Boadilla in the map of Madrid

Nowadays Boadilla has a population of 41.807 inhabitants and it’s in the 25th place among the towns of Madrid. It’s mainly because of the housing development in the 1970s. 52 different nationalities live together in the town, and foreigners constitute 4,43% of the population. It is also the second with the highest income, after Pozuelo de Alarcón.

Hélade School is what we call in Spain “concertado”: a private school that receives public funds from Community of Madrid in the compulsory courses (from 3 to 16 years old), and the rest of the courses (from 0 to 3, and “bachillerato”) are supported by private funds.

It is also a secular school, opened to all type of students without discrimination.

Our main objectives are:- Develop a high linguistic competence, not only in Spanish, but also in English ,German and Italian- Encourage the use of new technologies and sciences.- Practice sports.

The school was built in 2007 and it is located in C/ Severo Ochoa nº 6, next to the train station of “Siglo XXI” that commutes with Madrid city.It occupies an area of 8.988,93 m², with 13.450 m² constructed.Among our facilities, we highlight an indoor swimming pool and sport centre, dining room with own kitchen, canteen, library, auditorium, computer room, music room, laboratories, art room, etc.
