    I. FORMWORK PLAN

    2

    It indicates the shape, dimensions and positions of thestructural elements that make up the slab.

    It represents the plan view of the slab at the level of a

    horizontal section through the vertical elements.

    Sectioned elements (columns) should be hatched.

    The vertical dimensions of the plate and beams are

    indicated by cutting some transversal sections that are

    then rotated into the plane of the slab. The horizontal

    sections should be rotated downwards, while the vertical

    sections should be rotated to the right.

    It should show all dimensions that are necessary to

    indicate the position of structural elements in respect to

    the axes of the building.

    It should show all the dimensions of the formwork panels

    for plate, secondary and main beams.

    It is obtained by representing the reinforcement over theformwork plan. The interior dimensions are no longer

    represented in order to clear the space.

    In order to be viewed, the rebars are represented as

    rotated in the plane of the slab. The rebars are represented in the same order they are

    placed inside the formwork.

    The top rebars should extend on each side of the beamfor a distance of 1/4 from the largest adjacent clear

    spans.

    The inclined rebars start to descend at a distance of 1/5

    from the respective clear span.

    Distribution reinforcement, at least 4φφφφ6/m, has to beprovided perpendicular on the main reinforcement.

    !!! At the top side of the slab, the distribution reinforcement will be provided

    only in the zones where top main reinforcement is present (in order to create a

    mesh of rebars)

    Top reinforcement, at least 5φφφφ8/m OB37, should beprovided perpendicular on the main beams in order to

    resist the negative bending moments developed on the

    long direction. It has to extend on both sides of the main

    beam for a distance of 1/4 from the clear span on theshort direction of the slab.

    The dimensions of all straight segments of the inclinedrebars should be provided.

    The slab reinforcement plan should also contain the table

    of reinforcement that provides the main characteristics ofall the reinforcement marks: the diameter, the length and

    the geometry of the rebar, the steel grade and the

    number of identical rebars.

    At the bottom side, the table of reinforcement has topresent the summation of the lengths of all reinforcement

    marks for each diameter and the total quantity of

    reinforcing steel.
