About IYCWorld

Founded in 2000, IYCWorld is the ONLY organization committed to IT-led comprehensive social

infrastructure development (education, health, SMEs, NGOs, communities and governance)

globally. Perhaps India's first truly KNOWLEDGE COMPANY, it enjoys global thought leadership

as reflected in the global publications on Internet application:

These books have been co-authored by Mr. Sandeep Srivastava, Co-founder and CEO, IYCWorld

with leading INSEAD professors & Dr Kiran Bedi, and published globally by the Financial Times,

London, Prentice Hall, USA and SAGE, Delhi.

In its continuous effort to maintain its global thought leadership, IYCWorld has filed multiple

global Patent applications which are pending for acceptance. 16 of our innovations have been

recongnized as “Inventions” during the patent application acceptance procedure.

IYCWorld took seven years to build the basic 2nd Generation education content and process

platform as well as fine-tune the more difficult aspect – handholding needed for cultural change

in schools for adoption of IT. IYCWorld, as a pioneer, redefined the use of IT in education by

focusing on 'Technology OF Education' rather than ‘Technology IN Education'.

Objective:

Smart Learning: Smart Class, Smart Assessment and Smart Home for

comprehensive and complete learning Experience.

In the current Knowledge society traditional class room teaching methodology is

undergoing a sea change to ensure students have a far better understanding of the finer

nuances of the topic being taught in the classroom.

The technology has now made it possible to convert all the topics into multimedia visual

content for use of teachers in the classroom, vastly enhancing the learning gains of the

students by combining the power of hearing with that of visualization.

It is now an accepted fact, globally, that the visualization of the content dramatically

improves the delivery, impact and retention of the classroom teaching.

However the teaching learning process is incomplete until and unless the students at

home are also enabled to access the Curriculum based learning content and self practice

tools on 24X7 basis. To bridge this School-home continuum gap IYCWorld”s Smart

Learning, gives an option to the school/students to extend the access of Curriculum

based learning visual content and self practice tools to the students at home. Getting

School and students home on the same Smart Learning platform enhances the learning

of the students phenomenally by vastly strengthening following teaching-learning

processes

1. Pre class Process: Students have the pre-class access to the topics to be taught in

the classroom days in advance . This helps them to familiarize themselves to the

topics to be taught in the classroom and be ready with the relevant questions they

would like to ask to clarify their doubts.

2. In class Process: Teachers are fully enabled to access and use Multimedia smart

class content for far better learning gains of the students and vastly enhancing

Teaching-Learning Process in the Classroom.

Page 5: Smart Learning Proposal

5

3. Post class Process: Students have access to the multimedia visual content at

home enabling them to do the revision of the topics taught in the classroom.

Unique self practice tools and diagnostics help students to attempt solving critical

questions and gain far better understanding of the finer nuances of the topics

taught in the classroom.

With the twin objective of providing always current ( regularly updated for

ongoing content innovations done by IYCWorld as well as any Curriculum changes

effected by CBSE) Multimedia Visual content to the School as well as to students at

home , IYCWorld provides Delivery of the content On-Line over the Internet

backbone.

In fact there is no other delivery method other than the On-line which ensures

school as well as students at home have always current and updated content

pertinent to their current need.

Our Offering: Smart Learning Offering has two distinct components
