Export event coordinated by Potato Council and HDC – divisions of the Agriculture and Horticulture Development Board (AHDB)
Messe Berlin, Germany, 4-6 February 2015Information and Stand Booking FormPotato Council and HDC are coordinating the GB exports trade area at this key international vegetable and fruit trade event: Fruit Logistica 2015.
For the past five years, AHDB, through its Potato Council and now its’ HDC divisions, has presented a successful stand at this event and will once again present the impactful AHDB exports presence.
The stand is co-located with other GB potato, horticultural and science exhibitors to build the GB export presence at this huge event and GB seed potato, seed export, horticultural growers
and other associations have an opportunity to take a branded presence on the stand.
We’d like to invite you to co-exhibit at this event.We are offering 10 co-exhibitor branded pods in the GB stand area coordinated by Potato Council and HDC. If sufficient demand does not exist for stands, then we reserve the right not to proceed with co-stands.
Deadline for co-exhibitor applications Fri 21 Nov 2014: Fruit Logistica is unquestionably one of the strongest international fresh produce marketing and trade events and stands need to be booked promptly.
Seed Potato and Horticulture Export promotion overseas
For the past two years Potato Council and HDC have exhibited together on the GB stand at Fruit Logistica, This will be the Potato Council’s fifth year at the event. This collaborative approach offers British industry a stronger presence at events with increased networking opportunities, and creates a more attractive, engaging and interesting area for all the visitors to the GB stand.
Benefits of exhibiting: Potato Council and HDC will organise your Pod on the main stand, from design to build, will include you in international PR to attract journalists and visitors to the stand; nurture links with other related GB organisations in the planning of the stand. We will present an industry reception and provide hospitality on-stand for co-exhibitors and guests throughout the event in order for co-exhibitors to liaise with industry, potential customers and press at the event. Hotel rooms are pre-booked for exhibitors (although you must cover costs).
This opportunity offers a cost-effective trade and meetings platform for industry to promote GB seed and varieties and GB horticulture to the world.
Stand costs and benefits: Fully branded free-standing Pod in prime position next to visitor walk ways with touch-screen PC,
internet access, leaflet racks and visitor seating
Branding and listing in the Fruit Logistica brochure and associated PR
All-day hospitality on stand for exhibitors and their prospects
Professional design and build on stand
Stand support pre and during event
Two pre-reserved hotel rooms at a 3*** central Berlin hotel (note hotel, dinner and travel costs must be covered by exhibitor)
Branding included in all Potato Council and HDC publicity (web, press, social media)
Two exhibitor passes to event
Cost for AHDB co-exhibitors: £2,300 + VAT
AHDB stand cost offers significant savings on the basic Fruit Logistica package (2015 prices are €5132.60 EUR (excl. VAT) for a basic shell scheme stand on a row, excluding design, fittings, any hospitality or meeting facilities

Accommodation for booked exhibitorsAn allocation of rooms has been pre-booked by Potato Council and HDC and enables co-exhibitors to take up to two rooms per exhibitor. Accommodation is already sold out in some Berlin hotels due to the size and popularity of this event. NB: Hotel payments should be made direct to hotel/hotel agent by the exhibitor.
