SINO-ITALIAN FORUM ON GREEN INDUSTRY DEVELOPMENT Taking care of materials, energy, natural resources increasing the efficiency of production processes, adopting innovative solutions and developing new business models for more sustainable products and services The Sino-Italian Forum on Green Industry Development is jointly organized by the Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea (IMELS) and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China (MIIT). Since 2013, IMELS and MIIT have successfully implemented numerous cooperation activities focusing on the promotion of energy efficiency and green development. Moreover, in June 2017, the two respective Ministers agreed to further strengthen their bilateral cooperation in the field of green industry development and green manufacturing, so as to accelerate the process of upgrading and transforming the industrial sector towards energy efficiency and green development. The Forum on Green Industry Development focuses on policies and operational measures towards environmental sustainability in the automotive and solar energy industries, with particular attention to environmental strategies for processes, products and services, to increase efficiency and reduce risks for both health and environment. The Forum provides an opportunity for participants to familiarise themselves with the ongoing actions and experiences of China, debate issues of mutual interest and exchange information and best practices.

The Sino-Italian Forum on Green Industry Development is jointly organized by the Italian Ministry for the Environment, Land and Sea (IMELS) and the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology of China (MIIT).
