specializing in executive recruitment and staffing solutions in Albuquerque and Santa Fe. His recent

industry experience includes hospitality and food services, financial services, non-profits, education,

Silas is a certified SPHR and SHRM-SCP. He is also an American Staffing Association designated CSP

(Certified Staffing Professional) and holds the PRC, CIR, ACIR, CSSR, and CDR certifications from AIRS, the

global leader in recruitment training. He is the current President of the Northern New Mexico Human

Resource Association and on the Board of Directors for the Santa Fe Chamber of Commerce.

Silas has a Master’s Degree in Eastern Philosophy. He enjoys trail running, backpacking and pretty much

anything else he can do outdoors. He lives in Santa Fe with his five-year old daughter.

He describes his talk as follows:

local companies and, in a general sense, what they're looking for in candidates. I'll also share

our perspective as to how job seekers can stand out from the crowd at our firm and get

A training session on Medicaid Centennial Care is scheduled to be held Monday April 13, 2015,

from 10:00am - noon in Taos, at the Taos County Court House, 105 Albright St., in the

Commission Chambers Room. The training is part of an effort by the NM Human Services

Department (HSD) in establishing the NM Independent Consumer Support System (NMICSS)

which links together resources throughout the state to assist Centennial Care enrollees

receiving long-term services and supports. The training, presented by HSD and hosted by the

Aging & Long-Term Services Department (ALTSD) is geared towards staff and volunteers from

senior centers, meal sites, multi-generational centers, adult day care programs, nursing homes,

independent living centers and others providing resources and services to New Mexico

Medicaid clients.

ALTSD is a partner organization in the NMICSS and is assisting with resource development and

MISSION: The Network is an inclusive, multidisciplinary collaboration of providers and

organizations dedicated to strengthening services and interagency response to reduce the

incidence of sexual assault and domestic violence in local and tribal communities in New

Mexico. The mission of the Network will be accomplished through information and resource

sharing; cross-training; identifying gaps and critical needs; fostering new partnerships; and

collaborating and supporting legislative efforts.

The Steering Committee for the Network is a core volunteer team of representatives of the

Network. The Network Steering Committee is seeking a skilled meeting coordinator/facilitator

to coordinate and lead the Network meetings. The Steering Committee is seeking an individual

profits, state and local governments including law enforcement, prosecution and service

delivery programs.

The Network meets 4 times per year (time commitment 8:30-1:30) and averages 40-60

participants per meeting. In addition, there is one annual strategic planning (time commitment

9:30-2:30) meeting with the Steering Committee to develop topics/presenters for the coming

year’s agendas.

Time commitment averages 10 hours/month which includes preparation, wrap up, and the five

meetings per year listed above. The contract is $3,500 ($700 per meeting) and is funded by the
