Singapore Zoo• Park Experience• Since 1973, Singapore Zoo has been known for having among the most beautiful

wildlife park settings in the world, where animals roam freely in open and naturalistic habitats.

• Nine-time winner of the coveted Best Leisure Attraction Experience award by the Singapore Tourism Board, our 26-hectare wildlife park is nestled within the lush Mandai rainforest that stretches into the magnificent Upper Seletar Reservoir. More than 2,800 animals representing over 300 species of mammals, birds and reptiles call Singapore Zoo home.

• Giraffe Feeding• Many of our animal habitats incorporate special viewing features such as elevated

platforms to view our giraffe exhibit, underwater galleries to see the watery worlds of our otters, pygmy hippos and giant estuarine crocodiles, as well as glass observatories to see animals such as the predatory cheetahs and lions. On top of the fascinating perspective of the animals, you get to view them in environments that have been thoughtfully built and landscaped after their habitats in the wild.

Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia

• Our award-winning park is also big on immersive experiences. Whether you travel onboard one of our guided trams or trek on foot at your own leisurely pace, your experience will take you through some of the most distinctive global wildlife habitats of the world - from the savannah grasslands of Wild Africa where lions, zebras and rhinoceroses roam, to the rugged canyons of the Great Rift Valley of Ethiopia where our colony of Hamadryas baboons call home.

Elephants at Work and Play Show• But your experience doesn’t just stop there. Singapore Zoo’s animal shows like the

Elephants at Work and Play Show have long been popular with families and our daily token feeding session give you the opportunity to see our residents at their most active.

• Singapore Zoo is also a Learning Zoo - where the guest experience involves understanding the animals at a deeper level through well-designed and interactive educational displays. As a result of our extensive wildlife research programmes and collaborative efforts with the global community, the Singapore Zoo has been taking important strides in furthering our key goal to preserve biodiversity. Guided by our wildlife conservation policy, our successful animal breeding programme continues to see numerous significant births of endangered animals year after year.

• Wildlife conservation and the preservation of biodiversity are goals we have made ours – to take with us as we create a world where more will be inspired to learn, appreciate and respect the animals, with whom we share our planet.

• Over 1.6 million visitors come to Singapore Zoo every year. We’d love to see you soon!

Frozen Tundra• Chill out at the Frozen Tundra, the newest exhibit in Singapore Zoo that is the

size of 2.5 basketball court put together.• Built to resemble the arctic habitat, the Frozen Tundra has a cool temperature,

an ice cave with a waterfall, and a large pool filled with giant ice blocks.• Inuka, our locally-born polar bear, is the star of the Frozen Tundra. From the

viewing gallery in the frozen tunnel, check out how our playful Inuka swim in the cool pool, or even chill in the ice-cold cave!

• While you’re here at the Frozen Tundra, remember to say “hi!” to Inuka’s new neighbours!

• Watch out for Boris and Ivana, our fearless wolverines that are slightly different from your Marvel superhero character. And don’t miss Pom and Poko, our raccoon dogs from Japan.

Plus, remember to join them in their daily token feeding sessions at 10am, 1pm, and 4pm!

Treetop trail• Being the first immersive experience that welcomes every visitor at

Singapore Zoo, this zone begins at the Rainforest Courtyard right at the entrance of the park leading on to an elevated platform through the forest canopy, a pathway that brings visitors closer to nature and its wildlife.

• The sun-drenched recreation of a clearing in the depths of a rainforest, the lush plantings of trees, a cascading waterfall as well as a jungle pond are home to a group of rainforest animals. You may not spot them right away, so take your time as you make your way to the Treetops Trail ahead.

• Do also keep your eyes peeled for the free-ranging brown lemurs and the white faced saki monkeys who may surprise you by swinging by to join in the fun. Just a note of caution though, the elusive false gavial may be lurking beneath the boardwalks, so beware!

Cat Country• The fairest of them all• White tigers are one of the star attractions at our Zoo because of their rarity and uncommon beauty.

With their blue eyes, pink noses, and creamy white fur covered with brown stripes, these giant cats are truly a cat-tivating sight!

• Our white tiger habitat is landscaped to resemble a dense jungle clearing. Here, our felines, Omar and Winnie, can often be seen strolling about or lounging in the shady spots. The moat separating visitors from the tigers also serves a second purpose as a wet playground since white tigers are one of the few wild cats that love swimming. You may just be lucky enough to catch our white tigers taking a dip in the waters on a hot day!

• See, feel, hear, touch, save the tiger• The white tiger exhibit at the Zoo features an interactive centre that puts the world of the tiger

within a child’s reach – most of our displays and interactive buttons are low enough for the little ones to press, read, listen to, see and touch.

• Learn about Mohan, the first white tiger caught from the wild, the ancestor of all white tigers in existence today. Find out what happened to the last tiger to ever roam the jungles of Singapore and discover why tigers are fast disappearing. As you earn your stripes as a tiger expert, find out how you can save the tiger too by contributing to Singapore Zoo’s tiger conservation efforts.

• Watch as our tigers leap up to catch their meaty treats with their 3-inch teeth in mid-air during one of our most exciting token feeding session at 2.20pm daily!
