SKYPET- BR

• SKYPET-BR, a highly functional low-crystallisation co-polyester

polymer, is a new grade with wide area of applications in both

injection stretch-blow moulding and sheet extrusion. Its features

include excellent transparency and stretch-ability.

• SKYPET-BR is not easily crystallized, in contrast with normal PET.

Therefore, heavy gauge extruded sheet over 3~6mm or thick-walled

preform over 5~8mm can be manufactured without damaging

transparency.

• SKYPET-BR is easier for blow-moulding and thermoforming to

complex container shapes of high drawing ratio in moderate

temperature.

Polyester Characteristics

A-PET = Amorphous PET, which is mainly used in thin sheet and film applications.

PCTG = PCT (Polycyclohexane dimethyl terephthalate) modified by glycol (CHDM).
