FADE IN:  EXT. HOUSTON INTERSECTION Huge intersection. Lot of tourists are walking aroundchatting. We can see a hooded man walk through the crowd.He stops at the side of the crossroad and looks up at thesky. Now we can clearly see it is AXLE, around hismid-30's, pale red skin, huge husky figure. He smiles. 

AXLEThe game is on!

 Axle throws his ax up into the sky. It almost disappearsfrom sight, when all of a sudden it explodes, leaving ahuge amount of smoke behind, that forms a countdown timer.It starts to count back from 24 hours.  EXT. PAYPHONE - MORNING Axle is calling someone on a payphone. An FBI workeranswers. 

FBI WORKER 1(over phone)

Hello? 

AXLEGo and look outside the window.

 FBI WORKER 1

Excuse me? 

AXLEJust go and look outside thewindow!

 FBI HEADQUARTERS

 The FBI worker walks over to the window and looks throughit. He can clearly see the countdown on the sky. As hecontinues staring at timer he holds the phone next to hisear. 

FBI WORKER 1What is this?

 AXLE

That's how much time you havebefore it's game over, for yourworld. That's how much time youhave, before I WIN!

Axle ends the call. The worker looks at the phone weirdly. 

FBI WORKER 1What the hell was that?

  INT. ETHAN'S ROOM - MORNING ETHAN, 16 year old, thin, nerdy teenager wakes up in a bigluxurious bedroom. He slowly stands up and walks over tothe kitchen. There's nobody inside the entire house. 

ETHANHello? Anyone here?

 Silence. On the table we can see Ethan's phone. It startsto ring. Ethan answers the call. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)Hello?

 VIOLET

(over phone)Ethan, it's me Violet. Somethingterrible has happened.

  INT. MARTIN'S ROOM - NIGHT 3 days earlier, inside a really dark and filthy room, dimlylit, only by the computer that is standing on a brown grimytable, MARTIN, mid-20's nervous and disturbed, computeraddicted, clumsy and fat man is pressing the keyboards,playing with a game. The hero he uses as his avatar isAxle, the same character, that just gave the FBI anultimatum. 

MARTINYes! Yes!!!

 Another hero, unexpectedly slaughters Martin's avatar. 

MARTIN (CONT'D)NO!!! This can't be! You stupidplayer! This game is crap!

 Martin starts smashing the keyboard with his fists in hisanger. Suddenly the computer's monitor turns black. 

MARTIN (CONT'D)What the bloody hell justhappened?

 We can see a husky red figure slowly appearing behindMartin. As his outlines start to draw we notice it's Axle,

Martin's avatar, who now starts to slowly approach Martinfrom behind. Martin notices him and turns around. We cansee the terror spreading on his chubby face, as it turnspale. 

AXLEHello!

(low and calm voice) Martin starts screaming.  INT. DIMITRI'S HOUSE - DAY Huge living room filled with expensive, nice lookingfurniture. Inside of the room, under a chandelier, there isa round wooden table. Dimitri (Ethan only having a different identity) and hismom Sarah, mid-30's, shapely, beautiful and confidentwomen, are sitting at the table, arguing. 

DIMITRIOh, come on mom! You can't beserious! Why do we always have toleave places this way?

 SARAH

Do you think I want it to be likethis? This whole ... nightmarecomes with my work!

 DIMITRI

Look mom, I finally managed tomake friends with people here. NowI have to start everything againonly to leave the next town aftera few weeks as well?

 SARAH

I'm really sorry Ethan. 

DIMITRIMom, please! I don't want to leavethis place!

 SARAH

(starting to get angry)Well, I'm really sorry, but thisis not something that I'll askyour permission for!

DIMITRIAwesome! Okay, you know what? Youwin! Just please let me saygoodbye to my friends.

 CLAIR

You won't get to say goodbye,because we will have to pretendthat we are dead, and get a newidentity before we move onto thenext town.

 DIMITRI

What? 

CLAIRThis is the only way for us to besafe!

 DIMITRI

(really mad)Great! Thanks a lot mom! You didan awesome job on messing up mylife once again!

 Dimitri thunders up the stairs. He smashes in his door.Clair sighs sorrowfully.  INT. FBI HEADQUARTERS - NIGHT In a huge white room, filled with tones of desktops, fourpeople are sitting at different computers, when all of asudden, one of them notices something weird on one of thecameras. A figure with a red skin and a black beard ismoving on the monitor. He is holding an ax. They alsonotice a MAN around his 40's, wearing a working suit, mostlikely a businessman, walking on the streets towards thered figure. When he gets close enough to him, the devilishcharacter swings his ax and removes the man's head from hisbody. The people at the FBI watch the monitor in horror. 

FBI WORKER 1What just happened?

  EXT. HOUSTON STREET - NIGHT A reconnaissance party is sent out on the street where theman was just seen brutally murdered. Surprisingly, by thetime it arrives, both the man and the figure havedisappeared.

INT. MARTIN'S ROOM - NIGHT Martin is messing with his computer's cables trying to fixit, but he is clearly making everything worse. Axunexpectedly appears behind him. Martin spots him. 

MARTIN(in terror)

What the... What are you doinghere again? Why are youcontinuously trying to scare thecrap out of me?

 AXLE

All I want is to help you! 

MARTIN(angrily)

You can start helping me bygetting the hell out of my house!

 Martin turns back to his computer's cables, but stilldoesn't make any progress. Axle sighs. 

AXLEWant me to help you?

 MARTIN

Well ... If you can. Axle steps over to the cables and with a few quick, butsteady moves he fixes the computer. Martin's mouth dropsopen in his astonishment. Axle turns around and looks himin the eye. 

AXLEAnything else?

  INT. AIRPORT - DAY People are wondering around the airport. Dimitri and hismom are desperately trying to break through the crowd.Dimitri's mom hands him over a fake passport and id. 

CLAIR(whispers)

From now on you're Ethan Chase andI'm Sarah Chase.

 Ethan sighs. They arrive to the entrance of the airplaneand hand over their fake ID to the inspector. He examinestheir passport and ID closely and gives it back to them.Then he lets them enter the plane.

5.

EXT. AIRSTRIP - DAY The plane takes off. When the path ends it goes flying upinto the bright blue sky.  INT. ETHAN'S NEW HOUSE - NIGHT Ethan and Clair walk inside the entrance of Ethan's newhouse. The room is empty. Only the ceiling and the wallspainted white can be seen. The now called Ethan and his momSarah opens the door and walks inside the house. Ethanstarts looking around. He looks pretty impressed. 

ETHANNot so bad after all...

 SARAH

See! You don't have to be sopessimistic!

 Ethan walks away. Sarah stays in the entrance. She is alsoimpressed. Ethan calls over to his mom from another room. 

ETHANWhich one is my room?

 Sarah walks over to Ethan. She enters another big whiteroom, the only difference is that this one does havefurniture. At the side of the wall there stands a brownwooden bed. On the other side of the room we can see atable with a desktop and a lamp. In the middle of theceiling a beautiful, well-designed chandelier is hanging 

SARAHI suppose it's the one you'restanding in right now.

 ETHAN

Awesome! 

SARAHBut I also have a bad news.Tomorrow you'll have school justlike on any other ordinary day andthat also comes with going to bedearly...

 ETHAN

Seriously? Can't I have a littlemore time to go look around thehouse? I mean this place is hugeand I haven't even seen one thirdof it!

SARAHI'm sorry... You can still go lookaround tomorrow, but only afteryour school ended of course.

 ETHAN

(bored)Great...

  EXT. GAME WORLD - NIGHT In another realm, where everything is made of pixels, therestands a wooden house in the middle of the woods. From thewindow we can already see RYAN, mid-20's, in-gamecharacter. 

INSIDE RYAN'S HOUSE Ryan's house has a table and a furnace at the side. Next tothose lies a red bed. In the middle if the room there's aTV and a wooden chair, in which Ryan is sitting. He is watching the TV. Bell rings. 

RYANCan't they just leave me alone forone freaking day?

 Ryan reluctantly stands up and walks over to the door. Ashe opens it, he can see a MILITARY MAN, wearing a militaryuniform, standing at the door. 

MILITARY MANI would like to speak with RyanBrown.

 Ryan starts looking suspiciously at the man. 

RYANThat's me...

 MILITARY MAN

I'm afraid I have brought terriblenews this evening...

 RYAN

You're starting to scare me. 

MILITARY MANIt is that ... You're brother waskilled in action.

 Ryan freezes. He starts looking pale.

MILITARY MAN (CONT'D)I am terribly sorry for your losssir.

 Ryan doesn't answer. He continues to stare at the manperplexed. 

MILITARY MAN (CONT'D)I brought over some of his things.

 The military man hands over Ryan a box. 

MILITARY MAN (CONT'D)I have to go now, and again, I'mreally sorry for your loss.

 The man turns around and leaves. Ryan is now staring at thedoor, while he's holding the box in his hands tightly.  EXT. ETHAN'S SCHOOL - DAY The school is a vast red building.  INT. ETHAN'S SCHOOL - DAY Ethan walks into the school. As he starts walking throughthe corridor we can see all kinds of students living theirlife. A boy and a girl are kissing at the side of the wall.As Ethan continues walking we can see a boy taking out awater bottle from someone else's beg. Ethan sees this andstarts rolling his eyes.  INT. ETHAN'S CLASSROOM - DAY At every desk there's a student sitting, writing anassignment. Ethan walks into his classroom. Everyone looksat him. Ethan gets a little bit nervous. He finds an emptydesk where he decides to sit. Just as he removes hisschoolbooks from his bag and settles them on his table asthe TEACHER, around her mid 20's, confident women, entersthe room. She puts her bag on the table and looks at thestudents. 

TEACHERHello Class!

 CLASS

Hello Mrs. Ernest!

TEACHERSo! Before we start our work, Iwould like to introduce the newkid. Ethan, can you come outplease?

 Ethan nervously stands up and slowly starts to approach theteacher. When he finally gets there he starts staring atthe teacher. 

TEACHER (CONT'D)Can you turn around to face theclassroom?

 ETHAN

Um... sure! Ethan turns around. Now he is staring at the classroom. Oneof the students starts giggling. 

TEACHERSo... What can you say aboutyourself Ethan?

 ETHAN

Well... I... Um... Ethan spots a map and he can clearly see the wordAntarctica written on it. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)I came from Antarctica!

 People in the classroom start whispering. 

TEACHERReally? Oh and how was it upthere?

 ETHAN

It was... cold! The kids start laughing. 

TEACHERCan you be a little more specific?

 Ethan starts to get a little more confident. 

ETHANSure! I can even tell you guys astory!

 TEACHER

I'd love to hear that!

ETHANCool! So... It was a dark and coldwinter night at Antarctica. I waswalking at the edge of a frozensea, when I saw a little town. Itwas on fire...

 The kids in the room start whispering again. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)I ran over and amid the burningruins I saw hundreds of peoplerunning around like chickens...when they've seen a fox. I couldalmost feel the terror in theireyes! I knew I had to dosomething!

 As Ethan is telling his story the screen fades.  INT. SCHOOL DINING ROOM - DAY The floor is blue and the walls are painted white. In themiddle there are some tables loosely placed around theroom, for kids to eat their lunch there. Ethan walks insidewith a plate filled with spaghetti. He wonders around theroom, trying to find a table where he can sit at. He spotsa girl who is sitting alone at a table. He smiles and sitsnext to her. The girl called VIOLET, 16, thin young lady,looks at him. 

ETHANHello!

 VIOLET

Hi! They both start eating. 

ETHANI saw that you were sitting aloneand thought why not come over andtalk to you?

 VIOLET

That's nice... I guess. 

ETHANYou wanna drink something later?

 Suddenly BRANDON, also 16, big husky and strong boy with ashort black hair, sits next to Violet from the other side.

BRANDONHello Vi!

 VIOLET

Hi Brandon! Ethan's face turns pale. Violet notices this. 

VIOLET (CONT'D)Ethan, this is Brandon... myboyfriend.

 Ethan's face turns even paler. 

BRANDONHello...

 ETHAN

Um... Hello... Ethan starts looking around, trying to find any way he canescape his current, miserable situation. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)I have to go, bye!

 Ethan picks up his plate and walks over to another table. 

VIOLETThat was weird...

 BRANDON

Who was he? 

VIOLETHe is the new kid in our class.

 BRANDON

Yeah, right 舰… don't ever speak tohim again.

  INT. FBI HEADQUARTERS - DAY The people at the FBI are watching last night's recording,where the red creature, cut off the man's head. They tryclosing on to its face, but it has too much pixels, whichmakes the face unrecognizable. 

FBI WORKER 2I can't believe this!

11.

EXT. HOUSTON STREET - DAY It's an abandoned and smaller street of Houston. Ethan ison his way home and starts walking through the street. Allof a sudden 3 kids, around 16, who are strong and husky,stand in his way. One of them is Brandon. Fear quicklyspreads on Ethan's face. 

ETHAN(trying to stay calm)

What do you want? Brandon steps forward towards him. 

BRANDONStay away from her okay?

 Ethan doesn't understand what he's talking about. 

ETHANStay away from whom?

 BRANDON

My girlfriend you bastard! Violet!The girl you were talking to inthe dining room!

 Ethan starts to walk backwards slowly. A fourth kid, also16 and strong stands behind him, locking every way Ethancould possibly escape. Brand approaches him. 

BRANDON (CONT'D)(Shouting)

DO YOU UNDERSTAND? Brandon grab's Ethan's shirt and pushes him into the wall.Then he walks towards him again. Ethan is nervously lookingaround, trying to find any way to escape. Brandon puncheshim in the face. A green bruise is seen on Ethan's facefrom the punch. He starts to get a little dizzy. Brandonpulls him up. Ethan suddenly kicks him in the balls. Theother three becomes surprised. They didn't expect theirfriend to be humiliated this way. Ethan makes the most ofthe situation and sprints away from the street. He doesn'tstop until he is sure no one followed him. Then he stopsand continues the rest of his way home, walking.  EXT. RYAN'S HOUSE - NIGHT Ryan is sitting in his chair in front of the television. Hepicks up the remote and starts watching back a recording ofhim and his brother.

12.

On the TV the title "Fun with my brother" appears. Then thescreen fades in. We can see Ryan and his brother NORMAN, 14year old kid on the TV's screen. Norman is playing with his8-year-old brother in the snow. Ryan throws a snowball atNorman that happens to splash on his face. 

NORMANYou!!! Okay! You'll pay for this!

 Norman runs after Ryan and grabs him. He pulls him underthe snow. In the next footage, they are both a few years older. Nowthey are playing football. It is a bright summer day. Ryanscores a goal. 

RYANHurrah!!!

 Norman smiles. As Ryan is watching the television a tear drops from hiseyes. Flashback: We can see a bedroom appear on screen. There is a bed atthe side of the room. Ryan and Norman are sitting on thebed. Ryan is in a military uniform. 

RYAN (CONT'D)Please don't go!

 NORMAN

I have to! I have to help ourcountry against the warriors ofthe galaxy.

 RYAN

But, I don't want you to getkilled!

 NORMAN

Whatever happens, I will always bewith you!

 Flashback ends. Ryan cannot resist it anymore. He starts crying.

INT. ETHAN'S NEW HOUSE - NIGHT Ethan enters the house. Immediately, as he closes the doorbehind him he finds a letter on the floor. He picks it up.Ethan starts reading the letter in voice over. 

ETHAN (V.O.)Ethan, I'm really sorry, but it'snot likely for me to be hometonight before midnight. I knowthat this was I'll miss you'rebirthday and I'm really sorry forthat. I've ordered a cake for youand left it on the table. We cancelebrate your birthday tomorrow,unless you eat up all the cake! :DHappy Birthday, Mom.

 Ethan crumples the paper and throws it away. He walks intothe kitchen. The kitchen has really expensive furniture.The oven is made of marble. Just as the dining table. Ethanfinds a cake, neatly placed on it. He throws his bag andsits in front of the table.  INT. RYAN'S HOUSE - DAY Ryan switches off the television. Suddenly he hears noises,coming from the kitchen. He walks over and sees Axle. 

RYANWhat are you doing in my house?

 AXLE

It's time for us to begin! Ryan doesn't understand Axle. 

RYANWhat are you talking about? Do Iknow you?

 Axle takes a green ball out of his pocket and throws it atthe wall. It explodes creating a huge white glowing portal.The wind created by the portal infuses the room. It startsflattering Ryan's face. Axle pushes Ryan into the portal. 

RYAN (CONT'D)AH!!!

 Axle jumps after him. The portal closes with a bang.

14.

INT. ETHAN'S NEW HOUSE - NIGHT Ethan is sitting in front of his cake. He lit the candlesand now it is the only thing that currently illuminates theroom. We can clearly see that Ethan is unhappy. The bruisehe got from his fight earlier is becoming nastier. 

ETHANHappy birthday... Ethan.

 Ethan closes his eyes and blows the candles. Moments after,there's a bang coming from his room. 

RYANOuch!

 Ethan freezes. He slowly walks over to the room and peeksinside through the keyhole. He can't see anything. Heslowly opens into the room. He walks inside. Still nothing.He notices that the computer is turned on. 

ETHANWeird. I thought I turned thisoff.

 He turns off the computer and spins around. That is when hespots the tiny Ryan standing on the ground, looking up athim. He flinches. Suddenly the computer turns on by itselfand Axle walks out of it. Ethan stares at the huge Axle whois now walking towards him. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)This can't be normal!

 Axle looks at Ethan. He freezes. It looks like herecognized him. 

RYANYOU?

 Ethan continues staring at him. 

ETHANDo I know you?

 Ryan roars and flings his ax up into the air aiming forEthan's head. Ethan jumps out of the ax's way. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)This is clearly not normal!

 Suddenly Axle disappears. Ethan slowly stands up and looksaround. He can see that no one else is in the room now.

ETHAN (CONT'D)Oh boy, what was in that cake?

 He wants to walk out of his room, but before he could leavehe sees Ryan again. Ethan faints.  INT. ETHAN'S ROOM - DAY Ethan slowly wakes up. Ryan is standing above him. Ethanfreaks out. 

ETHANWHAT THE HELL ARE YOU?

 RYAN

Calm down... Just don't freak out! 

ETHANWhy shouldn't I freak out? You andthat bloody guy came out of myfreaking computer!

 Ethan sits up while he is speaking. 

RYANLook I don't know why I got here.One second I was in my kitchen andthe next moment I'm being pushedinto a portal and end up in aworld where I'm 2 inch-s tall!

 Ethan grabs Ryan by his head. 

RYAN (CONT'D)What are you doing? PUT ME DOWN!

 Ethan stands up while he is holding Ryan. 

ETHANI don't know what hellish creatureyou are, but it's clear that youcan't stay in this house anylonger!

 Ryan starts to frolic. 

RYANYou are totally insane!!!

 Ethan goes over to the entrance. He opens the door andhurls Ryan outside. Then he slams the door.

ETHANOkay, this is too much for oneday! I'm going to sleep.

 Ethan walks into his bedroom. 

INT. ETHAN'SBEDROOM - MORNING

 Ethan wakes up a little dizzy. He looks at his clock. It'shalf past seven in the morning. Ethan freezes. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)Damn it! I'll be late from school!

 He runs out of his room.  EXT. ETHAN'S GARDEN - MORNING Ethan sprints out of his house grabbing his bag as quicklyas he can. As he runs to the gate we can see Ryan runningafter him. He climbs into the bag while Ethan rushes to thegate. Ethan starts searching in his pocket, but can't seemto find his keys. 

ETHANShoot! I'll search for thoselater.

 Ethan climbs out threw the fence in a hurry.  INT. ETHAN'S CLASSROOM Ethan runs inside just as the school bell rings. 

ETHANYES! I did it!

 Ethan walks over to the table and puts his stuff down. Thenhe walks over to his cabinet where he wants to put his bagdown. As he throws it inside it swing open and Ethannotices Ryan. Ethan congeals. Ryan looks up at him. 

RYANOh... HI!

 Ryan smiles. 

ETHAN(whispers)

What are you doing here?

RYANI saw you were going somewhere andthought I will accompany you, soyou won't be that lonely!

 ETHAN

(whispers)Get out of here or, you'll ruin mywhole life!

 Brandon notices that Ethan is talking to someone. He smilesand takes out his phone. Then he starts recording Ethan.From his phone it seems like Ethan is talking to hiscupboard. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)You know what? Just stay here anddon't move!

 Ethan slams his cabinet and walks back to his seat.  INT. FBI HEADQUARTERS - DAY We can see people looking at the computers. Clair walksinto the FBI. 

CLAIRHello guys!

 EVERYONE ELSE

Hello Clair! Clair walks next to JACK, mid 30's man, short brown hair,muscular arms. 

CLAIRWhat are you guys working on?

 JACK

Look at this footage! Jack shows Clair the video they have recorded through thecameras. Clair looks perplexed. 

CLAIRThat was weird.

 JACK

It is really weird. Clair wants to walk away, but Jack stops her.

JACK (CONT'D)How was the moving in? How isEthan?

 CLAIR

Ethan is fine. Everything isgreat!

 JACK

I'm just glad you guys arealright. I can't believe thatserial killer you uncoveredescaped from prison!

 CLAIR

Well he did. Now we have to livewith that fact.

 Clair finally walks away.  EXT. HOUSTON STREET - DAY Ethan is walking home. He is angrily lost in his thoughts.Ryan climbs out of his bag and sneaks over to his shoulder. 

RYANCome on! Stop acting like I didsomething terrible!

 ETHAN

I'm not acting like you didsomething terrible, 'cause youactually DID something terrible!

 Ryan sighs. 

RYANLook I'm sorry. Can't we getthrough this?

 Ethan rolls his eyes. 

RYAN (CONT'D)Let's start by introducingourselves to each other! I'm Ryan.

 ETHAN

Ethan... 

RYANHello Ethan. So, what are yourplans for today?

19.

ETHANNothing special.

  INT. ETHAN'S NEW HOUSE - DAY Ethan enters the house. He finds a letter on the floor onceagain. He puts his bag and Ryan down on the floor. Then hepicks up the letter and starts reading it. Ryan walksthrough the house and looks around astonished. 

RYANYou have a pretty nice house.

 Ethan continues to read the letter. 

RYAN (CONT'D)I could get used to living here!

 Ethan drops the letter on the ground. 

ETHANMom left me some money so I couldgo to a restaurant since she won'tbe coming home tonight...again.

 RYAN

Oh. Can I come with you? 

ETHANUm...no!

 RYAN

Please! Ethan rolls his eyes again. 

ETHANNO!

 Ethan slowly approaches his room. Ryan follows him. 

RYANI beg you! I don't want to stayhere alone!

 ETHAN

You don't have to. You can goaway!

 RYAN

Come on Ethan!

ETHAN(madly)

Enough! You are not coming andthat's my last word!

 JUMP CUT TO:

  INT. RESTAURANT - NIGHT Ryan and Ethan are sitting at one of the beautiful tablesat the restaurant. It's pretty expensive and a neat lookingrestaurant. There's a huge chandelier hanging from themiddle of the roof. The whole place has a yellowish shade. 

ETHANI can't believe I actually wentinto this!

 RYAN

I can see you are a novice atarguing.

 ETHAN

If only you knew... Ryan looks around the place. 

RYANSo what are we gonna order?

 ETHAN

We? Be happy that I even broughtyou here! I'm not going to orderyou anything!

  INT. RESTAURANT - NIGHT A few minutes later, the waiter is bringing his order toRyan. Ryan mischievously smiles. 

RYANTold you. You're a rookie!

 ETHAN

I'm just happy that nobodyrealized you aren't a human thusfar!

 RYAN

Don't worry, they won't. I mademyself invisible.

ETHANHow?

 RYAN

I don't know. It's in the family.Everyone in our family can.

 ETHAN

That must be awesome. 

RYAN(sadly)

Yes it is... Ethan notices that Ryan is upset. 

ETHANWhat's wrong?

 RYAN

Oh, it's nothing... 

ETHANYou can tell me.

 RYAN

It's really nothing. 

ETHANTell me.

 RYAN

Okay, it's just that my brotherdied not so long ago and talkingabout my family made me rememberit.

 ETHAN

Rest in peace. 

RYAN(sadly)

Thank you. Awkward silence. 

ETHANLet's change the topic!

 RYAN

Okay, let's talk about you!

RYANYes, you! You said your motherisn't at home often. What is herwork?

 This time Ethan's the one who becomes distressed. 

ETHAN(sorrowfully)

She works at the FBI.

Oh. Okay I think I got it. Ethan sighs and turns away. 

RYAN (CONT'D)What's wrong?

 ETHAN

Nothing. You just made me remembermy old school.

 RYAN

How? 

ETHANWe moved away, because of mymother's work.

 RYAN

How come? 

ETHANIt's because of a serial killer.He's after us. We had to move awayfrom that place and changedidentities.

INT. A GIRL'S BEDROOM At the side of the small bedroom, there's a mirror tiltedon the wall. A young girl, around 17, is putting on a dress and makeup.She finishes, looks at herself in the mirror anxiously andstarts brushing her hair. 

GIRLGreat! I'm almost ready to go tothe party!

 We can hear her phone buzz. She walks over to it and checkswhat the message she just got. It's a photo, where she isstanding in front of the mirror in the exact same dress sheis wearing now, while she brushes her hair. 

GIRL (CONT'D)What the hell?

 She gets another text. 

TEXTLook behind ya!

 The young lady turns around in a hurry. Her face is filledwith terror. As she turns around she screams. 

OUTSIDE THE GIRL'SBEDROOM

 We can hear some cutting and screaming from inside. Secondslater, a dark and husky figure walks out of the room, withan evil grin on his face. He has blood all over his handsand clothing. He walks over to a wall and starts painting asentence on it, with the blood on his hand. As he finishesit reads: "Your son is next Sarah!" As he turns around wecan still see the evil smile on his face. 

KILLERWhat's your next move Sarah?

 He slowly leaves the room, with the remains of the blooddripping from his cloths.  INT. MUSEUM - NIGHT Martin is at a huge Museum and is walking next to anenormous dinosaur skeleton. He looks a little nervous. Heis working as a night guard. Suddenly we can see TWOTHIEVES, who are wearing black spandex and balaclavas tocover their faces. They approach him from behind. One of

THIEF 1I guess this museum is out ofmoney, since they've hired alittle fat pig to guard jewelsthat are worth millions ofdollars.

 They both start laughing. 

MARTINPlease let me go!

 THIEF 2

We sure will... After we beat thecrap out of you!

 MARTIN

Please let me go! They begin laughing once again. 

MARTIN (CONT'D)HELP!

 Thief 2 leans closer to Martin. 

THIEF 2Nobody will help you!

 The thief spits into his face. Suddenly, Axle appears infront of them. 

AXLEHow dare you humiliate the master!

 The thieves look astonished. 

THIEF 1Who are you?

 AXLE

Someone who is about to teach youa lesson!

 THIEF 2

You and what army? Axle swings his ax and cuts off the heads of the two men.The two beheaded men fall on the ground dead. Martin isdropped onto the ground. Axle helps him up.

 MARTIN

Thank you! You saved my life. 

AXLEWhenever you need my help, justcall me and I'll be there in asecond.

 MARTIN

I'll keep it in mind. Axle disappears.  EXT. HOUSTON STREET - NIGHT Ethan and Ryan are walking down the streets. They've headedhome from the restaurant. 

ETHANSo you liked the food, huh?

 RYAN

No! Ethan becomes surprised. 

ETHANWhat? What's your problem withpizza?

 RYAN

It's sour! You know back at myplace we have such delicious ham!

 ETHAN

HAM? Seriously? Ham is better thenpizza?

 As they continue walking Axle appears behind them. Hestarts to follow them.  INT. ETHAN'S NEW HOUSE - NIGHT Ethan and Ryan enter the house laughing. As they close thedoor we can see that Axle is watching them from over thefence.

INT. GIRL'S BEDROOM - NIGHT The FBI has arrived to the crime scene. The girl lies deadon the ground. Blood is dripping from her mouth. She hasseveral bruises all over her body. Her eyes are frozen wideopen, still filled with terror. Clair is analyzing herbody. Jack walks over to her. Clair is disturbed a little.She looks up at Jack. 

CLAIRHe was here...

 JACK

Who? 

CLAIRThe serial killer. This is his MO.

 JACK

How do you know for sure? Clair points at the phone laying next the girl. We canclearly see the photo of her that was just made. 

CLAIRAny other questions?

 Clair suddenly notices the bloody writing on the wall. Sheslowly reads it. 

CLAIR (CONT'D)Your son is next Sarah...

 She freezes. 

CLAIR (CONT'D)Oh no!

 Clair runs out of the room. Jack follows her.  INT. ETHAN'S ROOM - NIGHT Ryan is sitting on Ethan's bed. Meanwhile, we can hearwater splashing from the other room. 

ETHAN'S BATHROOM Ethan just came out of the bath tab and has a towel curledaround himself. 

ETHAN'S ROOM Ryan is staring at the wall. All of a sudden Axle appearsin front of him. Ryan jumps backward, surprised.

RYANWhat do you want from me again?

 Axle smiles. 

AXLEFrom you I want nothing... butfrom your friend!

 RYAN

What do you want from him? 

AXLEHe must die... For the greatergood!

 RYAN

You leave him alone! 

AXLEWhat are you gonna do about it?

 Axle picks Ryan up. Ryan starts hitting his hand with histwo fists. 

RYANYou put me down!

 Ryan opens a cupboard and throws him inside. 

ETHAN'S BATHROOM Ethan wants to open his bathroom's door but it's locked. 

ETHANWhat the hell?

 Ethan gives it another desperate attempt to open the door,but with no luck. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)Really funny Ryan!

 No reply. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)Ryan... LET ME OUT NOW!

 Suddenly a stream of gas starts to soar upwards, comingfrom the floor. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)(scared)

What the hell?

Ethan starts coughing. He slowly loses his balance. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)HELP!

 Ethan is now lying on the ground coughing. His face isreally pale. Soon the gas covers the whole room. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)(weakly)

Help...  EXT. OUTSIDE ETHAN'S HOUSE Clair arrives with a car. Jack is sitting in the seat nextto her. Clair notices that the door is open. 

CLAIROh no!

 Clair swing the car's doors open and runs inside the house,but before that she calls back to Jack. 

CLAIR (CONT'D)Stay in the car!

 JACK

Okay... Clair arrives to the house. 

CLAIRETHAN!!!

 INSIDE ETHAN'S ROOM

 Clair sprints into the room. 

CLAIR (CONT'D)Ethan are you here?

 Meanwhile we can see the serial killer creep up behindClair. Clair starts smashing the door with her fist. Theserial killer wants to stab Clair from behind. Clairnotices the man behind him. She kicks him in the stomach. 

KILLERAHHHHH!

 Clair punches him in the face, knocking him out. As heunfolds on the floor, we can see that Clair continuestrying to smash the door in.

CLAIRETHAN!!!

 The door finally breaks in. Clair rushes into the bathroomand immediately finds Ethan lying on the floor unconscious.She pulls him out in a hurry. While she is pulling him out,she notices that the serial killer is gone. 

CLAIR (CONT'D)Damn it!

 We can hear the sounds of a fist fight coming from theother room. 

JACKAHH!

 Clair recognizes Jack's voice and runs into the entrance,where the cry just came from. As she runs inside we can seeJack lying on the floor. 

JACK (CONT'D)(weakly)

He attacked me and then ranaway...

 Clair bends down next to Jack. 

CLAIRDon't worry I'll call theambulance!

 Jack slowly sits up. 

JACKYou don't have to worry about me.I'm fine.

 Clair stands up. 

CLAIROh... I'm not calling theambulance for you. I'm callingthem here for my son!

 Clair takes the phone out of her pocket end starts to dialthe ambulance, but before she could start calling Ethanwalks out of the room. 

ETHANDon't call them mom, I'm fine!

 Clair turns to Ethan.

CLAIREthan, sweetheart they must checkyou. After all, you could beseriously injured from that gas.

 Jack stand next to Clair. 

JACKI agree with Ethan. I think itwould be a better idea to take himin and ask him some questions.

 CLAIR

Excuse me! I'm not letting anyonetalk to my son, until we are surehe is alright.

 Jack sighs. 

JACKLook at him Clair.

 Clair looks at Ethan. 

JACK (CONT'D)Do you REALLY think he is injuredat all?

 CLAIR

You should know that these kindsof poison don't have symptomsimmediately!

 Clair sighs. 

CLAIR (CONT'D)Okay, here is my deal: We don'ttake him into the FBI and I'm notcalling the ambulance either.We'll leave him rest for thenight.

 ETHAN

I'm perfectly fine with that! Ethan goes over to his room and slams the door. 

JACKFINE! I think I will go home...

 CLAIR

Yeah, that sounds like a goodidea.

Jack turns around and leaves the house. Clair closes thedoor behind him. Then she turns around and sighs once more. 

INSIDE ETHAN'S ROOM Ethan is searching the place for Ryan. 

ETHAN(whispering)

Ryan... Are you here? Suddenly we can hear noises from one of the cupboards.Ethan walks over to it and opens it. Ryan is inside it. 

RYANFinally!

 He climbs out of the cupboard, but he loses his balance andstarts to fall towards the ground. Ethan catches him at thelast minute. 

ETHANI think we should sleep tonight.

 RYAN

I agree. 

HOUSE FROM OUTSIDE We can see a night vision of the house as the camera slowlycloses out of the place.  INT. ETHAN'S CLASSROOM - DAY Ethan walks over to his school locker moments after he hasarrived to the school. He starts placing his stuff inside.He suddenly finds a letter inside. It reads: Come to the school radio now! I have something to show you! Brandon Ethan crumples the paper and throws it in the bin.  INT. SCHOOL RADIO - DAY We enter a small room filled with plenty of computers andradios. The room is surrounded by glass instead of walls.Only one side of the room is made of bricks. This is alsothe entrance. Ethan walks inside. Brandon is already there waiting forhim at one of the radios.

ETHANWhy the hell did you call me here?

 BRANDON

If I'd be you, I wouldn't be sorude!

 Brandon smiles. 

BRANDON (CONT'D)Look at the monitor!

 Ethan turns over to the monitor. On it, a clip appears ofEthan, who is talking to his cabinet. At least that's whatwe can see from the camera's perspective. On screen: Ethan is looking inside the cupboard. 

ETHAN(whispers)

Get out of here or, you'll ruin mywhole life!

 Silence. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)Okay, just stay right here anddon't move!

 Ethan closes the cabinet. The video ends. Back at the radio room, Brandon starts to laugh. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)Why the hell did you record this?

 Brandon continues to laugh. 

BRANDONYou really don't understand? Thewhole school just saw this.

 We can see the kids standing around the radio room lookinginside and laughing at Ethan. 

ETHANYou...

 Brandon continues laughing. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)YOU.

Ethan runs towards Brandon and attacks him. They both breakthrough the glass. Their bodies tumble upon the ground withall the pieces of glass hitting the ground right next tothem. They both have cuts all over their faces. Ethanstarts punching Brandon. Brandon kicks Ethan off. As Ethanloses his balance, Brandon kicks him in the face. Then hestands up. Ethan unfolds on the ground. 

BRANDONYou are damn mad!

 Brandon kicks Ethan in the stomach. Suddenly Jack runsthrough the crowd. 

JACKStop!

 Ethan looks up at Jack. 

ETHAN(weakly)

What are you doing here? 

JACKYour mom sent me here, to take youin to the FBI after school.

 ETHAN

Awesome. Brandon start staring at Jack. 

BRANDONWho are you?

 Jack smiles at him and takes out his badge. 

JACKI'm Jack Portmann. I'm from theFBI.

 Brandon continues staring. Jack puts his badge away. Afterthat he helps up Ethan. He then turns to Brandon. 

BRANDONI will be watching you!

 Jack wants to take Ethan out of the school. 

ETHANBut, school just started!

 Jack smiles.

JACKWe will certify your attendancetoday don't worry!

 ETHAN

Great! Ethan walks away with Jack. They leave the room.  INT. JACK'S CAR - DAY Jack is driving the car. Ethan is looking outside thewindow. 

JACKSo what was going on with thiskid?

 Ethan doesn't answer. He pretends that he never heard Jack.Jack sighs sadly. 

JACK (CONT'D)Look, I'm trying to get to knowyou, but you're not making thisany easy for me!

 Ethan rolls his eyes. Then he mumbles to Jack, stilllooking out the window. 

ETHAN(mumbles)

Why are you so eager to get toknow me?

 This time Jack's the one who doesn't answer. Then they turninto another smaller street. Ethan looks surprised. Helooks at Jack uncomfortably. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)What are you doing? The FBI is theother way.

 Jack rides the car onto a secluded edge of the street. Thenhe stops it and turns to Ethan. 

JACKGet out of the car we're here.

 ETHAN

What the hell you think you'redoing?

 Jack leaves the car and then opens the door next to Ethanfor him to do the same.

ETHAN (CONT'D)Oh no! I know what this is!

 JACK

Get out of the car... please. Ethan won't move. 

ETHANYeah right. You want me to likeyou. So that you can be togetherwith mom easier.

 Jack starts to lose his patience. 

JACKOkay... I tried everything now,but you are making this reallyhard for me. Why can't you justtry to cooperate with me?

 As Jack is talking to Ethan, Ethan looks at the door andopens it. Jack notices this and tries to grab him, but withno luck. 

JACK (CONT'D)HEY! Come back here!

 Ethan sprints out of the car and races out down street.Ethan suddenly finds himself face to face with Axle. Axlegrabs his arm and starts pulling him. 

AXLEYou're coming with me!

 Ethan tries to free himself from Axle's grasp. 

ETHANLET ME GO!

 Jack pulls him into a moist and narrow street, just likethe one we saw in the flash forward. Than he trips Ethanonto the ground. Ethan immediately sits up. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)What do you want from me?

 AXLE

Unfortunately, before I canfinally complete my plans, I mustkill you.

 Axle swings his ax at Ethan, but Ethan manages to dodgeaway from it once again. Axle follows him becoming angrierwith every step.

AXLE (CONT'D)What does it take to murder a 16year old kid???

 He swings his ax once again, but with no luck this timeeither. He continues to follow Ethan. Ethan finally hasenough time to get up on his feet, before Axle manages tosmash him with his ax and is able to run away. Axle runsafter him. Ethan rushes away from the street trying to getas far as he can. He races onto a crossroad filled withtons of cars trying to bypass Ethan. They start honking athim until one of the cars starts to barrel towards Ethan.Ethan freezes and is ready to die, when the car suddenlystops inches from him. Ethan continues to stand therefrozen, staring at the car. We can now see that Jack wasdriving the car. He steps out and walks over to Ethan mad. 

JACKWhat were you thinking Ethan? Youalmost got killed!

 Ethan continues to stand frozen. Jack grabs his arm andyanks him inside the car. As the car leaves the crossroadwe can see Axle watching them from behind a wall. He isquite mad and swings his ax into the wall in anger.  EXT. ETHAN'S NEW HOUSE - NIGHT Jack drives over to the house and stops his car before thefront yard. Clair is waiting for them at the door. She isso anxious. Ethan leaves the car upset as he storms throughtheir front yard trying to enter the house when he isstopped by his mom. 

CLAIRThank goodness you're alive!

 Clair hugs Ethan. 

CLAIR (CONT'D)What happened? Why did you runaway from Jack?

 Ethan looks his mom in the eye. 

ETHANHe took me away from schooltelling me that you asked him totake me inside the FBI, butinstead of that he wanted tokidnap me!

 As Ethan is talking with Clair Jack walks into the frontyard and joins them. Clair looks at him.

CLAIRWhy did you lie to him about whereyou were trying to take him?

 Jack sighs. 

JACKYou asked me to take him away fora day to try and get to know him,but I knew he wouldn't want tocome with me if he'd know mygenuine intentions.

 Ethan looks at his mom in agony. 

ETHANMom? You asked him to do this?

 Clair sighs. 

CLAIREthan, there's something I shouldhave told you before

 Jack cuts into her speech. 

JACKYour mom and I are going to getmarried!

 Ethan looks at Jack and then back at his mom. 

ETHAN(sadly)

Seriously? Ethan runs into his room. Clair goes after him and Jackwants to follow her, when she suddenly stops him. 

CLAIRLet me talk to him alone.

 Jack nodes and turns around to leave the house while Clairwalks over to Ethan's room. 

ETHAN'S ROOM Ethan is sitting up on his bed. We can hear Clair knockingon his door. Ethan rolls his eyes. 

ETHAN(bored)

Come in!

Clair opens his door and slowly walks inside. Then she sitsdown next to Ethan on his bed. 

CLAIRLook, I don't know what to sayabout this, but...

 Ethan rudely interrupts her. 

ETHANThen don't say anything!

 Clair sighs. 

CLAIRI didn't know that you would takethis that hard.

 Ethan doesn't answer. 

CLAIR (CONT'D)I know that you found it out a badway.

 Ethan turns to Clair. 

ETHAN(madly)

Bad? This is what you call it? ABAD way???

 Clair sighs again. 

CLAIRI'm really sorry Ethan.

 ETHAN

Do you love him? Clair looks surprised. 

CLAIRExcuse me?

 ETHAN

Do you love him? This guy, Jack? 

CLAIROf course I do. Why else would Iwant to marry him.

 ETHAN

Ethan stands up and tries to leave the room, when Clairsuddenly stops him. 

CLAIRI never really understood why youhate Jack that much.

 Ethan rolls his eyes and sits back. 

ETHANWell, he is a brash D-bag!

 Clair's eyes widen. 

CLAIR(upset)

How dare you speak of him thatway?

 ETHAN

Because that's what he is! 

CLAIRENOUGH! Go to your room and thinkabout your inadmissible behavior!

 ETHAN

(shouts)I'm already in my room, now getthe hell out of here!

 CLAIR

Ethan Chase, how dare you speak tome this way!

 ETHAN

That's not even my real name! 

CLAIROkay enough of this! I'm going tomarry Jack whether you want it ornot!

 Clair stands up and storms out of the room. 

ETHANI wish that you wouldn't be mymom! You are a terrible person!

 Clair turns back and wants to say something, but she can'tsay anything. Saddened, she slowly turns around and walksaway. Ethan reclines his head on his bed. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)Great!

Ryan comes out from Ethan's cabinet. 

RYANThat was really mean of you.

 Ethan turns over to Ryan. 

ETHAN(angrily)

Yeah? And who are you to tell mewhat I should and shouldn't do?

 Ryan lowers his head. 

RYANNo one. But she didn't deservewhat you said to her.

 ETHAN

Do I deserve to have a douche-bagfather?

 Ryan sighs. 

RYANLook, I only want you to be alittle nicer to your family. Imean who knows how long they willbe alive.

 ETHAN

Not like she will die any moment. 

RYANHello! She works at the FBI! Herlife is in danger from the momentshe leaves this house, everysingle day!

 Ethan stands up. 

ETHANYou know what? I just realizedsomething!

 RYAN

What? 

ETHANEverything went wrong when youentered my life! This is all yourfault...

 RYAN

Ethan picks him up and walks over to his window. 

RYAN (CONT'D)WHAT ARE YOU DOING?

 Ethan opens his window and throws him outside. 

RYAN (CONT'D)AH!!!

 ETHAN

Don't you ever dare to come back! Ethan locks his window and pulls down the shutters. 

ETHAN'S NEW GARDEN Ryan stands up on his feet. He is really sad. He stands upand climbs out of the plot and slowly walks away. 

ETHAN'S ROOM Ethan turns away from the window when he suddenly sees alittle girl standing behind him. Ethan screams. 

LITTLE GIRLDon't try calling for help. No onecan hear you.

 ETHAN

Who are you? 

LITTLE GIRLThe master sent me here to killyou.

 ETHAN

What? 

LITTLE GIRLDon't worry, it won't take long!

 ETHAN

Why does your master want to killme?

 LITTLE GIRL

So he can finally begin thedomination.

 ETHAN

The girls head suddenly starts to grow. Her whole bodydisfigures. She is now an ugly, distorted demon. Her eyesare red. Her skin becomes stretchy and brown. As shecontinues to grow and grow her clothes expand rapidly tillthey split. Before Ethan could understand what had happenedan ugly monster was standing only inches away from hisface. 

ETHANWell, that's what I call weird.

 The monster roars. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)HELP!!!!

 The monster grabs him and swings him up into the air. Thenhe throws him into the wall. Ethan looks around the room,trying to find anything that he can use as a weapon againstthe monster when, all of a sudden, the creature disappears.Ethan stands up shaking. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)What was that?

  EXT. HOUSTON INTERSECTION Huge intersection, some people driving cars. Lot oftourists, walking around chatting. We can see a hooded manwalk through the crowd. He stops at the side of thecrossroad and looks up at the sky. Now we can clearly seeit is Axle who is standing there. He smiles. 

AXLEThe game is on!

 Axle throws his ax up into the sky. It almost disappearsfrom sight, when all of a sudden it explodes, leaving ahuge amount of smoke behind that forms a countdown timer.It starts to count back from 24 hours.  EXT. PAYPHONE - MORNING Axle is calling someone on a payphone. An FBI workeranswers. 

FBI WORKER 1(over phone)

Hello? 

AXLEGo and look outside the window.

FBI WORKER 1Excuse me?

 AXLE

Just go and look outside thewindow!

 FBI HEADQUARTERS

 The FBI worker walks over to the window and looks throughit. He can clearly see the countdown on the sky. As hecontinues staring at it he holds the phone next to his ear. 

FBI WORKER 1What is this?

 AXLE

That's how much time you havebefore it's game over, for yourworld. That's how much time youhave, before I WIN!

 Axle ends the call. The worker looks at the phone weirdly. 

FBI WORKER 1What the hell was that?

  INT. ETHAN'S ROOM - MORNING Ethan wakes up. He slowly stands up and walks over to thekitchen. He can't find anyone in the house. 

ETHANHello? Anyone here?

 Silence. On the table we can see Ethan's phone. It startsto ring. Ethan answers the call. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)Hello?

 VIOLET

(over phone)Ethan, it's me Violet. Somethingterrible has happened.

 ETHAN

Wait... Slow down and... how doyou know my number.

 VIOLET

(over phone)I searched it up, but right nowI'm in serious trouble.

ETHANWhat's the problem?

 VIOLET

(over phone)Okay, you are going to think I'mmad after this, but I think myparents aren't here anymore.

 VIOLET'S HOUSE

 We can now see Violet standing in a dark room talking toEthan on the phone. We can hear someone smashing her doorand roaring. 

ETHAN(over phone)

What do you mean they are notthere?

 VIOLET

Well, they came down in themorning and they look pretty muchworn out...

 ETHAN

(over phone)Worn out?

 VIOLET

Well, their skin is like ...rotten and they smell like theyhaven't bathed for years.

 ETHAN

(over phone)Wait. You are telling me that yourparents turned into zombies?

 VIOLET

Yeah I thought you were gonnathink I'm mad.

 ETHAN

(over phone)I'm not. Believe me last night Iwas talking to a 2-inch tall guy.

 VIOLET

Oh... Violet's door suddenly brakes in. 

ETHAN'S HOUSE

Ethan hears the smash over the phone. 

ETHANWhat's going on?

 VIOLET

They got in! 

ETHANOkay, don't worry, I'm going overthere, but first tell me where youlive.

Green Street 45 ... HELP! Call ends. Ethan rushes to the front door and leaves thehouse in a hurry.  INT. FBI HEADQUARTERS - DAY Back at the FBI everyone is panicking. Clair is trying tokeep everyone calm. She runs over to technician. 

CLAIRCheck the cameras on the street!

 TECHNICIAN

Okay. The technician turns on the computer, but then suddenlystops. 

CLAIRWhat's wrong?

 The technician starts to disappear. 

CLAIR (CONT'D)What's going on?

 The technician no longer stands there. Instead of him therestands man with a machine gun in his hand. 

CLAIR (CONT'D)Roy?

 The man turns towards Clair and starts shooting all aroundthe room like mad. Clair hides behind a desk. 

CLAIR (CONT'D)What the hell is going on here?

EXT. GREEN STREET 45 - DAY Ethan walks towards the house. It is suspiciously quiet. 

ETHANIt doesn't seem like there are alot of zombies here...

 Ethan climbs over the fence and walks through the neat andtidy garden. He wants to knock on the front door, when henotices that it's already open. He slowly enters the house.Inside we can see that everything is neat and tidy. Thewalls are painted white and the floor is made of wood.Ethan looks around the room suspiciously as he approachesone of the rooms. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)(quietly)

Anyone here? He walks into the room and looks at the walls in terror. Wecan see that the once beautiful white walls are now coveredin blood. Ethan notices a hand on the ground. He screams.Suddenly someone grabs him from behind and pulls him behindthe bed. It's Violet. 

VIOLETBe quiet. I don't want them tofind me because of you.

 ETHAN

What's going on here? 

VIOLETI don't have a clue. They justattacked me. One of them grabbedmy hand and as I tried to freemyself from the monster's graspits hand came off the arm!

 She points at the hand on the ground. 

ETHANAnd where are they now?

 VIOLET

I don't know. They just left theroom after the hand incident and Ihid here.

 ETHAN

Okay, we gotta get out of thisplace.

VIOLETOkay.

 Ethan and Violet sneak out of the room. As they approachthe front door Ethan turns over to Violet. 

ETHANHow come you called me? I meanBrandon is your boyfriend.

 VIOLET

Oh, we broke up last night. 

ETHANReally?

 VIOLET

Yes. And besides last yesterdayyou accompanied me to my house andtold me that if I have a problem Ishould just call you.

 ETHAN

What? 

VIOLETYeah it was pretty weird. You evengave me your phone number.

 ETHAN

Violet, I never accompanied youlast night. I was probably on therun from Jack at the time schoolended for you.

 Violet looks at Ethan weirdly. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)Long story, but what's importantis that I wasn't the guy you weretalking to yesterday.

 VIOLET

Ethan I'm sure it was you. Ethan freezes. 

ETHANThis was a trap...

 Violet turns to Ethan. 

VIOLETExcuse me?

ETHANViolet, this might sound weird,but what if someone wanted me tobe in this house right now? Whatif this is all part of a plan?

 VIOLET

Why would anyone want you to be inthis house?

 ETHAN

Because, he wants me dead. Ethan eyes widen. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)Oh no... We gotta get out of here!

 Ethan starts sprinting out of the house with Violet tryingto catch up behind him. 

VIOLETHow do you mean someone wants youdead?

 ETHAN

I'll explain it later! Ethan and Violet almost reaches the garden when suddenly apack of zombies block their only escape route. One of thezombies knocks out Ethan.  INT. FBI HEADQUARTERS - DAY Clair is still hiding behind the desk. By now the wholeoffice is filled with armed men. Clair sneaks over to Jack,who is also hiding behind a desk. 

CLAIRWhat should we do?

 JACK

Well we gotta leave this placesoon if we want to be alive on ourwedding day!

 Clair notices an emergency exit just a few meters away fromthem. 

CLAIRIf we managed to reach that exitalive...

 Clair points at the exit while she is talking.

CLAIR (CONT'D)We might have a chance of leavingthis place alive.

 JACK

Okay, then let's make a run forit.

 Jack runs out from behind the desk towards the exit. Thearmed men notices him and starts shooting at him. Luckilynone of the bullets hit him. Jack reaches the exit andturns around. He sees that Clair is still behind the desk. 

JACK (CONT'D)Come quickly!

 Clair hesitates, but then she decides to give it a try. Shesprints over to the exit and doesn't even get noticed byany of the armed man. 

CLAIRI made it!

 They try to leave using the stairs, but unfortunately theirway is blocked by another pack of armed men. The lift opensand Jack runs inside. 

JACKHurry, this way!

 Clair follows him. They manage to close the lift justbefore the armed men arrive, hot on their heels. They startshooting at the lift, but Clair and Jack are already underthem. 

CLAIRWe made it!

 Clair hugs Jack in her happiness. Suddenly the lift stops. 

CLAIR (CONT'D)What's going on?

 The lift begins to go upwards. Jack stops hugging Clair andlooks at the lift buttons. 

JACKWe are going to the roof!

 CLAIR

Why? 

JACKI don't have a damn clue!

50.

They reach the rooftop and the lift doors open. A OLDERWOMAN, around her 50's steps inside the lift. Clairwhispers something to Jack. 

CLAIRWe are safe!

 Suddenly, the woman's eyes turn red. Clair screams. Jackkicks the woman out of the lift and quickly closes thedoor. Jack starts pushing the lift buttons to make the liftgo down, but with no luck. 

CLAIR (CONT'D)What are these things?

 JACK

I know this girl! I saw her in ahorror video game advertisement. Iwas going to buy that game!

 The lift door starts to open again, but Jack manages toclose the door, before the woman has time to enter the liftonce again. 

CLAIRWe can't continue doing this forever!

 Jack looks up and smiles. 

JACKLet's use the vent!

  EXT. VIOLET'S GARDEN - DAY Violet is sitting next to Ethan trying to wake him up. Theyare now surrounded with zombies from every corner. 

VIOLETCome on wake up!

 Ethan wakes up. 

VIOLET (CONT'D)Oh ... I should have said thatearlier!

 Ethan slowly sits up. Then he notices the zombies andstarts screaming. 

VIOLET (CONT'D)OH boy, don't be a coward, juststand up and help me get out ofhere!

51.

Ethan looks around. 

ETHANDo you see any possible way we canleave this place?

 The zombies are now only inches from their heads. Suddenlysomeone shoots the head off one of the zombies. All thezombies sluggishly turn towards the place where theshooting sound came from. Ryan was the one who shot. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)Ryan! You came back?

 RYAN

Yes I did, even though you didn'tdeserve it!

 The zombies start walking, towards Ryan. Ethan and Violettake advantage of this sudden chaos and starts runningtowards the gate. 

RYAN (CONT'D)Run over to my helicopter! It'ssomewhere in front of the gate!

 Ethan and Violet spots the helicopter and they freeze. Infront of them stands a huge helicopter that is made of tinylittle pixels. While Ethan and Violet continue admiring theawesome helicopter Ryan runs over to them with the machinegun. 

RYAN (CONT'D)What are you waiting for get onthe helicopter, before they reachus!

 Ethan and Violet run onto the helicopter and they sit down.Ethan continues to look around the helicopter perplexed. 

ETHANYou made this?

 RYAN

Yes! Ryan starts the helicopter. They leave the ground justbefore the zombies can grasp of the helicopter. They flyaway.  INT. INSIDE THE VENT - DAY Clair and Jack are climbing through the vent. We can seethat their clothes are a little ripped here and there.

CLAIR(exhausted)

How far are we from the exit? 

JACK(nervously)

I don't have a clue! 

CLAIRWhat? You made me go in to this...thing ... and you don't have CLUEhow we are going to get out ofhere?

 JACK

You pretty much got the main idea. 

CLAIRI can't believe this.

 JACK

Can't believe what? 

CLAIRHow am I gonna trust you throughour whole marriage if I can't eventrust you with this?

 JACK

Oh, come on you can't be serious! 

CLAIRYour first mistake was takingEthan away without his own freewill!

 JACK

You asked me to go and try makingamends with him!

 CLAIR

Yes! I asked you to make peacewith him, but instead you madethings even worse!

 JACK

You can't blame me for everything!You were the one who didn't tellhim anything about our upcomingmarriage!

 CLAIR

Yes, you're right! I made a bigmistake!

JACKFinally, something we can agreeon!

 CLAIR

Yes. My mistake was accepting yourmarriage offer!

 JACK

Yes that was a huge mista... WHAT? 

CLAIRWhen we get out of here and put anend to this ... whatever is goingon right now, my first move willbe to cancel the wedding!

 JACK

Oh no you won't because I'llcancel it before you!

 CLAIR

Fine! I don't care! I just want itto be canceled!

 JACK

I can see the light! 

CLAIRYeah right.

 JACK

No, I really see light coming fromthere!

 Jack points at the other end of the vent. 

CLAIRYes! I can see it too!

 Jack and Clair start climbing in a hurry, towards theirchance of escaping the ventilation shaft. They finallyarrive to the other end if the shaft to find a metal grate,the only thing that now stands between them and the outsideworld. At least that's what they think. As they open thegrate they find themselves 30 feet above the ground. 

CLAIR (CONT'D)Great! What are we gonna do now?

 JACK

Can you give me time to thinkthings through?

CLAIRLike if you think it will get usanywhere.

 Suddenly the sound of propellers can be heard. Clair looksup. The helicopter in which Ethan and his friends just leftViolet's place approaches them. Ethan notices his mom. 

ETHANMom?

 CLAIR

Ethan? What are you doing in thatthing it's dangerous.

 ETHAN

Do you want us to help you or not? 

CLAIRHow dare you speak with me likethat again.

 Jack looks at Ethan. 

JACKA few minutes ago she was doingthe same thing with me!

 Ryan stops the helicopter letting Jack and Clair climb onboard. Jack and Clair enter the helicopter, but there's nomore place left for them to sit. They squeeze themselvesinto the narrow middle space on the floor. They fly awaywith the helicopter. 

ETHANSo, any ideas, about what's goingon here?

 CLAIR

No, people at the FBI just startedto turn into psychotic armed men.

 ETHAN

At least you guys haven'tencountered any zombies yet!

 Clair and Jack look at Ethan surprised. Ethan and Violetanswer in chorus. 

ETHAN AND VIOLETLong story!

 There's silence on the helicopter for a little while untilRyan decides to get things moving.

RYANDoes the FBI have any plan?

 JACK

Didn't you hear Clair, there'sbarely anyone left in the FBIwho's capable of breathing, muchless work!

 RYAN

Then I'll say it clearer: do youguys have any plan?

 CLAIR

No, all we know is that we have 24hours, before the whole world getsreplaced by these ... whateverthey are called.

 ETHAN

Wait a minute, are you saying thatI could be replaced by a zombieany second?

 CLAIR

Or an armed man. 

JACKWait. I think I know what's goingon. Remember Clair when weencountered that devil women fromthat video game? I bet the armedmen are also from all sorts ofgames.

 ETHAN

Yes! And also, I know a lot ofgames that have zombies!

 CLAIR

Oh boy, I can see the headlinestomorrow. "The world gets takenover by video games characters!"

 Suddenly we can hear shooting. 

ETHANWhat's going on?

 Everybody looks behind them, only to find out that theyhave been followed by tons of green army helicopters. 

CLAIRWhat's going on?

JACKThese people must be from the armythe only question is what's theirreason for trying to take us out?

 ETHAN

Look around you and think again! Jack looks at their helicopter that is made of blocks interror. 

JACKThey must think that we are from agame as well!

 ETHAN

Ryan! Speed things up! 

RYANWith pleasure!

 Ryan turns a handle from fast to turbo and they goflat-out.  INT. MARTIN'S ROOM - DAY Martin arrives home. He walks into the room and throws hiswork bag flat onto the ground. 

MARTINFinally!

 Martin wants to sit in front of his computer, but getsinterrupted by Axle. 

AXLEI need your help!

 Martin turns around, only to find himself face to face withAxle. 

MARTINCould you just stop scaring me?

 AXLE

Oh, I'm sorry master. 

MARTINThis is getting out of ... Wait!You called me master?

 AXLE

Yes.

MARTINWhy would you call me that?

 AXLE

Because since that computer... Axle points at Martin's computer, while talking to Martin. 

AXLE (CONT'D)Is the reason there's a chance formy whole plan to succeed, andyou're the one who created it.

 Martin looks surprised. 

MARTINI didn't create ... Oh...

 Martin looks like he just had a great idea. He smiles. 

MARTIN (CONT'D)Yes I created the computer. Icreated you! Now can you bring mesome pizza?

 Axle flinches. 

AXLESure ... But can we get back towhat I was asking first.

 Martin shakes his head. 

MARTINNooo, not before my pizza!

 Axle sighs and then disappears. Moments later he's backwith a plate filled with delicious looking pizza. Axlehands over the pizza to Martin. 

AXLEHere's your pizza, now can we getback to my plan?

 Martin starts to eat the pizza. 

MARTIN(mouth full)

Sure! 

AXLEI want you to kill someone.

 Martin spits the pizza out in his surprise.

MARTINWHAT?

 AXLE

I need Ethan Chase to die or myplan may never be complete.

 MARTIN

And who is this Ethan Chase? 

AXLEHe is a 16 year old kid, he ...

 Martin interrupts Axle. 

MARTINWait ... You want me to kill aminor?

 AXLE

Don't think of it that way. 

MARTINThan how should I think about it?Like it's a heroic attempt?

 AXLE

Sort of! Martin turns away. 

MARTINDon't wait for my help, I'm notgoing to kill a kid.

 Axle becomes upset. 

AXLEFine!

 Axle disappears once again. Martin looks at the spot wherehe was standing moments before. 

MARTINWhat is this guy planning?

  INT. RYAN'S HELICOPTER - DAY The little group is still gliding with the helicopter,through the sky. 

JACKI think we lost them!

59.

Suddenly their propeller is shot. 

ETHANOh come on man!

 VIOLET

This can't be, they aren't behindus.

 ETHAN

No, they are below us! Ethan point below them through the window. They are flyingabove a military base. Jack turns to Ryan. 

JACKYou took us to a military base?

 RYAN

You said you wanted me the losethem. And also, I didn't knowthere was a military base here!

 Their propeller gets shot at again, this time rendereduseless. They start to hurtle towards the ground. Everyoneis screaming and yelling. 

VIOLETI don't want to die!

 JACK

We have to jump out! 

EVERYONE ELSEWhat?

 JACK

If we manage to jump out momentsbefore this thing lands andexplodes, then we might have achance of surviving!

 RYAN

Calm down this won't explode it'smade of blocks. We have a goodchance of surviving.

 The helicopter suddenly smashes into the ground and breaksinto many blocks. Everyone goes flying off and out of thehelicopter. They all land at different places of themilitary base.

EXT. MILITARY BASE - DAY Camera closes on upon the military base. We can see a hugeyellow field, with dozens of bases all around it.Helicopters are flying all around in slow motion. Ryanwakes up. The scene starts to slowly speed up as he sitsup. He looks around trying to find the others. 

RYANAnyone here?

 No reply. Ryan stands up and continues to look aroundhimself worried. He notices Ethan lying on the groundunconscious. He wants to run over to him when suddenly oneof the helicopters drops a grenade on him. As it hits theground it explodes with a big BOOM. Ryan goes flying, allthe way over to the other end of the base. He quicklystands up. We can hear someone shouting from thehelicopter. 

HELICOPTER MANI found another one! I'll take itout!

 Ryan starts running. The helicopter starts firing at him.Ryan sprints over to Ethan. He starts slapping him. 

RYANEthan wake up!

 Ethan slowly opens his eyes. 

ETHAN(half asleep)

What's going on? Ryan looks up worried. 

RYANStand up quick?

 Ethan looks a little dizzy. 

ETHANWhat...?

 RYAN

STAND UP NOW! Ethan notices a grenade flying towards him. He quickly sitsup and jumps out if it's way. He gets lucky, since he onlygets caught by the wind of the grenade. He flies a few feetaway and lands on his feet.

ETHANWhat's going on?

 Ryan runs next to him. 

RYANThey're trying to shoot me out!They think I'm one of them!

 ETHAN

Aren't you! Ryan looks at Ethan and rolls his eyes. One of thehelicopter starts shooting at them. 

RYANCome on we gotta get moving!

 Ethan and Ryan start racing outside of the military base. 

ETHANWhat about the others?

 RYAN

Do you see any of them aroundhere?

 Ethan looks around him while running. 

ETHANNo! But if they're not here, thenwhere are they?

 RYAN

Let's get somewhere safe and thenwe'll discuss the rest!

 ETHAN

(tiredly)OK!

 They leave the military base. The helicopter continue tofollow them.  INT. MILITARY BUILDING - DAY Camera closes on the ruins of a military building. We cansee a gaping hole in the wall, possibly created bysomething that just smashed through it. Clair sits upslowly. She looks really exhausted. She tries to stand up,but her legs give way. She loses her balance and falls backon the ground.

CLAIROuch! Stupid helicopter!

 We can hear a fearful voice coming from the other side ofthe building. 

VIOLETAnyone here?

 Hope spreads through Clair's face. 

CLAIRYes I'm here! Did you see Jackanywhere?

 VIOLET

You mean the man whose currentlylying next to me unconscious?

 CLAIR

How does he look like? 

VIOLETHe's the man who was coming withus on the helicopter!

 CLAIR

Then that's him! Don't move, I'mcoming over to you!

 Clair tries to stand up, but just doesn't have thestrength. 

CLAIR (CONT'D)Or, you know what? Try waking himup and tell him I'm injured!

  EXT. HIGHROAD - DAY Camera closes onto Ethan and Ryan sprinting through thehighway, desperately trying to lose the helicopters. Ryanis left behind by Ethan. 

RYAN(exhausted)

Wait up! 

ETHANYou're too slow! They will reachus in no time if we continue goingthis slow!

 Suddenly they hear a car approaching them.

63.

RYANI have an idea!

 Ethan and Ryan stand in the way of the car and startyelling at the driver. 

ETHAN AND RYANHelp us! Help us!

 The car stops only inches away from them. The DRIVER,middle aged man, wearing a brown hat, wearing loose greenpants attached to his body by a pair of black braces. Helooks at them like they are mad. 

DRIVERAre you guys insane? Do you wantto get yourself killed?

 ETHAN

Please help us! 

DRIVERHelp you with what?

 Ethan and Ryan point at the helicopters. We can see thatthey have almost reached them. 

DRIVER (CONT'D)Why are a bunch of militaryhelicopters chasing you guys?

 ETHAN

Just please take us with you towhere ever you are heading! Idon't care where! Just please takeus away from them!

 The driver looks like he's thinking really hard, whensuddenly the helicopters start firing at them. The drivergets horrified. 

DRIVEROkay I'll take you with me, justget out of my way.

 Ethan and Ryan smiles. Ethan quickly picks up Ryan andjumps inside the car with him. 

ETHANStep on the gas!

 The driver starts driving away from the firing helicopterslike mad. While they are escaping the military Ryanwhispers something to Ethan.

RYAN(whispers)

He must be really scared! Heliterally goes double the speedlimits.

 Ethan whispers back to Ryan. 

ETHAN(whispers)

I just hope that we won't have anaccident.

 Screen changes to birds-eye view, as the car they are nowsitting in, speeds through the highway with the militaryhelicopter right behind them.  INT. MARTIN'S ROOM - DAY Martin is walking around his room nervously. 

MARTINWhat if he's planning somethingdangerous?

 Martin turns around and starts walking towards the otherend of his room, still talking to himself. 

MARTIN (CONT'D)What if he wants domination?

 Martin looks up. 

MARTIN (CONT'D)I don't know what he wants, butit's up to me to stop him!

 Martin marches over to his door and leaves his room in ahurry, leaving the door open behind him.  INT. MILITARY BUILDING - DAY Camera shows Violet, desperately trying to wake up Jack. 

CLAIRDid he wake up yet?

 VIOLET

No! It's like impossible to wakehim up!

65.

Unexpectedly a group of soldiers march into the building.They start shooting around like mad. Violet quickly jumpsin front of them. 

VIOLET (CONT'D)Could you guys just quit, tryingto kill us! We aren't one of themfor goodness sake!

 Clair notices that the soldiers have nametags above theirheads. 

CLAIRViolet... I don't think these arereal life soldiers...

 Violet replies while she continues looking at the soldiers. 

VIOLETWhat would they be if not "reallife soldiers"?

 Violet also notices the nametags. 

VIOLET (CONT'D)Oh...

 Violet ducks in a hurry only moments before the soldiersstart firing at her. She hides behind a wall. 

VIOLET (CONT'D)HELP!

 CLAIR

Quit shouting! You'll only attractmore!

 Violet closes her mouth. One of the in-game solders notice Clair on the ground andapproaches her. Clair freezes. The soldier is about toshoot when somebody shoots at him from behind and managesto hit him in the head. Above the soldier the words "Headshot" appear. We can quickly see that another SOLDIER,named Tom, a tall strong man, wearing a soldier uniform,was the one who just saved Clair's life, but he doesn'thave any nametags above him. 

CLAIR (CONT'D)Thank you...

 Tom quickly helps up Clair. 

CLAIR (CONT'D)I can't stand on my feet.

66.

TOMWell you'll have to. I can'tassist you and fight at the sametime!

 Clair tries to walk and surprisingly she can. 

CLAIRThis is a miracle!

 TOM

No it's just your adrenalin! Clair looks at Tom in a weird way. 

CLAIRCan you try waking up the guylying on the floor a few inchesfrom you?

 Tom looks at Jack. 

TOMI sure can!

 Tom runs over to Jack and stamps into his stomach. Jacksits up screaming. 

TOM (CONT'D)Mission accomplished.

 JACK

Who is this freak! Clair goes over to Jack and helps him up. 

CLAIRHe's our savior!

 JACK

Really? I didn't seem to notice! Tom shoots another few game soldiers in the head and thenturns to Jack and Clair. 

TOMFollow me! I know a place where wecan escape!

 CLAIR

Wait what about the girl? Violet runs over to them.

67.

VIOLETI'M here! And my name is Violet.

 CLAIR

Oh ... Okay ... Tom runs over to a trap door, followed by Jack, Clair andViolet. Tom climbs down and the other three follow him.They enter a tunnel.  EXT. HOUSTON BRIDGE - DAY The car in which Ethan Ryan and the Driver just escapedfrom the helicopter, speeds through the bridge. Ethan andRyan have now calmed down. 

ETHAN(happily)

We lost them! 

RYANYes! I just can't believe this!

 As Ethan and Ryan talk to each other, the Driver's nailsstart growing. Soon they can't be called nails anymore,since they've turned into claws. While the driver growsnails his teeth also start to grow turning into huge fangs.His body start to disfigure. As he just grows and grows hiscloths shred apart. Ethan notices what's happening to thedriver. 

ETHAN(scared)

What's going on? 

RYANI don't have a clue!

 The driver is now transformed into a huge black monster. Helooks at them and growls. Ethan and Ryan start yelling likemad. 

RYAN (CONT'D)Let's get the hell out of here!

 Ethan tries to open on of the car doors, but it's locked. 

ETHANQuick! Let's try the one on yourside!

 They try opening the door on the other side, but with noluck.

68.

ETHAN (CONT'D)Shoot!

 The monster leaps at them. Ethan quickly eludes from itsway and starts kicking the door, but it just won't budge.Ethan and Ryan start yelling again. 

RYANWhat are we gonna do?

 ETHAN

Just try some was to open thatcursed door!

 RYAN

I can't! It's locked! We aretrapped!

 Ethan tries to kick in the door with all his strength now.He is now kicking it like mad. The monster grabs Ethan'sneck and start choking him. 

ETHANWe are gonna die!

 RYAN

Just continue kicking the door! Ethan gives it one last try and kicks the door with all hisstrength. Fortunately, the door breaks off. Ethan traps itbetween his two legs and swing it at the monster. Themonster gets so surprised that it accidentally lets go ofEthan. Ethan grabs Ryan in a hurry from behind the monsterand jumps out of the car. 

ETHANWe did it!

 Ryan is standing in Ethan's hand. He suddenly startsstaring at something. 

RYAN(in terror)

Look! Why Ryan is saying this he points in front of them. Ethanlooks up and becomes horrified. At the far end of thebridge marches an army of armed men followed by a tone ofzombies and other video game characters. Ethan startssprinting the other way. Unfortunately, the monster blocksthat escape route. By now he has become so big that he ableto stand through the whole bridge.

69.

RYAN (CONT'D)(sourly)

We are trapped ... Ethan looks up and notices a suspension cable at the sideof the bridge. 

ETHANWe can climb up there!

 While he's saying this Ethan's points at the suspensioncables. He quickly squeezes Ryan into his pocket. 

RYANOuch!

 Then he starts running towards the suspension cables and ashe reaches them, he immediately starts to climbs upwards.As he climbs up, the setting sun shines into the lens ofthe camera. He just manages to reach the top of the bridgeas the figures arrive to the place where they were standingonly moments ago. Ethan gives them a relieved smile. 

ETHANWe did it! There's no way any ofthem can climb this high!

 Seconds after Ethan finishes his premature speech, theblack and horrifying monster jumps onto the suspensioncables and start to climb up. Unfortunately for the vilecreature, its weight is too much for the cables. The breakoff the bridge and falls into the water, with a terrifiedEthan and Ryan on top of it.  INT. TUNNELS - DAY Screen closes on Clair, Tom, Violet and Jack walkingthrough the dark and moist tunnels. 

CLAIRDo you know where we are going?

 TOM

Don't worry! I know these tunnelsbetter then myself!

 Jack whispers to Clair. 

JACKThat's a little bit creepy!

 The wizard shoots an arrow into Tom. Tom loses his balanceand fells onto the ground. Then he pulls the arrow out ofhimself and shoots the wizard in the head. 

JACK (CONT'D)(a little bit freakedout)

Is this guy immortal or something? Tom stands up. 

TOMNot even close, private! I'mwearing a bulletproof vest!

 JACK

I didn't know those hold up arrowsas well.

 TOM

Not all of them do! They continue walking through the tunnels. They suddenlysee light coming from the other end. 

TOM (CONT'D)It seems like we have arrived tothe end of our journey.

 Jack whispers to Clair again. 

JACK(whispers)

This guy's a freak! 

TOMI heard that!

 Jack looks really surprised while he continues to walk on.They arrive to the other end of the tunnel. Unfortunately,they are up really high. 

JACKDidn't you say you know thesetunnels better then you doyourself?

 TOM

I do. We are going to jump off!

TOMI've jumped off from higher placesthen this.

 Tom jumps off onto the ground. Unfortunately he hits theground with his head in front of him and it bursts intopieces.

 Clair quickly covers Violet's eyes. 

CLAIRDon't look!

 Jack smiles. 

JACKNow let's try climbing down!

 Jack points at a few ropes hanging from the side of thewall. 

CLAIRThat's a smart one!

  EXT. HOUSTON COAST - SUNSET Screen slowly closes on upon the coast. The water calmlyfloats until suddenly Ryan jumps out of the waterexhausted. 

RYANWe did it Ethan!

 Ethan didn't come after him. 

RYAN (CONT'D)Ethan?

 He realizes that he's lost Ethan. 

RYAN (CONT'D)ETHAN!

 Ryan jumps back into the water and starts searching for himlike mad. He ducks under the water, but seconds later hecomes up to the surface again. By now he is really nervous 

RYAN (CONT'D)ETHAN!

He ducks under the water once more, but comes back with noresult once more. He has to come to terms with the terribletruth. Ethan is gone.  EXT. OTHER SIDE OF THE COAST - SUNSET Ethan gets pushed by the currents till he's drifted to asandbar at the coastline. He is unconscious. Axle walksnext to him. He flashes a viperous smile. 

AXLEGot you now!

 After he has said this he squats next to Ethan and pickshim up. Then he stands up and slowly walks away with him.  EXT. HOUSTON STREET - SUNSET Clair, Violet and Jack are now walking on Houston'sstreets. 

CLAIRWe gotta get somewhere safe! Itwill be dangerous being outsideafter dawn!

 JACK

I think it's already dangerousanyway?

 Clair turns back to Jack, but unfortunately Martinaccidentally runs into her, while she's not watching. Theyboth get knocked over.  EXT. HOUSTON STREET - SUNSET Ryan is running through the streets. Everyone is terrified.They are all running around like crazy. One of them almoststeps on Ryan, but he manages to dodge out of the way inthe last second. He spots Clair Jack and Ryan. Meanwhile,Clair helps Martin up from the ground. 

CLAIRI'm really sorry, I just didn'tsee you coming!

 MARTIN

It was nothing. Martin starts staring at Clair like he is in love with herat first glance. Jack notices this and stands between himand Clair.

JACKI think we should hide somewhere,since it will be dangerous to beoutside after sunset.

 CLAIR

It's already dangerous and wecould also turn into one of themany second. Our only chance is ifwe stop this in time!

 JACK

And how much time do we have leftClair? We can transform ordisappear or who knows what couldhappen to us any second!

 CLAIR

Okay! I won't start arguing withyou on this the imp ...

 She can't finish the speech since a really tired Ryan cutsinto her word. 

RYANEthan disappeared!

 Clair looks down at Ryan shocked.

I don't know. He was there with meback on the bridge and then he wassuddenly out of sight.

 CLAIR

Long story! Martin suddenly looks at Clair.

INT. MARTIN'S ROOM - SUNSET Axle teleports into Martin's room, with the unconsciousEthan in his arms. He rudely throws him onto the ground.Ethan wakes up. 

ETHANWhat's going on?

 AXLE

Don't worry, it won't hurt you. Atleast nobody complained so far,since they've all understood thatit's better for them if I getthrough with this quick!

 Ethan looks terrified. 

ETHAN(scared)

What are you gonna do with me? Ryan starts sharpening his ax with the side of Martin'swall leaving huge cuts in it. 

AXLEIsn't it clear?

 ETHAN

There must be a way we can do thisin a more civilized way!

 AXLE

I'm afraid there isn't. Now tellme how do you want me to cut youup? Horizontally or vertically?

 Ryan swings his ax towards Ethan as he turns his head awaywith tears in his eyes.  EXT. HOUSTON STREET - SUNSET Martin is still standing with Clair, Jack, Violet and Ryan. 

CLAIR(with hope in her voice)

Where is he? Martin looks up. 

MARTINAxle! Come here and help me!

INT. MARTIN'S ROOM - SUNSET Axle is just about to hit the horrified Ethan with his ax,when he hears Martin. 

AXLECome on! Why can't he ask me forhelp some other time?

 Ethan looks at Axle weakly. 

AXLE (CONT'D)I'll come back for you in a sec!

 Axle disappears.  EXT. HOUSTON STREET - SUNSET Martin is waiting. 

JACKIs this guy insane what was hedoing?

 CLAIR

We have to trust him! He knowswhere my son is!

 JACK

How do you know he's not bluffing? Clair doesn't answer. Axle appears in front of Martin. 

AXLEWhy did you call me?

 MARTIN

I want you to take me and thesepeople to Ethan.

 AXLE

WHAT? 

MARTINNow!

 Axle sighs.

 JACK

Axle swings his arms and the little group disappears.  INT. MARTIN'S ROOM - NIGHT They reappear in Martin's room. Clair immediately noticeshis son, who is now laying on the ground. 

CLAIREthan! You are alive!

 Ethan looks at his mom relieved. 

ETHANMom! How did you find me?

 Clair sits down next to Ethan and hugs him. 

CLAIRThat wonderful man helped us!

 MARTIN

It was nothing really! While everybody is happy Violet walks over to Martin'scomputer. She starts messing around with it. Axle noticesthis. 

AXLEWhat do you think you're doing!

 Axle attacks Violet. 

ETHANViolet!

 Ethan quickly jumps to his feet and attacks Axle frombehind. He starts smashing Axle's head with his fists. 

AXLEYOU!

 Axle tosses Ethan on the floor. 

AXLE (CONT'D)Now I'M going to do, what I shouldhave done a long time ago!

 Axle swing his ax once more up into the air. 

VIOLETEthan!

 CLAIR

Clair jumps in front of Ethan as the ax smashes her in thestomach instead of Ethan, leaving a massive gash. Clairimmediately drops onto the ground. 

ETHANMOM!

 Martin looks shocked. 

MARTINWhat did you do to her?

 AXLE

I'm sorry, I didn't mean to killher!

 MARTIN

You said you were here to help me! 

AXLEI'm really sorry ... I didn't meanto kill her. I just wanted theboy...

 Martin cuts into Axle's words.

 AXLE

 MARTIN

 Axle sighs sadly and disappears. Meanwhile Jack runs overto Clair.

  INT. HOSPITAL ROOM - NIGHT Screen closes into a hospital room. Clair is lying in ahospital bed. She is unconscious. Ethan is looking at herthrough the glass. He looks very upset. He just continuesstaring at her and then decides to turn around. He goesover to the waiting room and sits down next to Violet. 

ETHANWhere did Jack go?

 VIOLET

He's questioning every doctor thatcomes in his way about Clair'scurrent status.

 ETHAN

Poor doctors. Violet smiles. 

VIOLETYeah, you're on to something!

 They start laughing. 

VIOLET (CONT'D)Does it feel bad?

 ETHAN

 Ethan's expression suddenly turns sad.

  INT. MARTIN'S ROOM - NIGHT Martin is sitting in his chair exasperated. All of asudden, out of nowhere Axle appears behind him.

They just left in the ambulancewithout me ...

 Axle Hits the wall with his ax. A vision appears in thehole he just created with his ax. In the vision: Ethan is talking to Jack and Violet.

 They all start laughing. Vision ends. Martin is staring at the wall where the vision justappeared moments ago. He looks very bitter.

 ETHAN

Is she going to be alright? 

DOCTOR 1I hope so, but I can't sayanything for sure.

 Jack and Violet also walk over to Clair. 

ETHAN(angrily)

 JACK

 ETHAN

I'm not. You're coming with me.

  INT. HOSPITAL ROOM Jack is sitting at Clair's bed. His eyes are filled withtears.

 Screen shows Clair's unconscious body. 

JACK (CONT'D)I'm sorry for the things I'vesaid. If you'd wake up right now,I promise ...

 Jack can hardly speak from the tears by now.

JACK (CONT'D)I promise that I will change! I'llmake good with Ethan. I'll doeverything as you want. Justplease. Just please ... don't go.

 Violet runs into the room. 

VIOLETI can't find Ethan anywhere!

 Violet notices that Jack is crying.

 JACK

No. What did you just say? 

VIOLETEthan is gone. He's not in thehospital I've searched for himeverywhere!

Did you try calling his phone?  INT. MARTIN'S ROOM - NIGHT Ethan is lying on the floor once again. His phone startsringing in his pocket. He quickly mutes it. He looks aroundhimself and notices that he is in Martin's room again. Hestarts typing on his phone. 

TEXTI'm in that guy's room again!HELP!

 He quickly sends the text and puts his phone back in hispocket, just before Axle and Martin enter the room. 

AXLEI see our hostage is now awake.

 Axle locks the door behind himself. 

AXLE (CONT'D)I'M sorry for the inconvenience!It usually doesn't take me so longto slaughter someone.

 Ethan looks terrified.

  INT. HOSPITAL ROOM - NIGHT Jack got Ethan's text. He is staring at it. 

JACKI can't believe this! He actuallywent there!

 Violet is staring at Clair. She points at her in terror. 

VIOLETLook!

 Jack looks at Clair and becomes horrified. 

JACKNO!

 Clair has turned into a monster. She sits up on the bed andjumps over to them. 

JACK (CONT'D)RUN!

 They run out of the room and into the waiting room. Therethey find themselves face to face with the doctors who havenow turned into zombies. Violet screams. 

JACK (CONT'D)The other way quickly!

 They run over to the emergency exit. Jack smashes in thedoor and they race down the stairs. They finally reach theexit and sprint outside the hospital. 

VIOLETThat was creepy!

 JACK

This is terrible! Clair is now oneof them and who knows what'shappening to Ethan right now!

 VIOLET

I know how to stop this! 

JACKHow?

 Violet turns to Jack.

VIOLETRemember when I started fiddlingwith the guy's computer and thenthat guy with the ax attacked me?

 JACK

  INT. MARTIN'S ROOM - NIGHT By now Ethan is tied to a chair. He is trying to escape,but has no luck doing so.

Your friends are nowhere near by! Axle turns his ax so that the handle is pointed at Ethan'sface. Then he punches him with it. The chair falls overwith Ethan.

And now the big finale! Axle swings his Axle one last time, but gets interrupted byMartin.

 Axle start roaring at Martin.

Really? And how are you gonna stopme from doing this?

 Jack grabs the computer and throws it out of the window.

NO!!! Axle falls on the ground. Meanwhile Violet runs over toEthan. 

VIOLETEthan! Get up!

 Martin looks at Jack. 

MARTINYou are a jerk! You don't deserveClair at all!

 JACK

What are you talking about? 

MARTINYou pretend that you are a hero toher, but I can see that you reallyare a monster!

 JACK

Okay, that's it! Jack attacks Martin. They start to fist fight. MeanwhileViolet is still trying to wake up Ethan. He finally openshis eyes.

VIOLETEthan you're alive!

 Ethan smiles. 

ETHANI see you were worrying about meonce again!

 All of a sudden Axle jumps up and smashes his ax intoViolet with his last bit strength. Violet screams. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)NO!!!

 Axle falls back onto the ground. He is now clearly dead.Meanwhile Martin and Jack continue the fist fight. Martinpunches Jack in the face. Jack pushes Martin away fromhimself. As Martin goes a step back he loses his balance,causing him to go hurtling out through the window. Jackstairs at him as Martin crashes into the ground. Bloodimmediately starts to spread around his dead body. 

JACKOh no ... What did I do!

 ETHAN

HELP! Jack turns to Ethan and notices Violet on the floor withthe ax in her back. 

JACKOh no!

 Jack rushes over to Violet's dead body. Ethan is cryingover her. 

ETHAN(crying)

He took away everything from me!MOM, and now her!

 JACK

Don't worry your mom is alive. 

ETHANReally? She woke up?

 JACK

Yes. The bad news is she turnedinto one of them!

 ETHAN

 Ethan's eyes are still filled with tears.  EXT. HOUSTON STREET - SUNRISE As the sun begins to rise people start changing back to whothey really are.

 The doctors start turning back to their human form. 

DOCTOR 1What on earth just happened?

 HOUSTON BRIDGE

 The zombies and the armed men who were fighting each otheron the bridge also start turning back into their humanform. They look very surprised. 

VIOLET'S HOUSE Violet's parents also turn back to humans. 

VIOLET'S MOMWhere's Violet?

 FBI HEADQUARTERS

 The armed men who were running around the FBI and wereshooting at everything suddenly change back to the peacefulworkers they once were.  INT. MARTIN'S ROOM Jack gets a phone call. Jack answers the call. 

JACKReally? That's great news!

 Jack puts his phone back into his pocket. 

JACK (CONT'D)I have great news! Everyone turnedback. It's over.

Yay ... 

JACKAnd ... Everyone who died duringthis curse are now coming back tolive. It's like someone pressed are-spawn button!

 Hope appears in Ethan's eyes. 

ETHANReally?

 Ethan quickly turns over to Violet. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)Come on Violet wake up!

 JACK

I'm going to go back to thehospital and check if yourmother's alright! Call me if shewakes up!

 ETHAN

Can I come with you! We could takeViolet with us!

 JACK

I think it's probably better forViolet if we don't move her aroundthat much right now. I'll callyou, when I've found your mom andbring her here. Ok?

 ETHAN

Ok 舰… Fine. Jack runs out of the room. Ethan turns back to Violet.

  INT. HOUSTON BRIDGE - SUNRISE As the sun begins to rise, the zombies and armed men fromthe game start becoming humans again.  INT. HOSPITAL ROOM - SUNRISE The zombies in the hospital turn back into doctors.

INT. FBI HEADQUARTERS The armed men in the FBI are slowly starting to becomehumans again while they still shooting everywhere likemadmen. Those who have already changed back are lookingaround blankly.  INT. VIOLET'S HOUSE - SUNRISE Violet's parents also change back from zombies to humans.Violet's mom start looking around and after a while shestarts looking at her husband. 

VIOLET'S MOMWhere's Violet?

  EXT. OUTSIDE MARTIN'S APARTMENT - SUNRISE Jack is walking towards the corpse of Martin. He sits downnext to it. 

JACKYou shouldn't have messed with me,then this would have neverhappened!

 Jack now goes over to the remains of the computer andremoves a pen drive from the machine. Then he sits back,next to the Martin's limp form. 

JACK (CONT'D)Thanks to this little adventure wehad, they have now come tocompletely trust me. Now I canfinally embrace my plan! With thispen drive I will be able to bringover not only the game characters,but every single virus that hasever existed virtually will nowtake shape.

 Jack gives a viperous smile and then leaves the corpsebehind.  INT. HOSPITAL WAITING ROOM - DAY Clair is sitting in a chair. Jack comes inside the room.Clair turns over to Jack, who is now running towards her. 

JACKI'm so happy that you are alright!

Jack hugs Clair tightly. 

CLAIRWhat just happened to me? Oneminute I was cut by a weirdmonster and the next moment I wasat the hospital's roof, roaring.

 Jack stops hugging Clair and then he smiles.

 Jack hugs Clair once again. As the camera closes onto hisface, we can see that his smile is slowly becoming more andmore devious.  INT. MARTIN'S ROOM - DAY Ethan is still sitting over Violet's body. By now he hastotally lost all hope that she will ever come back to live.

Okay ... Then I guess it's over...

 Ethan leaves the room with tears in his eyes.  INT. ETHAN'S NEW HOUSE - DAY Ethan walks inside his house upset. Then he realizessomething. 

ETHANRyan are you here?

 No reply. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)Where could he go? I haven't seenhim since we fell in the water ...

 Ethan walks inside his room and finds a letter beside hisbed. He picks it up and starts to read it out loud. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)Dear Ethan, I'm afraid I had to goback into my world. This wholechasing with the helicopters mademe realize that it's no good if Iam around you. I'm really going tomiss you.

 Ethan slowly looks up from his letter. His eyes are nowfilled with tears. He throws the letter on his bed and thenlays down next to it. He starts sobbing.  INT. JACK'S CAR - DAY Jack is on the way to Martin's house with Clair. 

CLAIRSo you left my son alone in thathouse with a corpse?

 JACK

I didn't want to call him away. They finally arrive. 

JUMP CUT TO:  MARTIN'S ROOM Clair and Jack rush inside the room. They can't find anyonein there. 

CLAIRWhere did they go?

 JACK

Violet must have resurrected likethe others. I bet they are walkingaround somewhere in town.

 Clair takes the phone out of her pocket. 

CLAIRI'll call him.

 Clair starts ringing Ethan.

INT. ETHAN'S ROOM - DAY Ethan hears the phone ringing in his pocket. He slowlytakes it out from his pocket. He checks who's calling. It'shis mom. He decides to answer the phone. 

ETHAN (O.S.)(trying not to cry)

Mom! I'm so glad you are alive!... 

CLAIR(over phone)

And I'M glad that YOU are alright,where are you?

 ETHAN (O.S.)

I'm at home. 

CLAIR(over phone)

Are you alright? You sound alittle bit sad.

 Ethan starts crying. 

CLAIR (CONT'D)(over phone)

What's wrong? 

ETHAN (O.S.)She's gone mom! Violet's dead.

 CLAIR

Wait. Did you take her away? 

ETHANNo. Why would I do that?

 CLAIR

Then why isn't she still here?Dead people don't just decide towalk away.

 ETHAN

She's not there? 

CLAIRNo!

 ETHAN

Stay there! I'm coming over! 

CLAIRNo! You stay there! We are pickingyou up!

INT. JACK'S CAR - DAY By now Ethan is already in Jack's car. 

JACKSo. Where do you think she is?

 ETHAN

I don't have a clue! The last timeI saw her she was dead!

 CLAIR

Try thinking like her. If you wereto resurrect after the events welived through, where would we go?

 Ethan gives an "are you serious?" look at his mom. 

ETHANI don't have a clue where she went... unless ...

 CLAIR

Unless what? 

ETHANYeah that must be it! Her parentswere walking around the house aszombies! She must have gone backto check if they were alright bynow!

 CLAIR

Do you know where they live? 

ETHANYes the address is: Green street45!

 JACK

I know where the street is! We'llbe there in no time!

 Jack speeds away with the car.  EXT. VIOLET'S HOUSE - DAY Jack's car arrives in front of the house. 

JACKWhat should we do now?

 ETHAN

I'll go and ring the bell.

CLAIRAre you sure it's a good idea. Wedon't know what might be going onin there.

 Ethan looks at the house. He notices that the lights are oninside. 

ETHANThe lights are on. Someonedefinitely inside!

 Ethan leaves the car and goes over to the front door. Hetakes a deep breath and then rings the bell. We can hearsome noises coming from inside. Then someone opens the doorand walks into the front yard. It's Violet's dad John. 

JOHNHow may I help you?

 ETHAN

Is Violet here? 

JOHNYes she just arrived, do you knowher?

 ETHAN

Yes she's my classmate. 

JOHNOh. I'll tell her you are here.

 ETHAN

Okay. John turns around and walks inside the house. Ethan looksreally happy. 

ETHAN (CONT'D)YES!

 Clair gets out of the car followed by Jack. 

CLAIRIs she here?

 ETHAN

Yes! 

JACKWell that's good news.

 Violet walks out of the house.

VIOLETHello!

 ETHAN

Hello Violet! I'm so happy thatyou are alright!

 VIOLET

I'm sorry, do I know you? 

ETHANWell we spent the whole daytogether.

 VIOLET

I'm afraid you must be mistaken,I've been at home all day.

 ETHAN

What? But that's impossible. Wewere trying to fight this monsterwith an ax and then he stabbed youin the back and you died! I'm sureI'M not mistaken!

 VIOLET

I think it's better if I go backinside ...

 ETHAN

WHAT? But this is the truth!Believe me! How come you don'tremember?

 Violet goes back inside the house and slams the door. 

JACKI think we should leave, beforeher parents decide to get intothis. Believe me I've seen plentyof movies with this scenario!

 ETHAN

(upset)Why doesn't she remember me ...?

 CLAIR

Jack is right sweetheart, weshould go.

 Ethan lowers his head. 

ETHANOkay ...

They go back inside the car and drive away.  EXT. ETHAN'S NEW HOUSE - DAY Jack's car arrives, this time in front of Ethan's newhouse. As they arrive Ethan rushes out of the car. While heapproaches the gate, he takes the keys out of his pocket.He opens the gate and does the same thing with the frontdoor of the house. He runs inside. Clair and Jack walkafter him. 

JACKCan I ask you something?

 Clair stops and looks back at Jack. 

CLAIRSure.

 JACK

Don't you know why this guy wantedto kill your son?

 Clair's face turns pale. 

JACK (CONT'D)So you know ...

 CLAIR

Yes I do. But it's a long story. 

JACKYou can tell me.

 CLAIR

Well, Ethan is not from thisworld. He is from the other world,but happened to be born here. Thisway he doesn't really belong toany of the two worlds. It's likehis floating in between them.

 JACK

How did this happen? Clair sighs. 

CLAIR18 years ago, on the day of ourmarriage, I realized, that myhusband was from another world.

CLAIR (CONT'D)He was a game character and was onthe run from Axle, the guy who youjust defeated. He wanted to starta new life here. UnfortunatelyAxle found him.

 As Clair is talking animated images appear on screenshowing what's happening in her story. 

CLAIR (CONT'D)Axle wanted to take Brian back totheir world along with me. Myhusband begged him not to do that,but he did. It turned out that hewanted me and Brian to be hisslaves. After 1 year of slavery,one night we decided to escape.Unfortunately, not everything wentlike planned, and Brian was killedby Axle. I managed to escape. Afew weeks after that I realized Iwas pregnant with Ethan and he wasborn here. That's the reason thathe doesn't really belong to eitherof the worlds. His father was aFigurian.

 JACK

What's a Figurian? 

CLAIRThat's what they call those peoplewho are in the "game world".

 JACK

Oh. So the reason Axle wanted tokill him is that the fact thatEthan is from neither worldprevented him from his domination,but I still don't understand why.

 CLAIR

Well I guess it's because Ethanwould've never transformed into aFigurian and as long as one of ushumans are alive, there's still achance that he can defeated.

 JACK

And he was defeated. 

CLAIRYes.

JACKThank you for telling me.

 Clair nods. Suddenly, as Jack wants to turn around andleave the pen drive drops from his pocket. Clair noticesthis and bends down to grab it. 

CLAIRWait let me help you.

 Clair picks up the pen drive. 

CLAIR (CONT'D)Wait a minute. I recognize thispen drive. Axle had one thatlooked just like this one.

 Clair notices the pen drive has Axle's name written on theside. 

CLAIR (CONT'D)Where did you get this from ... Ohno ...

 Jack smiles. 

JACK(in a deep and evilvoice)

Oh, yes! Jack lifts Clair up from the ground by her neck. 

JACK (CONT'D)Too bad, you won't have a chanceto tell Ethan, that I want to killhim!

 CLAIR

(choking)NO!

 JACK

And you don't know the best partyet!

 Jack suddenly transforms into the serial killer. 

CLAIRIt can't be you!

 The killer turns back into Jack and then giggles. 

JACKOh yes it can!

Jack turns Clair into ashes. 

JACK (CONT'D)And now so he won't miss you!

 Jack blows the ashes away. As he does that the ashes startto fly around his body. When they finally disappear Jackdoesn't look like Jack anymore. He's now taken the shape ofClair. He smiles evilly and starts talking in Clair'svoice. 

CLAIRDon't make yourself thatcomfortable Ethan! You days arenumbered!

 As Jack says this he starts walking inside the house.  CREDITS START TO ROLL
