Parking can be tricky
in Eugene, especially
on or near campus.The Hedco Building
parking lot off Alder
St. offers pay-to-
park options and
accepts coins and
credit cards. Two-
hour public parking
is available on
streets
perpendicular to
Alder. Allow
additional time to
circle for a spot.
Finally, students can
acquire parking
permits by
purchasing one
through the UO
Department ofParking &
Transportation athttps://parking.uoregon.edu/ .
Two large parking
lots directly in front
of the building offerample parking
options, free of
charge.
There is plenty of
parking in Bend.
Students SHOULDNOT park in the
Duck Store lot
unless they have a
handicapped sticker.
Otherwise students
may park to the
North side of the
building. The side
door provides quick
access or students
may entrance
through the Duck
Store.
Students at the
White Stag Block
(WSB) have severalopen lots, parking
garages, or street
parking areas that
they can pay to use.

What in-building
or neighborhood
eateries exist for
students?
In Hedco, a coffee
shop that serves
light meals is open
in the morning and
early afternoon
during Fall, Winter
and Spring terms. It
operates limited
hours in Summer.
Two blocks South of
Lokey, at the corner
of 13th
Avenue and
Kincaid Street, there
begins a three-block
area with a widearray of food
choices from
coffeehouses to
stands with African,
German and
Mediterranean to
sit-down restaurants
Yelp it. Central Point
has several
restaurants and
grocery stores near
by. While some
stores (like 7-11) are
within easy walking
distance and some
restaurants (like
Mas) are walk
able most eateries
are a short drive
away.
There are no in-
building eateries but
there is a Mexican
restaurant and an
International House
of Pancakes located
next door, with
other options within
minutes of the
building.
The Duck Store on
the first floor of the
WSB sells coffee and
snacks. There are
several local
restaurants and
grocery stores in the
Portland area.
Five minutes away
from the school are
several eateries. No
food is available in
the school.

There is no student
access torefrigerators or
microwaves in
Hedco or Lokey.
Currently there is no
microwave orrefrigeration unless
a District 6
employee is enrolled
in the course with
other students. Its
entirely possible to
dedicate a space for
a refrigerator and
microwave if that
becomes a priority?
There is a
refrigerator,microwave, sink and
a water dispenser
available to all
students. Students
will need to have
their own water
bottles for the water
dispenser.
There is a student
lounge located onthe fifth floor of
WSB. There are
kitchens with
microwaves in the
second and third
floors.
Students can keep
their food in thestaff room.
Microwave and
fridge are available.
What
accommodations
have been made
for the
Americans with
Disabilities Act of
1990?
Both Hedco and
Lokey feature
automatic doors,
ramps or ground-
level entrances from
at least two sides
and elevators in
each building. Both
have handicapped-accessible
restrooms.

We have level
entrance into the
building along with
handicap parking
directly outside the
main entrance. The
restrooms are both
