Silverzone Foundation is happy to announce the Merit-cum-Means Scholarship for Girls (SMMSG), for the year 2020-21.Under SMMSG, the Foundation will award onetime scholarships of Rs. 5000/- to 100 students (girls) in India who are meritorious and belong to economically weaker section of the society.

SELECTION CRITERIA1. For consideration under SMMSG, a proposal from the school recommending

a student ( girl only) has to be sent to the Foundation.2. Proposal should be signed by the school Principal/Head Master/Head Mistress only.4. Proposalshouldbeinthespecifiedformat(enclosed)andcompleteinallrespects/withrequired

attachments.5. The girl must be the student of the school ( studying at present) recommending her.6. Sheshouldhavescoredatleast60%marksorequivalentgradeinpreviousclass.Theschool

shouldsendacopyofherpreviousyear’sreportcarddulycertifiedbythePrincipal.7. The family income of the recommended student should not be more than Rs. 15000/- per month.8. The proposals to be considered under SMMSG must reach the Foundation on or before 31st

October, 2020.9. All the proposals received by the Foundation will be put forth before a special committee,

formed by the Silverzone Foundation for the purpose.10. TheselectionanddecisionoftheCommitteeisfinalandbinding.11. RecipientsoftheSMMSGwillbenotifiedindividuallyandthroughrespectiveschools.12. All or any dispute in this regard will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Delhi.

IMPORTANT FEATURES1. SMMSG is an annual scholarship, open for the students of class 2-12.2. The scheme is open for girl child only, covering her one academic year.3. Under the scheme 100 deserving girl students will be selected pan India.4. The selection of the students will be done from the recommendations sent by schools only.5. Each selected student will be awarded a scholarship of Rs. 5000/- to support her formal

education.6. Thescholarshipamount (cheque) in favorof theselectedstudentwillbedispatchedather

school address only.7. The Foundation will release the scholarship amount by 28th February, 2021.
