ELECTREN is a company specializing in electrification for the railway industry with over 25 years experience.

A member of the VIAS GROUP, which belongs to the ACS business group, ELECTREN specializes in power projects covering overhead lines equipment (OLE), traction power distribution substation, protection&control, telecom&scada and specific R&D projects. Our business is predominantly the main contractor for public railway public sector companies. We also work as a contractor with the largest companies within the rail industry.

In the past 15 years, the company has implemented more than 500 projects, including maintenance, renovations and new facilities. In addition, ELECTREN annually perfoms over 40 contracts in or for joint ventures.

· Design, procurement, build and maintenance of 1 traction substation 400 kV./ 2 x25 kV. and 1 traction substation 220 kV./ 2 x25 kV. Relating to high-speed line Antequera – Granada, and 5 Auto-transformer stations.

· High-Speed North – North-western Corridor. High-Speed Railway Line Madrid-Galicia: Sections Olmedo-Zamora; Zamora-Pedralba de Praderías; Pedralba de Praderías-Ourense. 3 Substations (400 kV./ 2 x25 kV.) and 13 auto-transformer stations. A public-private partnership involved from stage one of the project until completion including draft plans to final chosen design, procurement, building and maintenance.OLE, power distribution, and circuit breakers remote control.

· Comprehensive maintenance of 251 ventilation sites of Madrid underground transport network. Adaptation of the ventilation systems of La Latina, Sol-Tirso de Molina and O’Donell-Manuel Becerra stations.

· Integral (preventive and corrective) maintenance services for OLE and power distribution sites for all High-Speed Lines: MADRID-SEVILLA, CÓRDOBA-MÁLAGA and LA SAGRA-TOLEDO. MADRID-ZARAGOZA-BARCELONA-French Border, ZARAGOZA-TARDINETA and VANDELLÓS-TARRAGONA. MADRID-VALENCIA and junction ALBACETE-ALICANTE. MADRID-VALLADOLID and branch OILMEDO MEDINA. 10-year contract for Adif, as part of the JV MANTENIMIENTO AVE ENERGÍA.

· Design, build and initial maintenance of the 25kV-0V-25kV overhead line equipment with auto-transformers feeders for a speed of 350km/hr on the Madrid-Segovia and Valdestillas-Valladolid sections of the new high speed railway to northern and north-western Spain. The project is 280 kilometers long and includes the OLE works in the 28.377 km Guadarrama Tunnel and the Madrid-Chamartin station.

· Design and construction works for “Renovation of railway line number 131, section Radzionkow – Tarnowskie Gory from 27.900 – 41.300” – 8.800km of catenary.

· Design and construction works for “Modernization of railway line number E20, section Siedlce - Terespol – station Siedlce” – 23.000km of catenary.

· Design and construction works for “Modernization of railway line number 8, section Warszawa Okecie – Radom - station Radom” – 21.000km of catenary.

· Design and construction works for “Modernization of railway line number 226, section Pruszcz Gdanski – Gdansk Port Polnocny from 1.600 – 13.580” – 35.000km of catenary.

· Design and construction works for “Renovation of railway line number 131, section Tarnowskie Gory – Kalety and station Boronow” – 14.000km of catenary.

· Construction works for “Modernization of railway line number E30, section Krzeszowice – Krakow Mydlniki, from 46.700 – 62.400” – 38.000 km of catenary.

· Design and construction works for “Moving rigid catenary and control system in Pendolino Depot in Warsaw” - 700m of moving rigid catenary, control system and accommodation for systems 3kV DC, 15kV AC and 25kV AC power supply system.

· Design and construction works for “Rigid catenary and control system in Tramway Depot Franowo in Poznan” - 1100m of rigid catenary with moving sections and control system.

· Electrification of Ermesinde Station for REFER EPE.

· Doubling and Electrification of the Duero Line. Section: Cete – Peñafiel. REFER EPE.

· Track renewal and electrification of the Guimaraes line. Section: Santo Tirso – Lordelo. REFER EPE.

France

· Overhead lines works of isolation and earthing and adjustment on the high output works of MECCOLI on the SNCF national rail network (first contract 2013-2017, renewed).

· Design and works for the Overhead Line equipment upgrade of the first high speed line in the world, inaugurated in 1981: South- Eastern Paris Lyon LN1 High-Speed Railway Line. Adaptation of overhead line to the 300 Km/h Speed standard. Lot 1 and Lot 2. The work took place between Crisenoy (Km. 17+000) to Pasilly (Km. 163+000) on both tracks, including cross-over and junctions.

· Staged replacement of OLE Support by Support on new civil works for supporting a new building over the rail way of more than 8 tracks outside the Austerlitz station.

· Overhead line works in the regions of Bourgogne and Franche Comte. Framework agreement 2008-2010.

· Upgrade and improvement of OLE with asbestos removal, km. 79 to 93. Line 340 000 Paris – Le Havre. Track 1.

· Renewal of power distribution substations 4 x DC (1500V.) and 3 x AC (25 kV.) under PCB programme. Design and build.

· NR CP5 National Substation Supply Framework. ELECTREN UK is member of SSA UK Ltd, a joint venture appointed for providing new designed (Compact Air Insulated Switchgear, SF6-free) substations with low maintenance demands and low environmental impact.

· Reading Station Area Electrification – First Great Western Depot. Overhead line equipment and wiring – Phase 2. Lundy Projects Limited. 25 kV.

· London Underground power upgrade framework. ELECTREN UK is one of 17 the suppliers selected for HV electrical system modernisation.

· SPS & wiring works on Great Western Electrification on Route section 1 and Route section 3. Lundy Projects Limited.
