Connecting a serial scanner will provide retailers the ability to scan items. Items scanned in registration and not found in the file can be added at that time. The SR series machines can scan UPC and EAN 8/13 barcodes (price / weight encoded codes will not scan). Age verification is available for age sensitive items.
