Notice of Water Main Flushing Mar. 14 ‐ Apr. 8Please be advised that the City of Duncan is conducting its annual water main flushing between March 14 and April8, 2016, which will affect all users of the City of Duncan water system. This flushing is done to ensurethe continued supply of safe drinking water. Portions of this work will be conducted during the early morninghours in an attempt to minimize any inconvenience. Apr. 1The Union of BC Municipalities (UBCM), the Ministry of Jobs, Tourism and Skills Training and the BC Economic Development Association(BCEDA) are partnering together for a study looking at trends in local‐level economic development in B.C. Previously conducted by UBCM in2009, this year's survey will allow for a longitudinal comparison of the local economic development landscape in B.C., and will provideinsight into the opportunities, challenges and unique activities being undertaken across the province.
