SmartBalancer is a portable
balancing instrument for dynamic
balancing of rotors in the installed
condition, measurement of overallvibration, tracking analysis, fre-
quency analysis of vibrations and for
displaying the vibration time history.
SmartBalancer enables rotor vibra-
tions to be reduced by balancing
in-situ and the status of a machine
to be diagnosed. With its extensive
equipment, SmartBalancer also
covers many other vibration measu-
rement tasks a fact which makes
the instrument a powerful tool for
machine diagnosis.
Design
Already with the basic equipment,
the battery powered instrument is
a complete package comprising all
accessories required for 2-channelbalancing.
The scope of supply includes two
piezoelectric vibration sensors with
magnetic holders for level or curved
surfaces and two sensor proves. The
laser optical reference sensor can be
used at a large measuring distance,
providing for high convenience and
operator safety.
SmartBalancer has an ergonomically
designed, shock- and impact resi-
stant light metal housing, designed
for high operator convenience.
Its built-in rechargeable batteries
provide up to more than six hours
of continuous measurement on a
single battery charge. A high-con-
trast monochrome LCD display is
easy to read even under adverse
environmental conditions. Withdialog-driven operator prompting, an
integral evaluation computer, vector
display of unbalance and test run
vectors and output of reports on a
printer (through PC) operation of the
instrument is easy and fast to learn.
The SmartBalancer-Report PC soft-
ware included in the scope of supply
enables measurement results to be
presented in graphical or tabular
form, to be imported into programs
from the Windows Office suite and
highly professional balancing reports
to be created.
