The First Round Competition was held on 17 November (Sat) at HKBU to select the top four teams to compete in the Final Round Competition. Sixteen teams’ performances were evaluated by a judging panel of business veterans. Supported by LimeHK (a local startup accelerator), the Final Round Competition was held in WeWork Causeway Bay (the most popular co-working space around the world) where provided a unique environment for HKBU students, as well as an opportunity for them to gain more real-life experience and to connect with the startup community. To make the competition more exciting, a “Comeback Challenge” was scheduled for the eliminated teams in the First Round Competition to have another chance, 1-minute pitching, to qualify for the Final Round Competition. Teams grabbed this opportunity to showcase their talents and compete for the last place. In the Final Round, five finalist teams of high potential students were pitching their business ideas to a panel of judges, including: 1. Prof. Ed SNAPE (Dean, School of Business) 2. Mr. Leo CHIU (Venture Partner, Spike Ventures) 3. Mr. Michael YIP (Co-founder, LimeHK) 4.
