ABSTRACT
INTRODUCTION
CONCLUSIONS AND RECOMMENDATION
SIMULATION MODEL APPROACH TO DEVELOP WAREHOUSE AT FACTORY by ARENA simulation system
MUHAMMAD ANUAR BIN MD ISA (UNIVERSITI MALAYSIA PAHANG) Supervisor EN.WAN MUHAMMAD NOOR SARBANI BIN MAT DAUD
by using simulation model the efficiency in warehouse at factory can be improve and the warehouse design can be enhance. In
this research the location involve for this project is warehouse factory at Worldwater Network Sdn Bhd located at Jaya Gading
Kuantan. The research is focused in warehouse activities related the time and type of warehouse design to store the goods.
a) To determine the efficiency time in
warehouse to store goods.
b) To develop the simulation model to
enhance warehouse design at factory
OBJECTIVE/S
RESULTS
From the study, by using the ARENA simulation the research model the aspect in warehouse take effect with the warehouse
operation some of not so that the efficiency time in warehouse can be control by the appropriate system that simulate and the
design for warehouse can be improve by the simulation model. After experimentation in the ARENA model, the
recommendation suggested in this study which are adding the one loading dock in the warehouse area so that can minimized
time for truck loading the goods into warehouse and change the rack type for goods storage which is from back push rack to
Carton Live storage. So that can make the warehouse more efficient to handle the goods.
