The SLXe Whisper™ has been developed by Thermo King for operators who want to

minimise environmental impact without compromising cargo protection or operating cost.

The SLXe Whisper™ is a factory installed option which uses advanced design and proven

components to significantly reduce sound levels. It is available on all SLXe models, both

single and multi temperature.

Key components include:

• Acoustically absorbent materials to reduce the transmission of sound energy

• A refined engine compartment design incorporating reinforced access doors and a

special bottom panel to effectively contain operating sound.

Performance*The SLXe Whisper™ is on average 4 dBA quieter than the standard SLXe at both low and high engine speeds.

This equates to a reduction of more than 50% of the power of the noise source.

*While offering a significant decrease in sound level, the SLXe Whisper™ does not qualify for PIEK certification. Contact your local Thermo King
