Global Outreach is a Catholic foreign exchange

program committed to building a civilization of

love in East-Central Europe, as well as in the

United States, through the formation of young

Catholics who are committed to rebuilding the

church and society as servant leaders.

The 2017 Summer Camp will take place in the

Tatra Mountains of Slovakia.

Participate in the GO Summer Camp along with

other Catholic students from Lithuania, Poland,

Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia. Together

for almost one week, you will share cultural tra-

ditions, spiritual lessons, group activities and

daily mass.

Important Information

Trip Dates: July 5 - 20, 2017

Trip Purpose: Global Outreach is a Catholic youth exchange program that invites young people from

East-Central Europe to study at American Catholic high schools, while at the same time providing sum-

mer trip opportunities to Europe for American youth and adults. These Global Outreach exchanges ena-

ble young Catholics to respond to the call of Pope John Paul II “to build a civilization of love” as young

servant leaders for the 21st century. The trip staff will include Fr Larry Seidl, GO Spiritual Director; Bar-

bara Tota-Boryczka, GO Director; Daniel Kriegl, Camp Program Director; Bonny Marek, Trip Director.

Eligibility: Catholic high school students (must have completed their sophomore year), young adults,

and any adults (especially teachers) interested in a cultural and Catholic faith based-youth ministry ex-

perience may apply for the trip.

Cost: $2950.00 per person if paid on or before February 15, 2017; $3050.00 after February 15, 2017

Price subject to airfare increases. Price includes ground transportation in Europe, one meal per day,

sleeping accommodations, one week youth camp, round-trip airfare. Not included: passport fees, travel

insurance, extra meals/snacks, optional activities.

Your Experience: You will learn about new and exciting

cultures. You will meet new friends from Lithuania, Po-

land, Hungary, Czech Republic and Slovakia. You will eat,

sleep, and tour with local European families and learn

about Catholic traditions in another part of the world.

And in turn share our American culture and faith with

European students at a camp in Slovakia.
