In#ro(&c#ion) Angela my client is a senior executive working for a multinational bank in Mumbai. Her work

schedules are quite hectic and I can notice the stress when I rst met her when I was visiting the bank for some

personal reasons. he was glad to know that I am an Architect and immediately asked me design a house for her where she can have some escape from chaotic city life. he was having some ancestral land in !iu and wanted me

to give my idea which can best t her requirement. I promised her to do the same asked her why not to visit !iu

next weekend. As planned we reached !iu. "his was my rst visit to !iu and was in immediately in love with the its

immense natural beauty# rich Portuguese heritage, some of the most stunning architecture and attractions that I

have not experienced in any other state in India. All these, combined with the fact that it is a small and peaceful

island destination, was making it unique.

Angel revealed that her rst love was painting and always wanted to be a painter. er husband, !ohit, is also an

ardent lover of art and music. "hey have two teenage sons and love sport. #he wanted that this new home should

re$ect their inner personality and she could make this her home to pursue her interest in painting and desire to

indulge in some serious painting after their sons complete schooling and head for colleges.

It was a big challenge for me as I was %ust starting my carrier as an architect. "he &harm of 'iu was inviting and I

wanted to give my best for this work.
