Installing A PluginTo install a plugin, go to Plugins >> Add New
Upload pluginClick Upload Plugin
Choose Upload File1. Click Choose File2. Locate the zipped file of the plugin you'd like to install3. Click Open

How To Get To The Plugin SettingsAfter activating the plugin, a new item will appear in the Settings menu. Click the linkto go to the settings screen.

Create Your First StripeBefore the plugin is ready to use, you need to set up at least one stripe. On the BuildStripes tab, the first empty stripe has already been created. Click the grey header toopen for editing.
Stripe Name and Copy1. Enter a stripe for your reference. While this is not required, it will be a big help later on.2. Enter your advertisement or message for your stripe. You may also add images.

Text Color & Location1. To change the text color of all text in the stripe, click Select Color to choose a color.2. Choose to display the stripe on the left or right.

Stripe Design1. You can give the stripe a border if you wish. This will only appear on one side (side
facing the content). To do so, enter a number (in pixels) into the width field, select thestyle and choose a color. To disable the border, enter 0 in the width field.
2. You can also give the stripe a background color by clicking the "Select Color" buttonnext to Stripe background. Alternatively, you can use a background image. To do that,simply click "Upload Your Own" to upload or select an image you uploadedpreviously.
3. When using a background image, you may also choose how to display thebackground. This is not necessary if you are not using background images.

Opt-In Settings1. If you want to include an opt-in form, you can paste the form code in the optin code
field.2. You can change the input texts.3. Edit the submit button text, text color and button color.
Stripe Behavior1. By default, stripes are set to display automatically after 5 seconds, but this can be
changed to any value. Enter 1 to display (almost) immediately after the page loads andto disable auto-display, enter 0 or delete the value.
2. You can also choose to have the stripe auto close after it automatically displays. Ifyou wish to have it auto close, select yes. This will be ignored if slide out delay is 0 ordisabled.

3. If you choose to auto close the stripe, enter how many seconds it should do so afterdisplay.
4. You can also set how long you want the cookies to last. This is a per stripe settingand cookies only take into affect when the stripe is set to open automatically on load.
Tab AppearanceEach stripe has a small tab for opening and closing the stripe manually.
1. To change the tab icon, click the Select An Icon button.2. Click on the icon you use to use.3. Click "Select Color" next to Tab Color to change the tab background color.4. Click "Select Color" next to Tab Icon Color to change the icon color.5. You can also change how far up (or down) the screen you want to show the tab. By
default, it is set at 80 pixels from the top of the screen.

Add or Save A StripeIf you wish to add another stripe, click Add A Stripe. Otherwise, click Save Settingsto save the stripe we just created.

Stripe CreatedOnce the stripe is saved, you will see the name of the stripe in the grey header bar.
Enable The StripesAfter setting up your stripe(s), click on the "Default Settings" tab.
1. Choose what mode you want to use the plugin. By default, stripes are turned OFFeverywhere (all pages/posts/custom posts), and will only be displayed where youchoose. This allows you to use the plugin on only one or a few pages and ignoreeverything else. The other option is to turn it ON everywhere. When you do this, theplugin will use the post/page stripe on all posts and pages. You can disable it onindividual posts or pages but that will have to be done manually.
2. To set a stripe for the home page use only, click the drop down to select.3. To set a stripe for use on all posts, click the drop down to select.4. To set a stripe for use on all Pages click the drop down to select.5. To set a stripe for use on category, archive, author archive, date archive pages, click
the drop down to select.6. Save when you are done.
Note: Modes do not affect home or archive pages. These will always use the settingson this screen.

Deleting All Plugin Data On UninstallIf you no longer wish to use the plugin anymore, click the Misc. tab to check the"Yes" box next to Delete all plugin data. Then click Save Settings before uninstallingthe plugin.

Be careful! When this is checked, all your stripes and all the settings will be deletedwhen you click Uninstall plugin. If you are merely re-installing, do NOT check this boxto keep your stripes and settings.

Disabling/Enabling For Individual Posts/PagesYou can also disable, enable or override the default stripe for each page. To do that,edit your post or page. On the right column, there will be a new Pm Side Stripe box.Choose the stripe, or disable here.
Additional Notes
If mode is turned OFF, default/disable will mean the stripe is off and you can selectthe one you want to display on this page only.
If mode is turned ON, default will show the stripe you selected in the defaults tab inthe settings. Disable will turn the stripe off and choosing a stripe will override thedefault.
