– Chalamala... Are you speaking about... about the FOOL OF THE KING OF GRUYèRE?– Yes... – ARE YOU DUMB OR CRASY?!! – WELL, COME ON! IT WAS HARD TO KNOW HOW TO SPEAK ABOUT SCIZOPHRENIA TODAY... That guy, that fool, was really respected in the area. He’s the perfect representent to speak aboutthat desease. Really, there is no bad joke about it.– I understand better... but the objects “talks” as well, no?– Yes, of course, objects and their names communicate also about the norm and the normal...the standarts in our society… “how should we act”, “what are we made for”, “what mean “simple” or “simplicity”... ?Also in this region of “Gruyère” where mountains are so importants, Food “du terroir” have a very special value. The objects had to be linked to the tradition, but I also wanted them to be free of use in the contemporaty house.– I guess to mix and make coroborated all these scementic layers was not so easy...– I work on it during 4 years, you know... It’s been a while, but with the time and my travels, I’m more and more a food specialist... or a Global specialist (she smiles). The quality of the work, the wood, the communication... Everything is made in Switzerland. It’s a must for a new brand today! The result is really beautiful. I’m very happy. Check it out! http://www.ateliers-chalamala.ch

FOLIO cOLLEcTION – SCENOGRAPHY for QWSTION Invites, ZürichMade in Switzerland. Graphic Design: Jacques Borel.
