs. 2246.72 Crore. Three ambitious projects

FDY 150 MT/day and DTY 220 Mt/day and PSF 200 MT/Day

manifest its growth and maintaining momentum of progress.

Transforming company into a professionally managed company; a

culture of systems, well laid process and procedures are required

in all sphere of the company; from procurement to production,

from production to quality and from quality to marketing and over

all human competency and attitude for innovation and customer

care.

Therefore the real job of a manager or leader is to develop

systems, processes and educate their people on continuous basis,

imbibe leadership quality in all his team members; who are

competent enough to do their job in a manner which other cannot

do and feel envy. Then inspire them to perform in a manner that is

better from yesterday. An organisation ability to learn and

translate that learning into action is benchmark for the progress

of the organisation.

In the word of shiv khera, author of “You Can Win”;

“winners don't do different things they do things differently.”

In the coming decade only those organisation will survive

who give focus on consistent improvement in their product and

product portfolio, customer orientation, regular improvement in

their processes, system and methods and most importantly

linking, engaging and synergizing talent of employees. For this a

great deal of Team work, open mindness and attitude of adventure

of finding new solution to old problems shall be required. But it

will not just happen at its own. It is a process and through that

process people bring all their personal experience, learning and

expertise on the table.

Suggestion, guidance and blessing from each individual

employee are solicited. Ideas, articles and welcomed.

“Change is life; Change is constant”. Infact the evolution of human being is most suitable example of transformation, i.e., how come apes of ancient ages have now transformed into modern life styled human being. In a very slow but a steady manner, this has become what it looks today. An organization is no way different from a human life cycle, where in people are hired; they are taught what and how to work; then they work and give results; sometimes positive and sometimes negative. What creates the difference here is not how perfect they are; infact it may not be wrong if we say nobody is perfect here; not even Sachin Tendulkar. No derogatory words to the God of Cricket, but what I mean to say here is that, the most important thing is how constant you are in raising your level of performance through regular improvements, which are possible only if you are open to changes and sometimes transformation. Culture does not change because we desire to change it. The culture reflects the realities of people working together everyday. But an organizational transformation is not an overnight process but a gradual escalation. Starting from Business improvement towards Business Excellence. But research says that half of all efforts to transform organizational performance fail. Sometimes people feel that either because senior managers don’t act as role models for change or because people in the organization defend the status quo. In other words, despite the stated change goals, people on the ground tend to behave as they did before. If companies can identify and address pervasive mind-sets at the outset, they are four times more likely to succeed in organizational-change efforts than are companies that overlook this stage.Sometime organizations move quickly from setting their performance objectives to implementing a suite of change initiatives. Be it a new growth strategy or business-unit structure, the integration of a recent acquisition or the rollout of a new operational-improvement effort, such organizations focus on altering systems and structures and on creating new policies and processes. To achieve collective change over time, actions like these are necessary but seldom sufficient. A new strategy will fall short of its potential if it fails to address the underlying mind-sets and capabilities of the people who will execute it. “The point here is that radical changes always possess the risk of snowball effect of adverse events. So, changes made should be attainable, sustainable and result oriented’. Changes are made to enhance the organizational performance, since any model cannot be perfect and seek modification on regular intervals. During a period of organizational change, it’s critical that senior executives collectively adopt the lookout role for the organization as a whole. Yet they often can’t, because they’re wearing rose-tinted glasses that blur the limitations of their leadership style, mask destructive mind-sets at lower levels of the organization, and generally distort what’s going on outside the executive suite. Those open eyes will be better able to spot obstacles to organizational change. On the surface, people say they don’t have the time to make training a priority. But an investigation of the root causes shows that one reason people aren’t trained is that they themselves become successful despite never having been trained. Beneath the surface, managers feared that if they coached someone, others would view that person as a poor performer. While dealing with resistance and fear is often necessary, it’s rarely enough to take an organization to the next level. To go further and initiate collective change, organizations must unleash the full potential of individuals. One person or a small group of trailblazers can provide that catalyst. For many years it was believed that scoring 250 runs in an ODI is sufficient to book a win until early 2000s when it rose to 300 for a 50 over match and followed by 434 in 2006, what once was thought to be an impossible target to achieve. Today, every 4th T-20 score board is 200plus. Organizations behave in same manner. This is again a live example to showcase the importance of change/transformation. Organizations behave in same manner. So never wait until everything is just right, it will never be perfect. There will always be challenges, obstacles and less than perfect conditions. So just Go, get started now, with each step you take, you will grow stronger and stronger, more skilled, more self-confident and more successful. So, don’t wait to see the change, but be the change.

Marketing has been always challenging, innovating and rewarding. Three

core topics namely customer loyality: Branding, customer centricity and practical

go-to-market strategies have been key principles; as per the wharton's top faculty in

the marketing department consistently ranked as the

# 1 marketing department in the world.

Branding: Brand equity is one of the key elements of keeping customers in a

dynamic world in which new starts up are emerging constantly.

Customer centricity: not synonymous with customer service, customer's centricity

starts with customer focus and need gathering.

Go to Market strategy: Understand the drives that influences' customers and

see how these are implemented prior to making an investment.

Branding

The process involved in creating unique name and image for a product in the

customers mind. Branding aims to establish a significant and differentiated

presence in the market that attracts and retains loyal customers.

The company counted the branding campaign success when their products

become a household name and survey indicated that they had a loyal base of

customers.

Marketing philosophy according to which an organisation goal can be best

achieved through identification and satisfaction of the customers stated and

unstated needs and wants.

To succeed in branding you must able to understand the needs and wants of

your customers and prospects. The objective that a good brand will achieve includes:

· Clearly delivers the message

· Confirm credibility

· Emotionally connect your customer and prospects

· Your customer become your brand ambassador

· Creates user loyality

This can be achieved by integrating your brand strategies through your

company at every point of public contact. Think of branding as the expression of who

you are as a company and what you offer sound difficult? It is not, think of it like this if

a brand could speak it would say

· I am __________

· I exist because ___________________

If you relate to who I am and why I exist; you might like me, you can buy me and

you can tell others about me.

As consumer begin to identify with you, your brand will like within the hearts

and minds of customers clients and prospects. It is the sum of total of their

experience and perceptions, some of which you can influence and some that you

cannot.

A strong brand is invaluable as the battle for customers intensifies day by day.

It is important to spend investing in researching, defining, positioning and building

brand. After all, your brand is the source of promise to your customer.

The effectiveness of brand does not just happen before the purchase, but it is

also about the life of the brand of the experience it gives a consumer. Did the product

or the service perform as expected? Was the quality as good as promised or better?

How was the service experience? What was the speed of delivery of the product or

service? If you can get positive answers to these questions you have created a loyal

customer.

Brand not only creates loyal customers but it creates loyal employees. Brand

gives them something to believe in, something to stand behind and reason for pride.

It helps them understand purpose of the organisation or the business.

It is not secret that a strong brand will attract your target market and establish your

company as a preferred brand among your customers. So how do you built a strong

brand?

Strong brands have an understanding of the following

· What they stand for

· Who their target market is

· Who their competitors are- both established and up coming

When you repeatedly ask these questions and you know the answer; it creates the

foundation for the development as strong brand.

Success in life is a function of yourwillingness to accept change.”

– David Williams

Page 7: Shubhalakshmi Parivar · motivation shall be required. Motivation is like a fire unless you keep adding fuel to it, it detoriates and dies. Your fuel is your belief in yourself and

In order to become a strong brand you must in a clear and simple way to able to explain

what it is that you do or offer. This is not only helpful for customers but it is also necessary

to ensure that all of your employees have clean understanding of how to explain what it is

that you do and or offer. There is no room for confusion, which means customer will also

have a clear understanding.

To the point

Strong brand are always consistent in their identity. They keep their identity distinct and

cohesive both in message and experience. Being consistent does not mean dull and boring

, but rather relevant fresh.

Consistency

By listening and analysing conversation one can gain a lot of insight about the positive and

negative sentiments that consumers have about your brand as competition. Real time

analysing and response have become vital ingredients to drive positive sentiments or

otherwise.

Understand competition better

Research have shown most commercially important marketing trend in year 2015 has

been content marketing, which comprise around 29.6% content marketing is a marketing

technique of creating and distributing valuable, relevant and consistent content to attract

and acquire a clearly define audience with the objective of driving profitable customer

action.

Content marketing

The foremost requirement for success of any product is how it fulfils demand and

need of the customer. Gone are those days where you can sell product made as per your

assumptions. Now, first you have to fully understand the need and aspiration of the

customer; then design produce and sell not only that you have to take feedback of your

customers on regular basis to take cognizance of their changing preferences and update

and upgrade your product to cope up with customer expectations.

According to Forbes, the top 10 marketing trends that will define 2016, the highest

importance will be given to customer experience model. Marketers, using integrated tool,

can engage with customer online, track the buyer's journey, measure sentiments and

loyality; and outreach to meet their audience need and interests. But for customers

already bombarded with information, a great customer experience is becoming baseline.

The year 2016 will see brand ambassador given a higher priority, more effective

customer engagement and tighter collaboration with sales and support to directly affect

conversion rates.

Understand Demand of the Customer

When compared to tradition marketing, internet marketing offers a host of

additional benefits; lower cost, closer relationship with customer; re-designing

distributes, re-designing market strategy among others.

Internet marketing has emerged as a driving force for change in firms and customer

relationship. As internet and social network impact grows, marketing mix as a marketing

support tool seems to be diminishing and technological nature tools are taking its place;

customer relationship management, knowledge management, enterprise resource

planning and supply chain management. Internet impact including social media on

Technology the word itself has a very huge meaning and contains each and every thing in this world. Best thing of the technology is it can never replace the creator of technology, but the user of technology can replace a user who not uses technology. So now a day’s technology is a must for any organization, no matter what size it is even a necessity for users to stable and grow in present days. So the fear that once technology will rule the humans is a thought, which believes that we have a generation of idiots between us. Technology is a magic which allows us to fulfill our dreams into reality. We never thought before that we can communicate with each other in a fraction of second, no matter what is distance but today it is possible. We never thought before of flying with birds in the sky, today we can, though in a machine, but one day we will fly on our own. Technology has no limitation. What you can think is possible one day. We should always try to do something new with technology, try to use technology in a way that it optimizes use of technology. At the last, I would like to quote Albert Einstein, the most famous scientist, that a person who never made a mistake never tried anything new in his life. So try something new because technology can change our world.
