Skyward.

Click on the leave type to see a detail

of the leave taken by date

Status shows you where your request is at in the

approval process.

Actual Remaining is your current

balance Pending

Remaining is your current

balance minus any leave requests

pending final approval.

A request can be edited or

deleted at any time BEFORE

it has been approved by a supervisor –

Once approved you

must go through HR for

changes.

To create a new leave request click the Add button

Page 7: SKYWARD

The Save button

submits the

request.

Complete the requested information. Do not leave anything blank.

MAKE SURE TO ENTER YOUR LEAVE IN DAYS. To request leave for a partial day: take the number of hours you were gone divided by the number of hours in your regular work shift. EX: If you work 8 hours per day and were gone for 2 hours it would be .25 of a day (2 / 8 = .25 of a day).

Page 8: SKYWARD

IMPORTANT NOTES

• Leave requests must be added ONE day PER request. If you need to request leave for two or more consecutive days, you will need to create more than one leave request.

– An easy tip is to use the “clone” button to create the additional requests.

• Leave Without Pay can not be entered through Employee Access. You must request leave without pay on a paper leave request form. Leave without pay must be approved by a supervisor BEFORE the leave is taken.

IMPORTANT NOTES

• You will not be able to edit your individual clock in/out times. You must give the corrected information to a supervisor or human resources to be corrected BEFORE you can submit your time sheet. IT IS YOUR RESPONSIBILITY TO MAKE SURE THE TIMES ARE CORRECT FOR THE WEEK BEFORE SUBMITTING YOUR TIME SHEET. FAILURE TO DO THIS WILL RESULT IN AN INCORRECT PAY CHECK.
