The vehicle‘s condition will be assessed throughan independent expert. He differs in usual wearand tear (acceptable damages) and damageswhose costs shall be borne by the lessee (notacceptable damages).

Acceptable DamagesThose damages are caused from a normalusage of the vehicle and do not influence thegeneral appearance of the vehicle negatively.Acceptable damages won‘t be invoiced.

Non-acceptable DamagesDamages caused by accident or violation arenot assigned to a normal usage and thus will beinvoiced. Thereby we differ in damages that willbe invoiced 100% and damages that will beinvoiced proportionately according to theirduration, mileage and usage.

Which Criteria do count at vehicle‘s evaluation?

Accident damages are caused throughaccidents, improper repairs, missing parts andthat affect operational- and road safety.Violation damages do impair appearance andfunctional state of the vehicle. Not acceptabledamages reduce the re-selling price of avehicle.

The mentioned differen-tiation in acceptable andnon-acceptable damagesbase on the experience ofexperts of TÜV Süd AutoPlus GmbH.

• Stone chippings have been repaired

In case of Passenger Cars or other vehicles up to 3,5t:

It has to be guaranteed that a driver has a sufficient sized field of view in whatever occurring weather circumstances. This field of view is measured from the middle of the seat – 29 cm broad and ends up within the upper and lower area of the wipers‘ area.
