MANUFACTURINGBack in 1979, RAM Tool had a progressive approach to detail and a slogan, “When you’re in a jam, see RAM” which is a tradition that is still applied today. We are truly a full-service facility that is your single source from

start to finish.

Our greatest asset over the competition is that we will keep your job in-house, maintain control over accuracy, progress, and final results. We have the proper equipment to handle jobs as large as 20 tons with our 35 overhead cranes. This benefit will greatly reduce your overall cost and

delivery time.

CUSTOM MACHININGRAM Tool has the machining capabilities to take a job of any size, to meet your deadline, and produce a high-quality tool that will exceed your expectations. The variety of equipment under one roof, at our disposal allows us to utilize a number of different machining practices, using the best process to complete your job. With our state of the art DMG 5-Axis High Speed Machining Center, as well as our OKK and Niigata High Speed Pallet Machining Centers, we have the ability to complete high-volume

jobs to meet your deadline.

With Kuraki Boring Bars, OKK CNC Machining Centers, Proto Traks and Surface Grinders we have the capability to handle any job, large or small. Our Kuraki Boring Bars and OKK Vertical Machining Centers are equipped with 1000 PSI High Pressure Chip Blaster units for high speed machining and drilling. This gives us the ability to drill H-13 in excess of 60 inches per minute. Our belief in having a variety of manufacturing equipment allows us to continue to be an industry leader in Manufacturing and

Custom Machining.

ENGINEERING / DESIGNOur Engineering & Design team utilizes a vast assortment of softwareto create exactly what you need, we believe there isn’t just one software that covers is all. When we begin a job, we match the software to the job. This allows us to build a part and/or die more efficiently, producing a less

expensive and more stable product.

EDM DEPARTMENTWe pride ourselves on working the job around the clock with accuracyand dependability. With EDM Sinkers and state of the art Mitsubishi Wire EDM’s, our EDM capacities give us the potential to complete the most intricate jobs, large or small. These fundamental machines, coupled with many years of expertise, give us the tools necessary to complete any job

on time and on budget.

INSPECTION DEPARTMENTAt RAM Tool quality is our highest priority and is second to none. Staying ahead with the latest innovations in inspection technology, RAM Tool can provide our customers with a complete inspection package. Today we are using both PC-DMIS and Metris software packages on our Brown and Sharpe CMM Machines. With the ability of Laser Scanning and using our constant touch probe, we are able to produce a color map scan that is easy to understand, but reveals unparalleled accuracy. In addition to traditional inspection, our Laser Scanning capability gives us the abilityto take Point Cloud data and reverse engineer a part, or machine directlyfrom STL files that we create in house.
