"I have told you this while I am with you. The Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you everything and remind you of all that I told you. Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you. Not as the world gives do I give it to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled or afraid."
~John 14:25-27
MAY 26, 2019 SIXTH SUNDAY OF EASTER
We have been touched beyond words at the generosity from our parish community as Gary journeyed toward ordination as a permanent deacon. Your prayers and the Novena in the days leading up to ordination sustained us. This is a wonderful faith community and we are thrilled to serve here. Many people were instrumental in the beautiful Mass of Thanksgiving last Sunday. We offer our thanks to Gene Wierzgac and the 4th Degree Color Guard, Jacob Visovatti and the choir, the altar servers and Fr. Tom and Deacon Frank. We know the reception took a lot of work to plan and execute. Thanks to Jeanine Jahant for the beautiful flowers in the church and hall, Nancy Keough and the Ladies of St. Brigid for their work and coordination of the reception, Beth Ganss for the amazing cake, the Knights of Columbus for cleaning up and Josiah Shurtliff for brewing and serving the beer. We appreciate the beautiful memories John Tuttle captured with his camera and thanks to Debbie Welch who quietly works behind the scenes. We are thankful for Fr. Tom Wasilewski for arranging and encouraging the Novena and his support throughout this journey. Deacon Frank and Barbara Papp are our mentor couple and their generosity and wisdom are invaluable to us. Thank you, parishioners of Old St Patrick. We are blessed by you and excited to see what the Lord has in store for this amazing community in the years to come. God bless you. Deacon Gary and Mary Perrydore

Prayers are needed for the Kendrick Castillo family. If you haven't heard Kendrick Castillo was an 18 year old at Highlands Ranch
High School in Colorado. His Bravery helped and saved many
lives when two other young stu-dents entered their school and
opened fire. If it weren't for Kendrick Castillo's bravery many more would have perished that day. Kendrick Castillo was the only fatality thanks to his bravery. The Castillo Family are members of the Knights of Columbus and Kendrick was known for following in his Dad's footsteps by always helping with Knights of Columbus fundraisers. Please keep Kendrick and his family in your prayers.
