The Primorsky Region is home to a creature which is called Siberian tiger.

It is beautiful and graceful.

It is striped red with warm fluffy fur which lets it sleep in the snow.

The tiger weighs about 200-250 kg, its heght is 99-104 cm.

The tigers usually eat deer, roe deer and wild boar.

Siberian tiger is in the Red Book as an endangered animal.

For many years tigers were destroyed because of their beautiful skin.

Nowadays there are no more than 450 tigers in the Ussuri taiga.
