Sierra Europe is proud to present the brand new baler for ELV and ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metal: Sierra S5 EVOLUTION.

This model contains the Sierra experience in baler construction and selling and features authentic innovative characteristics that will mark a new standard on ELV and scrap baler market. The extreme strength of structure linked to a fluid operability and speed of work cycle makes the new S5 Evolution a key partner in the scrapyard daily job.

Due to the reinforced box walls, the extra-cylinder on lids and the careful research on strengthening of structural key points, the S5 Evolution is the greatest R(E)volution in scrap processing market.




TECHNICAL FEATURES

The S5 Evolution is the best baler to process:

End Life Vehicle: thanks to the widest box opening of its category and to the lids and main cylinders pushing power, it’s able to compact medium and large dimension cars and also vans.

General Scrap: the easiness of loading by crane makes the S5 Evolution the right model to process mixed scrap on daily scrapyard job. The design of box allows to process also wide dimension scrap.

The technical features of S5 Evolution bring this model to the top of market:

200 tons push power lids with 3 cylinders: thanks to the high pushing force, the 3 cylinders allow the lids to reduce the large and resistant material while closing the box, increasing the productivity considerably.

155 tons axial cylinder: the axial cylinder, retracting for transportation, bales the material producing a bale with ideal dimensions and density.

Innovative position of lid cylinders: the great innovation in S5 Evolution project is the position of lid cylinders that allow to focus the strongest power where the material conveys the higher pressure on side walls, so on the end of axial cylinder stroke.

Protection of wear parts during the baling cycle: box closing system has been conceived to protect the hinges during the baling cycle, assuring efficiency and low wear of important parts of machine.

High productivity → 1 bale in 60 seconds: it’s not just the efficiency of machine to hit the users, but also the incredible productivity. The speed of movement of all parts allow to produce one bale in one minute.




OPTIONAL AND CONFIGURATIONS

The S5 EVOLUTION meets all different scrapyard needs thanks to its wide configurations and optional

catalogue. In fact, the baler can be with or without bale ejection door, fix or mounted on trailer, featuring

or not crane and cabin. Moreover, both the remote control and the remote assistance system by Sierra can

be installed.

STANDAR MODEL

The model without ejection door has a faster time cycle and needs a crane to manage the bale after the

process. This is the standard configuration for the S5 model.




MODEL WITH BALE EJECTION DOOR

The basic characteristics of the machine are the same as the previous model but the configuration with

bale ejection door allow to optimize the handling by the crane during the process. This is the best seller of

range.




CABIN AND CRANE MODEL / TRAILER MODEL

The baler can be equipped with crane and cabin, trailer or both if the process needs it. On the option list

there is also the adapter for the roll-on / roll-off system.
