Singapore, officially the Republic of Singapore, is a southeast Asian city-state
off the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, 137 kilometers north of the
equator.
It is made up of 63 islands.
Buddhism is the most widely practiced religion in Singapore, (33%). Next
most practiced religion is Christianity, followed by Islam, Taoism and
Hinduism. 17% of the population have no religious affiliation.
Singapore has four official languages: English, Chinese, Malay and Tamil.

subjects at the secondary level. The core subjects include
