Tisztelettel meghívjuk Önt a Simonyi BEDC vállalkozói ökoszisztémájának Vállalkozás Inkubációs Plat-from (The Entrepreneurship Incubation Platform – TEIP) eseményére, mely a Pécsi Tudományegyetem Közgazdaságtudományi Karán 2014. december 10-én kerül megrendezésre. Az eseményen résztvevők, végezvén a 14 hetes ötlet- és üzleti projektfejlesztést célzó inkubációs programokon, teret kapnak további vállalkozói lehetőségek feltárására, kiaknázására. A december 10-i TEIP esemény keretében kettő pro-gramunkon végzett egyének záró prezentációját hallhatjuk. A programok:

PTE Faculty of Business and Economics B323We have the honor and pleasure of inviting you to the first event of The Entrepreneurship Incubation Platform (TEIP) of the Simonyi BEDC ecosystem, which will be held at the Faculty of Business and Economics of the University of Pécs on December 10th, 2014. The day marks an important stage of the innovation life cycle of the projects and participants of our ecosystem. The event has the goal of “TEIP-ing” projects and participants: accelerating synergy, relationship building, integration of innovation projects and knowledge networks at vari-ous stages of their life cycle. “TEIP” is an integrating platform bringing together project participants and the projects of two major 14 week long programs running every fall and spring at the University. December 10th will be integrating the closing events of the two major programs:

1. The Idea Outlet competition which is the closing event of the Simonyi Enterpreneurship Development Platform and

2. The Simonyi Internationalization Business Plan Competition, which is the closing event of the Simonyi Growth Program.

Benkő Vilmos

From Texas, he moved to Hungary to develop real estate ventures and helped build Euronet from a sleepy start-up company to become Central Europe’s NASDAQ success story. He is President of the American Hungarian Chamber of Commerce; a board member of Entrepre-neur Foundation Hungary, a board member of the Fulbright Foundation; a supervisory board member for Csodalampa, the Hungarian equivalent of USAs Make-A-Wish Foundation. Ad-ditionally, he was selected as a Hungarian Talent Ambassador in 2013

A passionate and frequent public speaker, Mr. Benko introduced Toastmasters to Hungary, which now is 5 chapters strong and counts 120 members. He has coached politicians, busi-ness leaders, students and inmates on the power of public speaking. He also launched a public speaking program for the prison system in Budapest, and is active in coaching Subject Matter Experts to help them develop their skills and strengths. Mr. Benko also is committed to improving the lives of young people throughout the world. He has coached and mentored hundreds of youth to help them develop self-esteem and a life plan. He is fluent in English and Hungarian.

Mr. William Benko is an entrepreneur, a sought-after public speaker, a coach, and philanthropist. But most im-portantly, he is a devout person who believes in leading by example.

Mr. Benko lives in Budapest, Hungary where he is in-volved in healthcare; a rapeseed-based oil company in East Hungary; a primary care clinic in Budapest and is co-launching a software company in the United States focused on artificial intelligence. He is also involved in other start-up ventures mentoring the founders. When’s he’s not building companies, he’s building people by help-ing them “raise their sails.”

After graduating from the University of Colorado in Boulder, Colorado USA in 1982, he lived and worked in Texas.

Czirják László

gary). Earlier in his career in New York, Mr. Czirjak served as a Director at the Bridgeford Group and at IBJ Schroder Bank, US investment banking subsidiaries of the Industrial Bank of Japan. He has held positions at Goldman Sachs (in M&A and Project Finance) and in op-erations management at Chemical Bank. Mr. Czirjak served on the boards (or other similar governing bodies) of each of iEurope fund’s portfolio companies including ATech, Vatera, Kupi Me and others. He is a former member of the Board of Directors, and Chairman of the Board’s Audit Committee, of MOL Rt., the Hungarian Oil and Gas Company that is publicly traded on several European exchanges. He also served on the CEE advisory board of AES Hungary (subsidiary of NYSE AES Corp). He also currently sits on the local CEE advisory Committee of Euro-Phoenix Financial Advisors. He is a former President of the American Chamber of Commerce in Hungary and is still active as Chairman of its Corporate Govern-ance, Business Integrity and Entrepreneurship Committee, where he co-authored a position paper titled “Good Corporate Governance in Hungary” and a Hungarian English Glossary on relevant terminology. Mr. Czirjak is currently Chairman of the Board of United Way Resource Foundation in Hungary and is President of the Columbia University and Business School Clubs of Hungary. He is a Board member of the Hungarian American Fulbright Commission. He received a MBA and BS in Industrial Engineering, both with honors, from Columbia University in New York..

Laszlo Robert Czirjak, in Hungary since 1992, was born and educated in the U.S. His venture capital, private eq-uity, investment banking and operational experience spans e-commerce, Internet, automotive and transport, financial services, consumer and retail, energy and pow-er, health care, manufacturing, technology, business ser-vices, and media and telecom. Prior to founding iEurope, he was a Managing Director at Bankers Trust Company/BT Alex Brown in London, where he built the regional investment banking business in six countries in Southern Central and Eastern Europe from 1991-1998.

He led over 20 major M&A and restructuring assign-ments involving over $1.5 billion and 24 significant debt and equity financings totaling over $3.2 billion. He ad-vised on, sourced and executed various private equity transactions. He was CEO of Bankers Trust Rt. (Hun-

Fodor Imre

Imre Fodor was graduated at University of Pécs, Major in Management and Consult-ing, and during the university years, got the Small Business Consulting Diploma, Case Western Reserve University, USA, and have the opportunity of a Scholarship at Univer-sity of Calgary, courses of Management consulting.

His professional life started within the family business and still supporting the Mevid corporation and be a Member of the Board. After graduation at the first six years AAM Ltd. was the professional cradle, where Imre built the funds of his expertise step-by-step, project-by-project, and become part of the managing staff in the 5th year.

After leaving AAM, in 2008, Imre founded Bancard to have the chance for the empow-erment to build his own consulting company. From the early years project (staffed by two founder members) Bancard revenue shows an average 30% growth YoY, and the company proved to be serious partner for the largest companies in great variation of the business and consulting technics with the support of the senior staff.

In 2014 – in accordance with the strategic plans – Bancard completed the first IT devel-opment project and successfully took the first steps to international markets, and last but not least become a supporter of the Simony Beds development.

Imre Fodor is co-founder and director of Bancard Consulting Ltd. Bancard Ltd. is a strategic consult-ing company working for the corporate and banking sector on strategic business development projects. Bancard team has several competences i.e. business modelling and analyses, sales, marketing, business processing and IT development and also experienced in building and supporting full lifecycle of different projects or products, from the idea to the implemen-tation.

Horgos Lénárd

M27 ABSOLVO the Hungarian affiliate of the M27 AB-SOLVO Group that is present in numerous Europe coun-tries is focusing on the internationalization of companies by supporting their international market activities along with the provision of complex advisory services I the field of financing.

The core consulting activities of M27 ABSOLVO are fo-cusing on the involvement of private equity, venture cap-ital investment, strategic investment and also business planning.

Lenard Horgos, managing partner of M27 ABSOLVO is the graduate of Economics Univer-sity of Budapest, he is expanding his professional competences in universities located in the United States.

With a couple years of experience in the IT market he has shifted his activities towards con-sulting and corporate finance in 2004 that has resulted in the managing of Hungarian office of M27 ABSOLVO since 2008. During an almost decade long consulting experience he has participated in more than 150 projects in the field of corporate financing. He has published professional articles in business journals and magazines, he is also a frequent invited speaker at the Engineering University of Budapest in the subject of finance, active member of the Hun-garian Private Equity and Venture Capital Association.

Horváth Balázs

Balazs Horvath is co-founder and director of Bancard Consulting Ltd. Bancard is dedicated to provide man-agement level advisory help for building new business, re-organising existing models. The company can give full picture to their partners from strategical view through business planning, organisational and flow descriptions to implementation.

Balazs is proud of their senior consultant team - as they together can represent a nice variety of competence in banking, payment, loyalty and telecom business lines as well as in government sector, and having years of experi-

ence and knowledge in analysing, planning, organising, and implementing business flows and IT systems. He has graduated in College of Finance on Banking and spent the first 15 working years in different financial institution in different roles.

From the position of treasury analyst to financial planner, designing corporate and retail prod-ucts he collected experiences in internal flow organisation and profitability planning, as head of the largest credit card business in Hungary he turned to a payment expert in CE-Europe.

With his advisory work he is dedicated to help implementing high quality services and prod-ucts and engaged to share the best practice and knowledge through the support of Simonyi-Beds programs.

Németh András

Andras is also a Member of Board of Directors at Simonyi BEDC Business Cluster, fostering an innovation ecosystem in close coopertion with the PTE KTK and the Simonyi Business and Economic Development Center to facilitate the commercialization of great ideas, innovative projects.

As a certified FIBA Agent, Andras is also a Managing Partner for Mansfield & Associates Sports, which is a licensed FIBA and FIFA players’ agency placing talented basketball and soc-cer players throughout the world.

Andras is an active entrepreneur having interest in several successful businesses in the fields of education, coaching and project management and as an expert of NGO regulations, he is a devoted supporter of foundations.

András Németh is a practicing attorney at Németh and Tímár Attorneys at Law [NEST], a general practice law firm having offices at Pécs and Budapest.

As a PTE alumni started professional career at Pécs with an emphasis on corporate law, commercial law, civil liti-gation, tax law and real estate transactions representing mostly SMEs.

To offer full scale services to the clients and better coordi-nation in decisions with a financial effect, the partners at NEST Attorneys established an in-house accounting di-vision with a separate legal entity, called Bloom Hill Kft.

Bob Mansfield

Bob is also the Managing Partner for Mansfield & Associates Sports. Mansfield Sports is a fully licensed FIBA and FIFA player agency placing top class basketball and soccer players around the world. He has worked in Hungary and Serbia for the Simonyi Consulting Center, focusing on entrepreneurship, commercialization and innovation.

Bob has been elected and serves as a Board Member At-Large for the American Chamber of Commerce in Hungary. AmCham is a non-governmental, non-political and financially inde-pendent organization representing the interest of its close to 400 members. Bob has earned a BA in European History with a focus International Business Consulting from Ohio University.

Bob Mansfield is the Director of European Search for Mansfield & Associates. Three years ago he brought Mansfield & Associates, an American Executive Search firm, to the European market via Budapest.

He is now responsible for, expanding, and directing all of Mansfield & Associates International offices which include Budapest, Manchester; UK, Freiburg; Germany, Vilnius; Lithuania, Skopje; Macedonia, Madrid; Spain and Sydney; Australia reporting to the CEO at US Cor-porate HQ’s. Before his position in Europe, he was the Recruitment Manager at the Cleveland, Ohio office for 4 years.
